Van Hill Furniture

We have made multiple furniture purchases at VanHill, the latest of which was for our new mattress. Dave was friendly and gave us a brief yet thorough education on what mattresses are widely available on the market today and the brand VanHill offers. He did not hover while we shopped but was easy to find when we had questions. We easily scheduled our free local delivery and are looking forward to good sleep to come!

Have purchased furniture at Van Hill's for several years and will continue to return. The staff are knowledgeable and professional. I worked w. Nicole for this transaction and her knowledge of inventory and location of specific items was a time & money saver. I'll be back the next time I'm looking for furniture.

What a relaxing and wonderful experience. Our sales associate was so professional and there was no pressure at all. We were able to take our time, find exactly what we wanted and he was close by to answer questions but never hovering. I highly recommend Van Hill!

My boyfriend and I just purchased furniture at Van Hill last week. Meghan was super helpful without being overbearing, and we found a few items I think we'll be really happy with. It hasn't been delivered yet because our place isn't quite ready, but I don't anticipate any problems. I appreciated that they marked the items that are in stock so I knew what NOT to fall in love with since furniture is taking a long time to come in right now and we needed something almost immediately. Their financing was crazy easy and more than fair. Would totally recommend.

We have been shopping for matching recliners. I had never been to Van Hill as I am from Northwest GR. WORTH THE DRIVE. We found exactly what we wanted IN STOCK on Saturday and it was delivered on Monday! Great service and selection!

I've been happy with Van Hills in the past, but this time I'm not getting any help. We ordered furniture in August, and was told it would probably be Spring before it came in. I was in 2 weeks ago and again last week just to see if they could check the status. Both times they took my # and said someone would call. I also emailed last week. No response at all! Any answer would be appreciated.

I came to Van Hill looking for furniture for my new home. Kris Wabeke greeted and showed me around the showroom. She was incredibly helpful without being overly pushy. Kris allowed me the time and space to make the best decision in my furniture choice. I highly recommend her and Van Hill furniture!

We had limited time purchased a sectional, and because of the supply chain issues it was even pushed back months. My wife and I had a great experience today at VanHill furniture. My mom had been telling me to check them as I was looking for a sectional sofa. Everything in the world right now seems to be on back order so it was refreshing to be able to see things in stock. Dave gave us a great experience and was extremely helpful with his suggestions and willingness to show us a variety of combinations and options!

We walked out of there with a beautiful sectional couch and an ottoman at a great price and am really grateful to be able to have our home furnished quickly. They make trips to Grand Rapids 4 days a week and we will be able to have the couch delivered this week which is really exciting! Thanks Dave, and the VanHill staff, for your service!

My kind of furniture store. Friendly helpful sales people. Very good, quality furniture.and more reasonable prices. I've bought several pieces over the very many years. I bought my very 1st bedroom suite.back in the 70s. They are a family business.and are a go to furniture store for me. They also have a clearance center.where you can find some really nice things at a lesser cost as well. They offer financing.so that's helpful too. In my opinion.this is the ONLY furniture store to shop at.

We are return customers to VanHill. I like that they aren't pushy at all. We were greeted when we came in and then left to look around for as long as we liked. When we were ready we found the associate that greeted us and she quickly answered questions and got our new sectional ordered.

This is a nice store with a good selection. We worked with Nicole, who provided great customer service throughout the whole process and was not pushy at all. No complaints there. Unfortunately I can't recommend this place unless you're willing to wait over 7 months to get your furniture. I was initially told it could 20-24 weeks (6 months), which was an insane turn time, even during a pandemic.

However we decided to move forward with the purchase. In the end it took more than 29 weeks to get it. We lived through 3 seasons waiting for a sectional! When I kindly asked the store manager (Chad) for some sort of discount he was completely unwilling to give me ANYTHING at all. He could have salvaged the situation by offering a 5-10% discount or even an in-store credit but was completely unwilling to do so.

My bad for paying in full up front. They already had my money. Lesson learned there. To make matters worse the delivery guys didn't cover the main piece of the sectional while stuffing it through the front door and consequently got a big grease stain on the cushion from the door hinge. I had to remove it myself with my own carpet cleaner. This could be a 5-star review if management offers the discount I asked for.

Our first trip to Van Hill and we were very impressed. Large variety of all furniture and no hounding sales people. Nicole was very helpful but still gave us space to wander around. She was there to assist when we had questions and she made our transaction painless.

Absolutely amazing experience! Rich was polite, patient & helpful. We were able to pick out two bedroom sets, two living room sets along with a beautiful painting. The prices were fabulous, & the showroom was set up very well. I HIGHLY recommend Van Hill Furniture & Mattress. I will definitely be back in the future for a dining set & a few other things- Rich you were fantastic to work with today. You can count on a repeat customer!
