In 1975, Frank LaPorta Sr. owned a trucking firm, and was hauling freight of all kinds, including office furniture. It was at that time that he realized that he could supply pre-owned office furniture at a great price to this market place. The 1st stage of this business included driving trucks during the night and selling office furniture during the day, with no outside aid except for his wife, Connie who did all the book work and helped keep the store open all day.
