This is a big store. They have a very large selection of leather furniture. Ask for a map when you inter store this will help find your way around. No hard sell just information.

With our new home we inherited an oddly-shaped dining room, which we decided to make a library/dining area. Tim Orman turned our concept into reality by designing a Simply Amish library table that not only fits the space, but also allows us to spread out our books or entertain dinner guests. Quality furniture, it perfectly coordinates with the wall of Amish bookshelves we built and makes this odd space our favorite now. Accomplishing the project during a pandemic was no small feat, but Tim dogged production and rendered exceptional customer service until final delivery.

We had very specific size requirements for replacing our bedroom furniture and were having trouble finding quality furniture that met our needs at other stores. Tim Orman quickly steered us in the right direction. The delivery process went very smoothly. We later noticed a blemish on a drawer and Tim found us a solution to the problem. We appreciated the personal service and are pleased with our purchase.

These reviews are legit! I shopped for a dining table for several weeks before I stopped at Orman's. I'm glad I did! Tim was knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic about helping me find the right table. He is passionate about furniture and it shows. What's more is he appreciates a good value. The store is a lot larger than it looks in the google picture and there is plenty of quality inventory to help you understand options. Orman's will be my first stop next time I need furniture.

Approximately 10 yrs ago I was on a mission to find Classic Leather furniture that we could afford and I found Orman's. Fast forward to this year and I needed to upgrade a chair cushion. The Classic Leather company instructed me to contact the dealer that we purchased from. I did that and Tim Orman took over. After 10 yrs he provided service as if we had just purchased from him. Top notch service before, during and 10 yrs later! Thank you Tim!

We just finished a kitchen redo. Knocked out wall between kitchen and dining room and wanted a specific table to fit the look. Tim helped us tremendously and had many suggestions. My husband is a woodworker and picky. Tim helped us order a beautiful quarter sawn oak table from an Amish shop in Pennsylvania. We weren't rushed on decision making and it was ready in about 2 months. The chairs were shipped to the table shop so all stains match. We couldn't be more pleased!

The mechanism in our recliner was defective and called Orman's to see what could be done. Because we purchased the chair from their store many years ago, Tim was able to have it repaired and also had cushions replaced since the chair was still under warranty. (This to me shows the quality of furniture that Orman's sells.) While at the store we talked to Tim about getting a king size headboard to match a set we have had for 45 years.
We purchased an Amish headboard, was able to match color exactly and it looks terrific in our bedroom! Quality, service, and knowledge are what you get at Orman's. Thanks Tim for all your hard work. We will be back.

This place is so sad. I purchased some nice furniture here years ago. I thought by now it'd really be out of business because it's been going out of business about 13 years. I was surprised they answered the phone when I called to find out hours. But I was even more surprised to see this place in shambles, still trying to sell what was on the floor when they started the going out of business marketing ploy so long ago.
The leaky roof is worse and even the outside of the building is decaying and rotting now. The prices are insane. I know some stores mark things up to mark them down but honestly 10% of the asking price is probably too much for many items. I just wish they put this poor store out of its misery already.

Nobody knows furniture like Tim Orman. He's been in the business over 40 years. We moved to KC from D.C. in 2004 and we've been customers ever since. The furniture quality is outstanding; the prices are very fair; and they stand behind ALL of their products. This store is the benchmark for quality furniture. It may not be the most glitzy- but if you want to know what goes into quality furniture and why it's a value, shop here.

When I'm buying furniture I'll buy the furniture but I don't want to pay someone else rent. Orman's makes low prices work because its not in a high rent area. I like that I get more furniture for my money. Not all buyers think this way but I always buy name brands at off-price places. Worth a look.

Tim's been in the business for over 40 years and if you want to know what goes into quality furniture, and why it's a value (and not junk you'll replace in a few years), you need to shop here. It may not be as glitzy as other stores but look beyond the fluff of Nebraska Furniture Mart or other places.
At those other places you'll work with "order takers", not people who've been to the factories and know firsthand why a piece is built the way it is.
