Weathercraft began in spring 1988 as a very small part time business making Adirondack Chairs in a woodworking shop located in Cape Hatteras, NC., with the help of the founders dad. In 1989 the founder Bill Palmer opened a small 2400 sq. By the following year word was out. The demand for these quality handcrafted Adirondack chairs was growing, and with only three part time employees helping to meet order fulfillment.
