Ryan's Rustic Railings

Ryan's Rustic Railings was founded in 1994 as a sole proprietorship following a spin-off from Voyageur Log Homes, where founder Ryan Holman identified a growing demand for custom log railings. Starting from a small farmhouse garage in Orr, Minnesota, the company expanded in 2000 to a 40-acre site with a 5,000-square-foot shop and showroom. Today, we operate from a state-of-the-art 20,000-square-foot facility adjacent to Highway 53, serving homeowners, contractors, and commercial clients across all 50 states, Canada, and internationally. Our expertise lies in crafting custom log railings, spiral staircases, trusses, mantels, and rustic furniture using Northern White Cedar, Red Pine, and White Pine. We prioritize quality by seasoning wood in a dedicated kiln to minimize cracking and warping, ensuring long-lasting durability.

Our team of seasoned craftsmen pre-manufactures all products in-house, numbering components for seamless assembly at client locations. With over 25 years of experience, we combine traditional techniques like hand-peeling and draw-knifing with modern engineering to meet exact specifications. Our commitment to customer satisfaction extends to personalized consultations, free cost estimates, and flexible installation options. We pride ourselves on being a family-owned business rooted in Minnesota's timber heritage, offering nationwide shipping and unmatched post-sale support. Our work has enhanced properties from Arizona to New York and even in Germany and France, establishing us as a trusted leader in rustic log craftsmanship.
