Our showroom is in the western end of the Dover business district, and occupies the entire block between Blackwell St. and Bassett Highway. The Dover Historical Society is directly across Prospect St. from us, and the building that housed the Dover Bowling Lanes is across from us on Bassett Highway.

This was a great place to buy furniture fine and pretty. The owners took good care of this place for many years, we had the experience twice and both times were amazing, good prices, excellent quality and the service until they brought it to my condominium. We recommend it but I believe this place will close for good soon. The owners will retire and enjoy their golden years and the town plans to build apartments where this place is.

Thank God they're closing! The sale prices are nothing special and the dilapidated building should've been condemned at least 10-15 yrs ago from all the leaks and mold everywhere! I started having breathing problems 5 min after walking in. I feel sorry for the employees who have to work there and breathe that toxic air.

People are nice. Building is a wreck. This is their closing sale. Lots of one-off chairs and pieces with deep discounts. Found a bench to buy less than half the sticker. It'll be hit or miss now, but you could get really lucky. Worth a look.

This was such a crime you allow this store to jack up prices of furniture, pretending to be offering you some crazy discount where in reality he is ripping off the consumer. Just go out of business already and let a retailer in there that can really serve the community.

Definitely a cool place. Don't be deceived by the outside - it's antique. The inside has a huge selection of furniture and the prices are decent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will be definitely coming back

Hidden away in downtown Dover is this 90 year old gem of a furniture store. This is not a Raymour & Flanigan or Ashley furniture store where everything looks nice but chips and falls apart (at hugh prices mind you). Harry Loory Furniture has a wide variety of furniture at all price levels. Do they sell cheaper furniture? Yes. Do they sell hardwood brands from the USA that will last 20+ years, YES!

They are very polite and helpful, and if they do not have something in stock, they can order it or even get it made for you. Don't waste your time with any other furniture store, if you need good furniture at a fair price, go to Harry Loory Furniture.

What an amazing store. Came across it by accident after coming from other local furniture stores. Followed it from my gps n my first thought was is it really that big from the outside. Yes it is. Walked in and thought that I would never find a thing n walked up down around n around. Place is HUGE. What amazing quality furniture n most of it made in the USA. Owners wonderful people knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Totally recommend them. Check them out you will be very surprised.

This place is a gem! I can't believe we never shopped here before. We got the same furniture we saw at other places cheaper and with no attitude! Mel & Barbara are fantastic people! The service was 2nd to none and they delivered the furniture for free over 100 miles away! All business's should use them as a goal they want to be as good as!

I can't believe there aren't any prior reviews. These guys have been in business almost 100 years. Still family owned in an older store at the corner of downtown Dover. They have a huge selection on multiple floors for all rooms of your house. Their pricing is aggressive and certainly better than Huffman Koos, Macy's and Raymour and Flannigan.

Best of all is free delivery. That's going to save me $200 alone versus if I purchased at Macy's or Raymour and Flannigan. A good furniture store that I would visit again when shopping for furniture.
