Unique Arts

I've been using Patrick @ Unique Arts for a number of years. The quality of his framing and the level of service is great. I'd certainly recommend as a place to buy art and using as a framing service.

I had a brilliant experience with Unique Arts. I ordered a print out that was not available on the website and the team was able to print it and advise on the best size for it. The final effect in a custom made frame looked stunning. The communication with Unique Arts was great, super quick responses and lots of patience replying to my strain of questions. Aside from the custom made print one of the frames I ordered had a broken glass and I received a replacement without any trouble. Would highly recommend!

I've had 4 original paintings framed at this place, and I have found the guidance in choosing the rights frames for the pictures to be excellent. Both times I used this shop the pictures took a little longer to come back than I was originally told, but only by a few days, and the paintings look fantastic.

Unique Arts is a wonderful picture framers near the seafront in Hove. I have been using them for several years and Patrick, the manager, is always very attentive and efficient. He always helps me to select the right amount and frame. I recommend highly this picture framer to anyone wishing to use the service.

I had three pieces of art framed, but one was done very poorly and also took a couple of months to be completed, none of the pieces were complicated or large, two were smaller than A4 and the final piece was A4 size. I also had no communication regarding any expected delays and had to chase several times. The joining and glueing was very poor, there is a visible gap in the top left joint as well as visible glue marks.

The most upsetting thing was that the original drawing by one of my favourite artists (Chris Riddell) was not flush to the "glass" and so there are several bumps which has damaged the piece. I'm not a high earner so for me to purchase an original piece of art is a big deal, and I would expect a business like this to respect all the items they receive.

The other disappointing thing was that the letter of authenticity was cut unevenly and slapped on the back and was dog-eared as it hadn't been attached properly with tape to protect it. I sent several emails including pictures about this requesting a refund but was just ignored. I work full-time and due to numerous lockdowns I have not had the chance to go in in person, (although I expect I would get a similar response). I do not give bad reviews lightly, but in all honesty I would have been better off doing it myself. I took a video but unfortunately I can't upload this to the review.

Extremely pleased with all the extensive framing Unique Arts have done for me over the last few years, especially today when I collected a picture Patrick had made suggestions for, a rather 'unique' picture that needed special handling. Great result!

First time we have used Unique Arts to advise on private picture framing. They are artistic and knowledgable about what frames would suit the picture and in our case proposed a double sided frame to show the artist's signature on the back of the picture. The result was excellent!

I spotted a framed picture in the Unique Arts shop window in Hove last Sunday. We instantly loved it as it was by a local artist and was a picture of Brighton pavilion which is exactly what we were looking for. I ordered the picture on line and by Wednesday I was able to pick it up. The service in the shop was excellent, friendly and professional. My picture is mounted and framed to a high standard. Would definitely recommend having a look at Unique Arts as they have many more amazing art work available.

Outstanding work! My expectations were 10 and went to 20 the moment I saw the framing live!
