For over 100 years, three generations of the Locatelli and Smith families have been serving greater Boston with fine reupholstery, slipcovers, cornices and headboards. At Paine Furniture of Boston and Dom Locatelli of Wellesley, Louis Locatelli learned his craft. Louis and his wife, Ilva, began their business venture in Everett, MA.

Great service and great workmanship at a very reasonable price. The custom slipcovers we purchased from Gary Smith for two different couches fit like a glove and exceeded our expectations. Gary is a nice guy and is quite accommodating. Would not hesitate to do business with him again. Highly recommend.

I had two pieces of furniture reupholstered by Locatellii Smith Interiors. The first was a year ago. I have an antique victorian tufted sofa. Gary came to my home to evaluate the condition, give a labor estimate and show fabrics. He had a very nice selection to choose from. After thinking about the project for a few days, I asked Gary to come back to start my project.
He was very professional. Picked up my sofa, and in six weeks, I was astounded with the work he did. My sofa was in my family for years. The care that Gary took was very much appreciated. Gary also, just completed a club chair the other day, which came out great as well. I highly recommend Locatelli Smith Interiors. It was a good experience.

I've used Locatelli Smith Interiors services on several occasions over the last 20 plus years. I've always had a good experience. My most recent project was my living room set, which required major updating. After interviewing me on the phone on what my thoughts were on fabrics, Gary came to my home with nice selections that coordinated well in my home.
He reupholstered a sofa, love sofa and two wing chairs. He even took half my furniture in my room at a time, so I wouldn't have an empty room. I couldn't be happier with his workmanship and service. I have referred Locatelli Smith Interiors several times and I've always heard positive feedback.

Last summer I had an antique Empire sofa reupholstered by Locatelli Smith Interiors. Gary came to my home and evaluated my sofa and discussed proper fabric design and color for my sofa as well as coordinating with the room. Gary did a fabulous job, which was so important to me, since this sofa was my grandmother's. Recently, I had Locatelli Smith Interiors make custom slipcovers for my 2 wing chairs. I couldn't be happier with Locatelli's work and service.

Nice fellow at time of consult in January. That's about it. I did give Locatelli Smith interiors a deposit for several hundred dollars for cushion covers 5 months ago. Called again in April to learn of progress on covers and was told would have covers in 2 weeks. Still waiting to hear back in June. Not sure I am going to receive this product so will ask for refund.

I've had several pieces of furniture reupholstered over the years by Gary and his family at Locatelli Smith Interiors. This is the first opportunity I've had to express my gratitude, to the quality of service, pleasant disposition, and reliability. I have several antiques that are dear to me. Most have been handed down from family. When I first met Gary and his father (about 17 years ago), I was impressed with their attention to detail.
Especially with fabric selection, that they brought to my home. Since then, I've had three other projects done by Locatelli's. Each time they gave me the same attention to detail. A pleasant experience. I do recommend their services.
