Designing and making furniture is my occupation, but more than that it is my art form. The majority of my work will exist much longer than me, and speak to more people. This is why I am so careful about what my designs express. You won't see my furnishings in a furniture store and may not find them through your decorator because I sell directly through my showroom in Amissville, Virginia and via the internet.

Over many years the owner of this beautiful historic home in western Virginia has been a true patron of my work. Almost all of the woodwork and furniture you will see in this slide show has been designed by me and created in my shop. Having the freedom to design and craft for this space has been a huge encouragement to me in my pursuit of appropriate design originality.
