Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): I put a down payment without seeing a detailed cost estimate, and realize I was overcharged by a "middle man, or technically speaking.woman", Dawn of Wood You, when I could have purchased from the actual producer for a lot less based on my original google search. The piece was perfect for the room, and the delivery guys were polite.

I've purchased many pieces from them over the years and have one piece left to buy. Woodyou will finish and deliver your purchase for additional $ or you can DIY. I've done both. Prices on the website have not been updated in over a year so you might end up with some sticker shock.

After searching for months for an all wood piece for the bathroom for a small space. I found a beautiful wood pantry at a reasonable price with excellent workmanship! The customer service was outstanding. Because of space restraints for door cabinet clearance the proprietor actually measured each piece for me! I will shop here again!

We have bought furniture from here several times and every time has been a great experience. Dawn is extremely nice and helpful. Their prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend purchasing your furniture here.

We needed a unique cat litter enclosure and Dawn came up with a great solution! Their decor is awesome! Wish I had more areas in my home that needed decorating!

We have bought furniture of all kinds from Wood You since 1979. I have never had a problem with the management. Dawn runs her store very professionally and will go out of her way to work with you. In the last week we took delivery of beautiful cabinets for our bathroom and are very pleased. Go see what WoodYou has to offer, you will be pleasantly surprised.

So far so good. Had to order the piece of furniture we wanted but was able to order already painted so that was a plus. Nice staff.

With a new house I have things that needed to be purchased and I wanted well made furniture. I originally looked at Wood You for bookcases- but I am contemporary at heart and while it would be lifetime furniture- it didn't fit the style I wanted for my living spaces. BUT- I was hooked and kept going back tot heir site for other things I was interested in. John and I had discussed buying chests for the end of the bed in both the master and one of the guest rooms.

I had found a steal somewhere else for the guest room- but Wood You had advertised online a 72 inch chest! That would fit the end of a king size bed beautifully! I showed John and we had set our sights on this piece. We finally had a minute to get out that way and pop into the store- the smell of wood is intoxicating to me~ I love all arts, and woodworking is a gorgeous art.

We walked the store and I drooled over so many things! They did have some buffet or entertainment stands (depending on what you need to use it for) that were contemporary! I didn't have a need- but wowza! The dining room sets were stunning. But I have my heart set on attempting to build my own (why start with a basic project when you can jump into a moderate project!).

What we didn't find- was the 72 inch chest. booger butt! We finally took a minute to talk to the lovely sales lady and she explained that the had the 36 inch of the same one, but that the 72 inch would have to be ordered and they are so backlogged it would be months before getting it. A problem I decided to overcome by asking if they had more than one of the 36 inch?

Because if I bought 2- that would be 72 inches. They had 4! Ok- what is the price difference if I buy 2 compared to buying the one big one- because I am cheap at heart. Wood You believe it was the same price! Ok- done, now I had to pick which 2- and you know I carefully examined each! They are bare wood- so I have to stain them and John is trying to decide if he wants me to upholster the tops or just stain them. Upholstery isn't a big deal to me~ been there, done that (don't you be surprised).

Huge shout out to the sales lady from Saturday and I also grabbed a metal box too! They have various decor pieces throughout the store that are also for sale! Happy hunting- but get your quality wood furniture here!

Really nice solid wood furniture in many styles with many options and you can finish it yourself or they can finish it for you. Dawn is great to work with and can help you find just what you're looking for.

We bought a counter height table and chairs over 9 yrs ago and it still is beautiful, solid furniture that will last more yrs to come. It was one of the best furniture purchases to date. It survived three kids and no wobbly or concerns about durability. The only thing is that you need to be prepared to put in some work to finish the furniture.but it made it that more special to my family.

We settled with Wood You because there was nothing else out there that matched the quality. We knew it would last a long time.which is worth the investment. Thank you Wood You!

We bought a television console. The wood looks great and the staining was easy. The issue is that the doors do not fit right. When looking at the console, the gap at the top door and is noticeably larger on one side than the other. Someone came out and was able to correct a couple of the doors, but not able to correct the last door. He thought that maybe the space or the door is not square.

There has been no further attempt to correct the issue. It visually makes the furniture look poorly made. If you decide to purchase, make sure to check it out completely before leaving the store. Update: Wood You contacted me soon after this last attempt. Everyone at the store worked tirelessly to correct the issue including contacting the manufacturer of the piece to see what adjustments could be made. It now looks great. I am totally impressed with the customer service of this store. You won't find this much attention to customer satisfaction anywhere.

Solid wood furniture at a reasonable price. However, they overpromise and under deliver. It took almost 4 months to receive prepaid product. I need to add more to this review. Upon receiving the bookcases and beginning to place books on the shelves, the shelves sagged. We immediately reported this issue to Ms. Dawn. She said she would contact the manufacturer and get back with us.

We have never received this follow up. We definitely feel as though this shop is all about taking your prepayment but, not concerned with the customer's satisfaction. We have bookcases with shelves that can't hold a full shelf of books. Worse yet, WoodYou doesn't seem to care and doesn't return calls.

My husband and I swung by since we just moved in and looking for furniture. It is so beautiful! Each item made with care, and all furniture can be stained to whichever color you need to match your existing furniture. People were friendly, courteous, and very helpful. We found so many amazing items, and they deliver! Everything is made of real wood, mostly pine, and smells amazing. I will definitely come back!

This is a great place to shop if you are interested in buying well made, solid furniture that will last you for generations. It is a tradition in my mother's family to buy a dining room table and chair set as a house warming gift, as well as buying the grandchildren their first real bedroom set. My parents' dining set has been not only a place to eat, but a place where many family meals and stories were shared and holds great sentimental value.

After much research and deliberation, we decided to purchase a round butterfly table (where the table extension folds inside the table) and 6 mission style chairs. (Sit in the chairs, they are very supportive!) We also opted for them to paint the set in an antique distressed white. We were quoted 2 weeks for the furniture to come in and 4-6 weeks for the painting.

We are waiting anxiously, but I know it will be worth it. We also ordered 2 platform twin beds and a bookshelf for the kid's room finished in a distressed navy. Extremely excited for everything. The furniture and finishing are not cheap but in my opinion are worth it if these are items you plan to have and use for years and years. I would rather save for a few months and pay for exactly what I want then to buy something cheaply made that I know I'm not going to treasure.

Or buy from a big name chain that really doesn't care about you as a customer! Right now we are saving for a sofa table/bookshelf. Thank you, Dawn, for a great store and products!

Awesome customer service the owners are so helpful been doing business with them for 5 years and only had one issue they took care of it asap. The products are great no issues. I've been using Wood you for 20 years and have never had an issue. If your on a budget or just like doing things for yourself this is the place. Also I'm a true believers in supporting a small business the American way.

Go in check it out they have alot of stuff small and big. My friends ask were I got all my stuff I tell them Wood you and there shocked. I have a full bedroom set and living room and office.
