Kerf Design Mark and Jessica enjoy cooking as a team, so they asked us to design a kitchen that works well for simultaneous prep work and cooking. This streamlined set of cabinets helped finish off a remodel of a 1960's North Seattle home. Here at Kerf, we know that when things are designed well, you can love them well. We want our product to function in a way that makes sense for how you live your life, so each project is designed and built to order. We work with you, one on one, to create a perfect solution to your needs, whether you are a homeowner, architect, contractor or a developer.

Kerf is committed to creating a sustainable product. In addition to our exclusive use of FSC certified sustainable wood, low VOC finishes and formaldehyde free glues, we are voluntarily participating in a carbon offset program to ensure that our products are not contributing to global warming. On average each kitchen we build pays for about two metric tons of carbon offsets, which are purchased quarterly through The Gold Standard. Visit them and learn how you can get involved. We are located in the heart of Northwest Seattle, in Interbay.

This colorful staircase was the centerpiece of a remodel and second floor addition to a Seattle bungalow. This bookcase was built to occupy an existing interior french door opening in a small Seattle Bungalow. Joel and Julia have since built a new house, but they brought the bookcase with them. In addition to our cabinetry, our shop also produces a fair amount of freestanding furniture.

To come up with a price estimate for you, we need to know the overall dimensions of the cabinets you need. How wide, tall, and deep can we go? Photos and drawings are really helpful; Take a few snapshots of the room we are working with. Add a simple sketch with a few dimensions and we can usually get a good idea of the space.
