Much to the dismay of hundreds of customers, this auction house closed a couple years ago. Have not been able to find another auction house with comparable high quality items at true auction prices. Would love to see them open again.

This Palm City Auction experience as a buyer was so much fun. I came before the auction to preview the items up for sale that evening and they were all lined up for easy viewing and very organized. When it was time to start the bidding started promptly at 5:30pm and there were hundred of items sold while I watched the professional auctioneer make this perfectly orchestrated auction look easy.

The variety of items to purchase was excellent and I saw everything from a designer golf-cart to bronze statues and collectible porcelains, signs, furniture, artwork, glassware and household items. It was fun and I'll be back for more. It's a great activity for a Wednesday evening and they start at 5:30pm but to get a seat you need to get there earlier. We found a seafood restaurant nearby and made a whole evening out of this.

Hours wasted watching them sell junk. Not enough chairs, no enforcement of people reserving chairs. Constant cigarette smoke. Rip off food prices. Couldn't leave because rude people parked in front of our vehicle. How many purses can you sell that are worthless while you have things people actually want to buy? I would not recommend this place unless you resale other peoples junk.

This is a great group of people. Chris and his crew were very polite and helpful. They moved things that I didn't even think could be moved. I highly recommend them if you need to get rid of anything. Looked like over 200 people showed up to the auction on our night.

BEWARE OF THIS AUCTION HOUSE! In August, 2017, we took a van load of items to Palm City Auction, to be included in their next auction. We were told that the they were going on vacation, and that our things would be stored in the corner of their 'warehouse' until the next auction. I was surprised at a comment made at the time and after only looking in one box while being unloaded. 'I'm only taking this stuff because I want the good stuff later.' Well, the stuff to which he was referring were wonderful smalls, having closed down two booths in an antique mall soon before.

I have been in the antique business many years, having had several shops and going to the U.K to fill containers and to search for the unusual. Granted, the things left with them, were not your usual 'high-end', but nice none-the-less. To make a long story, short. We got a call from the auction house the next day after the auction, telling us that the antique, cane bottom, ladder back chairs did not sell.

I then told the office person who called, that we would pick them up the same week. We drove over an hour to do that, to find that they only had five of the six chairs. The story that we got, was that the thrift store had picked up the missing chair. We drove to the thrift store to reclaim the chair, only to be told, that no such thing had happened!

While sitting in the parking lot of the thrift store, we call the auction house and told them of this. The lady answering the phone, was extremely rude, saying 'Well, they didn't sell, so they couldn't have been worth much, then promptly hung up on my husband.' We then drove back to the auction house to hunt for the chair, which was not there.

But what was there, were some of the items we had left for the auction, sitting in the back room.? They never made it to auction. Upon receiving the listing of things 'sold' there were two box lots, one for $10.00, one for $8.00. I have been around antiques all of my life. I know the value of things, as well as the cyclical values that have taken place over time.

I am an honest person, thus this soon become an ethical issue for me rather than financial. There is more to the story, but suffice it to say, we should have heeded the warning others had given us about this Auction House. I tend to be a trusting person, but this particular situation reminded me, that not all people in this world are trustworthy! Please know that what I have just written is true and factual!

This used to be a much better run business but has recently gone downhill. Be careful if you decide to do business with them.

**Absolutely Delighted** Can we say professionalism in every detail? Yes, that's exactly what you find at the Palm City Auction. From the moment you walk in you are warmly greeted, any questions you have pertaining to an auction item are answered in detail. These people do their research! I went to numerous auctions here and always found something with excellent craftsmanship in immaculate condition.

The down to earth personalities of Helen and Steve were the sole reason I decided to auction my car here. It was a no-nonsense transaction and I received more than I anticipated. Helen was in contact with me every step of the way while I was out of town for the sale. I'm extremely satisfied with the Palm City Auction and recommend it for everyone! Thanks guys, I will be back!

This place does a great job! The staff is very friendly and professional! It is always funny to see people complain about what they got for their items and I can tell you that working in a consignment store people always think they should get top dollar for their items. You can only get what someone is willing to pay. It is like an estate sale but you don't have to do the work. This auction is way better than any other around!

When their men came to pick up numerous antique pieces from my home they broke some of my personal items by kicking them down and causing a domino effect. Two of the items are irreplaceable (a beautiful ceramic umbrella stand and a statue, both my late husband's acquisitions). They also broke the glass in two large pictures. I went to the office and asked if they could please pay for the glass replacement, never even mentioning the loss of my other valuables.

The woman in the office said she'd check and get back to me but never did. When I called again she told me "no".they had decided it was an accident. I told them it was absolutely the fault of the mover but they didn't seem to care about my version of events. They made a great deal of money off what I gave them to sell and this is how I was treated.

For just over $100 to replace the glass, they proved that they are greedy and lacking character. These people will make money from the items you give them, but they don't care about you, the customer, who puts the money in their deep pockets! Totally lack of integrity.

Couldn't be happier. Honest, hard working family. They promote very well and get huge crowds attending each auction to buy what's there that session. I could sell my stuff at shows or flea markets and maybe get more money, but I'd rather not have the expense, packing and unpacking and time invested. You also can get rained on or rained out. Palm city is a GREAT place to liquidate items.

Some people complain that they didn't get enough money for their items. Don't blame the auction, the item wasn't worth what they thought. They probably thought (or wished) for more money, but the buyers bid based on market value. I wouldn't hesitate giving Palm City, antiques, collectibles and furniture as I am always happy with the results.

I had a terrible experience consigning a great deal of merchandise to Palm City Auction in Florida. I am very disappointed how they handled the auctioning of these items. If I knew they were going to sell them the way they did I totally would not have sent anything to them. There was no care or research done on the items I sent. I could have gone and set up at a flea market and made more money.

Box lots of signed prints and paintings should not go for $15.00. The frames were worth more. If I had sold them for $10.00 a piece I would have made four thousand dollars. A signed Leroy Neiman should go for more than 90 bucks. I wish they had been more up front and said that art goes for nothing at their auctions. It wasn't just the art that was terrible.

Everything I sent went insanely cheap. I asked your pick up people if they thought these items would do well, and they said yes. $90.00 for a life size carved wood statue is not even close to good. Next time somebody wants to consign stuff like this to Palm City Auction they should think twice. All of the glass and many pieces of art were put in boxes on the floor like they were garbage.

There was Tiffany glass in some of those boxes and it was not even mentioned when you were auctioning it. I could have made a ton more money on Ebay and once again would not have sent anything if I had known how they were planning on selling it. I feel totally disgusted and ripped off with the way they did things. I am beyond displeased. I will never recommend your services, and urge others not to consign with you.
