Blair was amazing to work with. He was patient and really knows their inventory. He was able to tell us prices, colors, sizes and styles about everything we inquired about. The store has more options than any store we visited while searching for office furniture.

We took delivery of 4 large Beautiful maple bookcases with file drawers today and we are thrilled with the Quality and how Classy they are with their crown molding! I'd say my experience with Podany's has been positive all around. I bought a chair from them about 2 years ago now. The sales guy listened to what my needs, wants and budget were and didn't try to over-sell me. I ended up with a nice sturdy chair. Whenever I sit my my wife's office Depot chair I'm reminded how much better the quality of mine is. However, a couple months ago my chair started dropping randomly.

So I brought it in. Without hesitation or question they replaced the cylinder/strut/piston.whatever you call it. The problem persisted. I brought it back again and instead of moaning that I was back wasting their time trying to fix one of their cheaper chairs they went to work fixing it again without hesitation. Eventually they replaced the strut and the base mechanism and so far it's been working just fine. You probably wouldn't get that level of support from a big box store 2 years after the purchase.

I am former customer. Purchased several office sets few years ago, last one being office table purchased about 4 years ago. Back then place had it all: selection, inventory, support, decent pricing, quick effective delivery and assembly. Today, regretfully, most of it is gone ( except for delivery, as it didn't come to that ). In addition, place refuses to adhere to the law and allow mask exception.

As a result, you either have to risk your life or no show room access for you. As much as I hate it, it is time to shop online and else where, site unseen. Very, very sad I. Not a one star because they do have somewhat decent inventory on hand and in a show room compared to other furniture dealers in TC.

I've passed by Podany's for years and never given them much thought until I needed a standing desk and I couldn't find them anywhere else in the Twin Cities due to Covid19 / Quarantine. I went into the showroom and worked with a sales person to determine which standing desk would be ideal for me. The sales and pickup process was relatively easy and I was able to bring my desk home fully assembled and working which is so nice because I hate assembling office furniture.

The only thing I found unprofessional was when I handed the sales person the $100 off coupon I had printed out from their website. They took $100 off the total with the tax included and the receipt shows I paid full price for the item. This is problematic for a couple of reasons. 1. I paid MN Sales Tax on $700 not $600 and 2. because the invoice does not show the discount with the discounted price but instead it shows the full price, if I needed to return the desk or for taxes purposes, the amount isn't correct.

Both of these scenarios work to my advantage but that's not the point. It makes me a little nervous because if they mishandle something like receipts and sales tax, what else are they mishandling? Maybe it's just a clerical error / oversight but I want to share my entire thoughts on my experience with Podany's. Would I return? I probably would. So far it's been a positive experience overall. Skip OfficeMax/Depot for office supplies, this is where you need to go for chairs, desks, etc. Great staff who are very helpful and knowledgeable. I got a new ergonomic desk chair there today. Love it! Plus, a great price!

Went to Podany's looking for an ergonomic office chair to relieve back pain from sitting 6-10 hours each day. Blair was very helpful in selecting a chair to meet my needs and show me how to operate all of the features. Found the right chair and decided to take one in an obsolete fabric/color to save a little off the standard price. VERY happy with the service received and product so far. Checked out a few other office furniture providers and received little to no help in finding a suitable product. Time is money folks, if you need a good product and professional service I recommend going to Podany's for your office furniture needs. Selection is also excellent!

Ordered office furniture and was told 2-3 week delivery. I was originally dealing with a very nice, client-focused, communicative sales person. After I ordered and reached out for delivery date I was told 6 weeks and a delay on top of that. I expressed frustration but Podany's didn't apologize or try to help in any way. After numerous emails back and forth I finally called and was told our original salesperson didn't work there any more.

Now I am dealing with the Owner, David, who is unsympathetic, horrible communicator and downright rude. Podany's has been unable to clarify exactly how long the installation of the furniture will take and has absolutely no sympathy for the fact that these delays will now cause employees to have no work space while they await installation. I was told installation would take 2 days but now I am told it "could" take 3 days.

The only explanation I was offered is "there are many unknowns in delivery and installation" Funny, none of our other vendors struggled with "unknowns". Isn't it the vendor's business to manage the process so the client gets answers? NEVER AGAIN

In a time when so many businesses do not rise to the set forth level of expectations and service, Podany's is just the opposite of that. I worked with Blair initially about five years ago to order a custom desk system for my home office. About a year ago I started noticing the edge banding on the white desk unit turning yellow. Since I was about five years out from the initial date of purchase, I thought I would be in for an unpleasant experience in correcting this defect.

I reached out to Blair, we chatted, and I sent photos. After a few weeks of back and forth communication, I learned that although the manufacturer was not initially interested in correcting this issue, both Blair and the owner, Mr. Podany, persisted and pushed back on the manufacturer to make this situation right. Within weeks, I had a brand-new WHOLE desk unit at my door.

The Podany's guys came in, broke the old desk unit apart, and installed the new unit and I didn't have to do anything. I'm still in shock at how effortless and positive this experience happened. I was fully prepared for an unpleasant interaction where I would be forced to defend my position in why the desk needed to be fixed or replaced. To my surprise, both Blair and Mr. Podany did the absolute right thing and corrected the issue.

This is a prime example of a company that stands behind it customers AND it's products. I could not be happier with how this issue was resolved and how I was treated. Thank you, Blair and Mr. Podany. You have a lifelong customer in me.
