Beginning with small roots as a general store in Hawaii that opened in 1909, C. S. Wo & Sons, Ltd. has since flourished into a business that includes multiple furniture and mattress stores. We are proud to be a local, family-owned business that can make a positive impact on our local community here in Hawaii and California. We own and operate the retail brands HomeWorld, SlumberWorld, C. S. Wo & Sons, Red Knot and are also the Hawaii licensee of Ashley HomeStore with locations all across Hawaii and a store located in California.

Born out of the entrepreneurial spirit of the early 1900s, Ching Sing Wo opened a general merchandise store on North King Street in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1909. As Hawaii grew and prospered, so did the C. S. Wo general store. In 1942, the general store was transformed into a furniture store. At the same time, the sons of Ching Sing Wo, Bob, Jim, and Bill joined the thriving family business and the company was renamed C. S. Wo & Sons. For the next three decades, the business grew. The dock strike in 1949 inspired the brothers to open up the CSMF upholstery and casegoods factory.

C. S. Wo & Sons takes pride in not only serving our communities, but also giving back to them. REHAB Foundation is the only inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Hawaii, and we are so thankful to everyone who assisted us in donating to this incredible organization. Together with Living808, C. S. Wo & Sons assisted in the donation of Living808's old set to the HUGS house!
