I went to HFPB to shop for mattresses and had such a great experience with the Sales Associate Jodie Strayhorn that even though i decided against the mattresses i purchased some other home furnishings that i wanted. Great Showroom, great selection, great prices, and especially great people!

Was looking for a new mattress and stopped by Home Furniture in Nederland. Blaine greeted me as I walked in and I told him what I was looking for. He was helpful and professional. We found one, it was in stock, he wrote it up, set up a delivery time and I paid for it. Easy transaction. Friendly and informative cashier. (Sorry, I didn't get her name).

The delivery was excellent too. They called and said they were 10 minutes away, they arrived on time, fast, professional and friendly. Would definitely do business with them again.

April 2016, my husband and I purchased a brand new couch and ottoman. We also purchased the warranty and we were told by the salesmen that the warranty would cover ANYTHING that happened to the couch. In July we returned to Home Furniture and purchased a bed for our daughter again purchasing the mattress warranty. When our house flooded August 13th we received over 5 feet of water in our home.

We lost every piece of furniture we own. When I called Home furniture to see if I could replace my couch and bed with their warranties, I was told that none of it was covered under natural disaster. Living in South Louisiana, this information is imperative to know when purchasing a warranty that doesn't cover our all too familiar natural disasters.

What is so sad for Home Furniture is we have to replace every piece of furniture in our home once it is built. They have lost all of our business because they made the choice to lie to their customers and sell a bogus warranty. I will never buy from them again and will share my experience with everyone who I know is in the market for new furniture. Baton Rouge do not be deceived by their commercial stating they want to help in rebuilding Louisiana. They only want to make money off of vulnerable customers in a time of need.

I've purchased plenty of furniture from home furniture and I have never been more disappointed. I originally was helped by Jason Cartier- who is great! Jason was very nice and took the time to help me. I liked that he was honest and worked to get me the best possible deal for a clearance sofa. I decided before buying that I would check out the surrounding stores to see other options.

I returned 2 hours laters and understandably Jason had left for the day due to working over time. I would recommend Jason Cartier to anyone and if my experience were just based on him I would give home furniture 5 stars. When I returned I was serviced by Kyle Noel who is a liar and needs to stop conning people for a sale especially when people have lost everything during a horrible flood. Kyle Noel sold me a 5 year warranty stating that it covered everything he kept emphasizing that at least 4 times (I recorded the conversation) based on that info I decided to finish the sale of sofa with a non refundable 5year warranty.

I was then left with the cashier. As I was about to pay the receptionist next to me was on the phone answering questions and said the warranty does not cover water damage I'm sorry if you thought the warranty did- the seller was probably mistaken when they sold you it. I then told the cashier that Kyle literally just told me that the warranty covered everything.

She tells me that Kyle tells people that to close the sale but that the warranty does not cover that and she has heard him tell multiple people that knowing that it does not cover everything. I'm very annoyed at this point. Kyle happened to be walking back up so I stop him and asked what does the warranty cover- he states in front of me and the cashier Everything.

I go everything even flooding? He then gets nervous and says well not flooding. So I go well wouldn't that be apart of everything maybe you should stop making such a general statement and be more specific because it's very deceiving. Kyle shrugs his shoulders and proceeded to walk off. Now what butters my biscuit is the fact that so many people are being lied to for a damn sale after experiencing this horrible flood.

Not everyone has experience buying furniture and understanding what is covered by warranties and Kyle Noel is knowingly taking advantage by lying. If the sofa hadn't been clearance and I would have known Kyle Noel would be getting half the commission for nothing I would have canceled the sale. Pathetic Crummy Lying salesman Kyle Noel needs to be avoided if you are shopping at home furniture. Once again I would recommend Jason Cartier- very nice person

I purchased a new sofa set from the Home Furniture by the Mall of Louisiana. The salesman was very welcoming but he also let me browse without crowding me. I set up delivery for the next week. The delivery men were prompt and very professional. I will definitely purchase furniture from Home Furniture in the future!
