I had a custom desk and entertainment center unit built by Wonk out of Bamboo. They are BEAUTIFUL. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny. Diana was a pleasure to work with through a few iterations of design changes. It took several weeks to make the furniture, but their initial time estimate was accurate. The delivery people they used showed up exactly on time. (I joked with them. what kind of way is that to run a delivery business?

You are supposed to be 3 hours late and not call to tell me that.) I am a scientist/engineer and pretty fussy and the work is meticulous - the joinery, the finish, every aspect of the work. I HIGHLY recommend.

I bought a bed with storage drawers underneath. They broke within 2-3 months. When I contacted them to see what could be done including sharing pictures, they told me to take the bed apart and bring the significantly sized, large drawer in myself. The drawer probably weights almost as much as me. They didn't offer to pick it up and do the repair at my apartment or even come to my apartment to investigate the issue.

This was a custom bed order mind you. I wouldn't recommend anyone order from them if you're expecting typical service you would get from any furniture maker that customizes an order. The premium they charge for their furniture in my opinion isn't worth the chance when it breaks so easily. I would in the future seek other brooklyn based furniture makers.
