E & G Amish Furniture is a Family owned and operated Company, created by Earlene and Greg Landwehr. The Landwehrs' have called Texas their home since 1995. They are originally from a small town in Ohio, surrounded by a prominent Amish community full of talented craftsmen, who build their legacy on quality, handmade furniture.

Hardwood Options

With so many wood options available, E&G Amish Furniture works closely with our customers to choose the perfect wood. Each wood takes stain differently due to their density, which can be referenced with our Jenka Hardness Scale. The higher the density (Hickory), the more durable the wood, and lower density (Elm) can be subject to dents and dings.
Stain Options
Report
E&G Amish Furniture offers over 20 Ohio Certified Standard (OCS) stains in 6 species of wood. Each wood effects the stain differently, due to the density and grain pattern that is distinctive to the species of wood. Below, you will find descriptions and photos of each wood with a variety of different stains available.
