Word is out-the designer's best-kept secret source for exotic home furnishings is revealed. In the trade, Via Diva has a dedicated underground following that demands to be notified as soon as the latest containers arrive full of treasures from China, Indonesia, India, and other exotic ports. The outside of this funky showroom/warehouse/attic gives scant evidence to the unique collection of furniture, statuary, architectural elements, lighting, and accessories found inside. What you will discover at Via Diva depends on what owner Lou Holliday uncovers on his travels throughout Asia, and the mix is constantly changing as each new container arrives.

Lou is awesome and he has some amazing pieces at great prices. One thing to note is that the hours listed here are not accurate at the moment. They are closed Fridays and Sundays and are open 11am-5pm, Mon-Thu and Saturday.

I love this place! Lou is a magical being who finds rare treasures in the east and brings them to us in Marin!

My absolute favorite place to go for special pieces. Everything there is truly one of a kind. The owner Lou travels to Asia constantly to grab out of this world teak and statues etc. that you just can't find or replicate anywhere else. Over the years box stores churn out cheap furniture that jusr doesn't last and all looks the same. This is one of the last places with REAL stuff. Lou and his wife Allison are so down to earth and can help you find your forever piece that you can pass down for generations. If you are ever in the area stop by and get lost in his store of treasures.

I have shopped from this store numerous time now and recommended it whenever I can. We have pieces for inside the house along with beautiful garden elements. Truly special pieces of furniture and architectural elements for your home. This is not a "Home Goods" kinda place this is a place for someone who wants to stand out in the crowd. I can not recommend this store enough.

Friendly and attentive staff that are happy to help find a unique piece of furniture for you. Although I was impressed with the amount of buffet server furniture choices they carry and are on display their prices were too expensive for my pocket. Some pieces that had $3,000+ price tags on them had noticeable imperfections on them such as missing legs, scratches, unfinished interiors, etc. Unfortunately none of the pieces fit within my spending budget and I was able to find a great (and brand new) buffet server at another store.

Unusual and unique Asian home decor items for house and garden. We drop in every time they get a new shipment. Excellent values and selection and always a wonderful surprise to be found in a corner or on the second floor.

I absolutely love this place! Lou and all the staff are the best. I have been buying from them for at least 10 years and love the quality and beauty of the furniture. There are always fabulous new pieces coming in. I am an interior designer and know that I will find unique and hand picked things. They couldn't be nicer or easier to deal with. I give this place 10 stars!

Love this place, it is a feast for the eyes. And the owner is incredibly helpful, pleasant and down to earth, as is the rest of the staff. If you are looking for a unique statement piece for your home, this is the place to go. New container shipments come in regularly, so pop in on a regular basis.

Via Diva is a "gem" of a furniture store in San Rafael. It is unique and sells hand-crafted furniture from Southeast Asia. I was introduced to this store by a friend and I have bought several unique and good quality furniture items. I could spend a lot of time browsing through this store and learning about the artisans who hand-made these beautiful pieces. The owner is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend this store.

Via Diva is just a fantastic furniture store stocked with very unique pieces and tons of raw, weathered wood that can be made into custom pieces to suit your exact needs. Lou, the owner, is a real pleasure to work with and helped us build a custom teak table that is far better than anything we had seen elsewhere. We have also found an exceptional driftwood bench, large teak hutch and several pieces of burl wood through Lou. Definitely worth the visit!

If you are looking for unique wood pieces with a Balinese flair (tables, consoles, beds etc) Via Diva is the place to go! They also have a great selection of doors that can be used for headboard or sliding "barn" doors. The owners were fabulous and gave me lots of advice on how to create a sliding door for a room I want to block off, they went over and above for someone who was clearly not buying that day. Stop by to find that unique piece or just to get some inspiration.

This store hosts an amazing selection of furniture, some old, some new. All unique. Check this place out. You won't regret it. Great artistry. Ten showed me around, and I really enjoyed talking with her about the pieces and their origin. Brilliant selection.

Coolest furniture store in the whole Bay Area - by far! They have such unique pieces that you just don't find anywhere else. It's definitely not your typical Asian furniture store! Over the past 12 months, I must have gone to Via Diva at least 8 times and every time they had new furniture pieces - a huge selection! Their prices are very reasonable too!

The owner and his wife are the nicest people and not pushy at all. My husband and I have bought several furniture pieces from Via Diva (dining table, bench, chairs, coffee table, sideboard) and every time we have guests coming to our house, they are blown away by our furniture and immediately ask where we got it from. Via Diva even customized our dining table so that it would fit in our tight kitchen area. They are just awesome, can't say enough good things about them!

This store has a wonderful atmosphere - a place you can spend hours in just looking at all the unique Asian pieces on two floors. The inventory is replenished every three months and the pieces ranged from very traditional looking to vaguely modern, including a pair of low outdoor chairs, tables and stools in the back made out of solid, smooth wood on what looked like steel legs.

The owner was incredibly nice and, like others said, does not pressure people to buy anything. He even poured me a delicious cup of tea and let my 4-year old daughhter roam the store and hug all the buddah statues. We'll definitely be back.

This store has the most beautiful, unique, and awesome things in it. It's really like going to a museum. Why most people I tell about it haven't heard of it is a mystery. The prices are reasonable, they have great sales and the owner and people who work there are so nice and friendly and helpful with absolutely no pressure to buy. Treat yourself to a tour of this really great store. You won't be disappointed

As if you need another review bordering on paid-advertisement lingo to convince you about this place.yet this place is so cool I am uncontrollably compelled to add my $2 (".where's my TWO DOLLARS!") worth. The vibe here is so positive you'd think the blessings of a thousand Buddahs are nearby chilling and drinking tea. They have (and now me too) the baddest #$$ slabs of wood anywhere.

Giant antique wooden doors, Ganesh in abundance (go figure.), tables, beds, and onandonandon. They even have very cool jewelry. And it's all hand picked by the owner who travels overseas every few months so the selection is always unique. Super friendly and peaceful, no pressure, and always fun. Moderate to pricey but you won't find the stuff anywhere else

OMG! Who would of thought there was a unique furniture store in Marin. I have looked all over Marin for a fun, colorful, unique, interesting furniture store.found it. The style is Asian furniture from Indonesia, china, and Vietnam. Huge where house of items. The owner is very nice as well. I haven't bought anything yet so I can't give it 5 stars. I do plan on doing so in the very near future.

This place is awesome! Imported Vietnamese, Chinese, Indonesian, and other far east furniture. I love the carved Buddhas. Two stories of wall-to-wall wooden furniture and accents. Best kept secret in Marin for sure.

We could spend all our money at Via Diva (and almost have). If you are looking for antique (and some more recent) Asian furniture, this is the place. We have purchased several pieces here, including two statues and a Mongolian buffet that everyone who visits our home comments on. The staff and the owner are super friendly.we go in even when not shopping just to check stuff out and say hello.

They also have some killer sales from time to time, so if you see something you can't quite afford, check back or ask for a deal. It's also a great place just to window shop and be inspired by beautiful things all around you!

This is a great place to get authentic Asian antiques. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly! The selection is huge and they sell furniture and home decor from many countries in Asia. The staff really make it easy and fun to shop.
