Went to look at SteelCase chairs for upgrading my work from home setup. Derrick was an outstanding help and answered all my questions. The show room was very nice with plenty of models and variations to try out. I had as much time as I wanted to try out the chairs, and there was no pressure to make a purchase. I'm still deciding which option to go with, but I could not be happier with the experience

Got a SteelCase desk chair from here. The ability to try out different aspects of the office environment (chairs, desks, conference tables) to select the one that's JUST RIGHT for your workspace is a fantastic draw. The staff is very friendly and the show floor is impressive. I will definitely be doing business with Storr again!

I got a great deal here on a used standing desk, and I am thrilled. Thank you for excellent service, Marisa. (Hint: she should be getting commissions)

I have worked with Daniel in the pre-owned furniture section to help me build out a small office area for three work stations. Daniel has been incredibly responsive and accommodating to all of my needs. I would highly recommend Storr and more specifically Daniel!

Storr Flooring = Amateur hour. This is a very condensed version of events but it is the truth and it was an absolute miserable experience. As a commercial GC with over 27 years of continuous operation in the industry, we hired Storr Flooring to remove and replace the existing rubber mats and provide and install approx. 4000 SF of new rubber roll flooring in a newly renovated crossfit gym in Raleigh, NC.

The sales and operations staff met onsite and where the existing conditions were verified and the gym owners expectations were communicated. The contract was approved and scheduled to commence in Aug. 2018. The initial installation seemed to go great, however, the weather got colder and a number of issues starting popping up. The rubber floor was not installed per manufacturers spec whatsoever.

The roll lengths were ordered wrong, the concrete floor was prepped wrong, floor leveler was installed over painted concrete, the wrong glue was used, some rolls were installed upside down, the seams weren't caulked, no expansion gap was left on the perimeter and tape shouldn't have been left over the seams for more than 24 hrs. After reaching out to Storr and explaining that my client was not willing to accept a faulty installation that they were to pay over $30k for, they were insistent that nothing was wrong and this was somehow "normal".

Only after I documented everything with pictures and referenced all of the manufacturers recommendations and threatened a lawsuit did they capitulate and decide to warranty the product and installation. The warranty re-installation was scheduled to proceed on 12/22/18 but after Storr's 2nd tier installer failed to show up, a back up 2nd tier installer was located and would start the following day.

After assuring us everything would be OK, the installers again tried to abandon the manufacturers recommendations and just basically do whatever they wanted. We had to be there everyday to make sure time after time that things got done right. At one point myself and my employees had to perform the prep work and cleaning to meet the deadline set by our client.

Then when we back-charged Storr for the labor and materials that were used to complete their work, Storr had the nerve to say they were going to sue us for incomplete payment! There is plenty more drama and misery to go with this story. In my opinion, if you have anything more complicated than sheet vinyl, find another flooring company - preferably one that actually employs the people that will be installing the product.

Terrible customer service, account rep., never returns calls or promptly responds to emails and furniture not delivered on time. Good looking furniture, that is all you will find here. Shop elsewhere!

Delivery hours to this place are absolutely ridiculous. Supposedly 8:00am to 12:00noon First of all from 8:00am till about 9:00am everyone is telling stories and trying to get there local trucks out on the road. So the 8:00am is never going to happen for receiving since the absolutely have no dock open. The point is absolutely they have to work on those hours of operation for the drivers that are bringing freight to this million dollar company.

Most of there freight is coming from out of state and is in LTL trucks that might have other customers besides themselves. Rememver everyone is running an electronic log book that can not be cheated and cause a customer like you that don't receive your own merchandise in timely regular hours of business, driver like me has to suffer. There are no truck stops around so basically if I get there at after 12:00 I have to wait for the next day to unload.

I find it very inhuman when your employees at the end of there shift go home and us the outside drivers that brings them work have to be at there mercy. Please do not set appointments for the LTL carriers. Thank you and hope for a better hours of receiving.

I worked with Caitlin Crook who was extremely responsive, patient, and really tried to figure out my office's needs. I ended up going with another vendor (due to cost), but I recommend Caitlin and Storr very highly. Also their used furniture selection is fantastic and turns over quickly!

Great place to work.as long as you work inside the building. Field workers are demanded to work overtime. They seem to forget that overtime is optional - however if you are OK with that 80 hours a week is what you're going to get as an installer/laborer. They equate employment to ownership and have a problem if you want a life outside of this job.

The customer service at this showroom is second to none. They arranged the whole display around us, answered all of our questions, and offered budgeting options that competitors never offer. We were highly impressed with the level of service and the quality of their products.
