Berkeley Mills is a team of 40 highly skilled artisans, custom designers and engineers in the Bay Area who are devoted to the success of your project. We provide custom solid wood furniture, kitchen remodeling, contemporary door construction and much more. Our full-service design team will work directly with you or in collaboration with your architect or designer to achieve the perfect marriage of form and function. We will install ourselves, or we will provide detailed instructions to assure successful installation by your contractor.

When we began Berkeley Mills in 1988, we had disparate backgrounds and experiences in woodworking, but we shared a common goal: to make furniture of such enduring design and quality that it transforms one's surroundings by adding sophistication, serenity, beauty and comfort to the environment. Unlike other furniture makers, our craftsmen work neither individually nor on an assembly line, but as a team, each contributing his or her particular expertise.Nearly every step involves hand work or hand finishing.
