We offer Amish made dining room furniture that is handcrafted in several local wood shops including American Heirlooms, Lancaster Legacy, and Eden Craft. You have the option to custom design and special order a handcrafted Amish dining set or purchase one of our 30 plus floor models. We can assist in color coordination and room layout planning.

Jason, the salesman was very helpful, very friendly and personable. We went to Snyder's knowing what we wanted. He pointed us in the right direction and then left us alone, which we really appreciated. When we did have questions, Jason answered them quickly and completely. The web site was also very good, easy to use and accurate (some items on web site were not displayed in store). We highly recommend Snyder's and are looking forward to our furniture being delivered in a few months.

I loved working with Eileen & Pete! They were very patient with me & my specific (crazy) needs for a small NYC apartment. Pete kept me laughing while figuring this all out. I had been working with another larger company (who shall not be named). They are very nice but, when they failed to communicate with me, I started looking elsewhere and found Snyders.

They are a smaller family business that is actually located near the Amish builders. I loved the fact that, if necessary, they could swing by the builder (who does not have a phone) if there was a problem. I feel very lucky to have found them. I will update after I receive my custom built coffee table.

This was the worst experience trying to get my chairs from them. Put a deposit down on our chairs on Labor Day. At the time they promised free delivery, and final payment at delivery. 6 months layer they call that they finally have the chairs and they are the wrong color. Harassed us to take them anyway. When we refused were mad that they needed to reorder them.

The correct ones finally come in, and now they won't deliver until we make the final payment. They would continue to argue with us that they will not deliver without the final payment. They they didn't care what we were told at the time of the sale. My husband had to actually go back to the store to pick them up. Worst customer service ever. I will never shop there again, and highly recommend for everyone to shop elsewhere. There are plenty of Amish furniture shops that will treat their customers with respect, and keep their word.

We ordered a sofa 8/27/2021 with a down payment of $1,400. We were initially told the piece would not be completed until at least January. We heard nothing from Snyders so we called mid-January and were told the sofa would not be ready until February. We called in mid February to check the status and were told the piece was finished. We got an email with the balance which we paid the next day.

A week later after not hearing from Snyders we called to inquire about delivery. They validated that the piece was done and the bill was paid. They asked what days were best for delivery and stated we would hear back in 4-5 days which did not happen. We called again today after we heard nothing and were told that the delivery should be within 14 days although there was no certainty where the couch is currently.

This is just unacceptable customer service. We fully understood that in the pandemic the process would take longer to get the sofa made but the lack of communication from the business is infuriating. No one seems to have an answer about this piece of furniture and where it is located not to mention when it will ever be delivered. We cannot recommend buying from this business and will not personally shop there again.

Please note the response from Snyder's. It is the very same response they send to anyone who writes an unfavorable review. They truly must not be aware of the number of times we have reached out for resolution to this problem. Again, very poor customer service.

I ordered a bed on May 31, 2021. I was aware of the long timelines 28-32 weeks and have requested a status with customer service mid November (almost 6 months later). I was told good news the bed is being built now in December. Then December comes and goes, and I call because the communication from Snyder's is no existent as others have pointed out in reviews.

Now it will be finished first week in Feb. End of Feb comes and I have confirmation its March 8th they are finishing it up and pickup is March 10th from the delivery service. March 21st I call customer service asking when delivery will occur and they don't know if it was actually finished, but they will call me back right away (thanks Dennis). March 22nd call again and nobody is aware of the status but don't worry we will call you back in the next 2 hours, and once again no update or return call.

The sales service was great. I understand pandemic delays and supply chain issues. I do not understand how you cannot return phone calls, provide updates, or know where your orders are in the process.

We were looking for a fairly unique piece of furniture and we finally found just what we needed at Snyder's. Pete, the store manager, offered helpful advice and helped us tremendously in arriving at our final selection. We will definitely be repeat customers the next time we have a need for furniture. Excellent product, excellent service.

As I entered the store, I was barely greeted.someone walking away said, "Hi". I approach and ask a salesperson for help, although several of them were standing around doing nothing. The Salesman stapled his card onto a brochure and handed it to me. I asked, "Are the prices listed here?" He replied, "No, just call me if you see anything you like." He didn't bother telling me a thing about the store, the merchandise, or even ask what I wanted, or if I was looking for other furniture, nothing!

What lousy customer service! UPDATE: Thanks to the management for reaching out online, but with so much furniture competition in the area, I'll spend my money where I'm treated better.

First, the bed is very beautiful and I am very satisfied with the quality and craftsmanship. That said, I would recommend you think twice if you are buying outside of Snyder's delivery range. I ordered my bed on 6/21 and it was finished on 12/21 (a long time, but it was made by hand and Covid has created delays in materials). That said, I was initially told to expect it to be done in mid-November.

The company Snyder's contracted to ship it out of state was terrible (ftlus.com). I called them three times and emailed twice with no response as I waited and waited to find out when my bed would be delivered. Contacting Snyder's (3 times) was not helpful either. Then, the shipper finally called on 2/9 (nearly 60 days after it was completed) to say it would arrive on the next day. This lack of communication was so terrible I thought I was the victim of fraud.

Sales team was great! Lead time for our King bed is really long. 10 Months. Hopefully they can stick to that time frame. But that is actually out of there control.

Very expensive furniture and Snyder's doesn't stand behind their workmanship. Absolutely do not buy from them. We purchased a kitchen table and chair set, we sneeze and the table scratches and we're told the top of the table is like the hood of a car, your wouldn't slide a dish across the car, don't slide dishes across the table. Customer service was horrible, when I called about the issue everyone was blamed but them.

The bench that came with the table has 2 bubbles in it, they refuse to fix even though they claim it's lifetime warranty against defects as long as we purchased and remain owners of the furniture. My 6 year old son did his homework at the table and his name is now engraved in the top of the table and they claim it's hard wood and durable. I have purchased tables from discount furniture stores that withstand normal use, this expensive furniture is junk and is not makes to withstand being used by a family!

No way would I give them any money or business. below is the email from their Sales Manager, Eileen: I spoke with the manufacturer ( he is the one who decides what will be done) He explained it like this - We have a durable catalyzed conversion varnish finish. Just like the paint job on your car - you wouldn't slide a dish/mug across the hood or dry dust.

Treat the finish on your furniture the same way. Not to mention we didn't slide any dishes on the table, the table was scratched from board games and homework. This business is only about taking your money and not standing behind the product they sell.
