This is why you BUY on Amazon! The idea of "buying local" sounds great but when local businesses will not provide comparable customer service to Amazon than like me now, we won't even try local! Just buy it on Amazon. Delivery from Modern Office arrived very poorly packaged. The kind of cardboard that feels more like a stiff paper towel. The product has a crack in the cheap plastic. Went to Modern Office's website and not one thing about how to handle a return!
I emailed the customer service and asked for an RMA # and steps to return, they came back and said not until I provided photos of the damage. I asked again as I do not know how to send photos over the internet. No reply, no response! So I had to have my daughter come over after her work to take photos and to show me where to post these reviews to warn others! Buy on Amazon!

I had a problem with my 24-hour office chair. I called customer service and talk to a lovely lady named Laura Pierce who was most helpful. She explained what I needed to do so they could figure out what the problem was and I sent the pictures and video twice second set of videos were better pictures in the first one. They were able to solve the problem it was a gas cylinder and sent me out immediately knew gas cylinder with directions or how to replace it.
I did have problems with the cylinder coming out of the bottom of the seat, email or the problem that I was having and immediately got back to me told me a new mechanism was on the way to me and it solved all my problems. Laura was very professional and eager to help me with my problem in the solve it. I'm so happy with the customer service and the company that stands behind their products that is so hard to find anymore. My next office furniture no matter what it is coming from this company.

This company has the fastest shipping I have ever experienced. My order came in less than 24 hours. The chairs were comfortable and durable. We did have one issue with a part and Modern Office Furniture sent a new part promptly. Customer service is very responsive. I recently had an amazing customer service experience with Ethan Erickson. Our office had a need to order an extension to the current custom L-desk we have from Modern Office Furniture and Ethan was quick to respond along the way. In the end we did not move forward with our order (due to internal logistics), but Ethan's assistance in answering all of my questions--even when a final order was not placed--was great appreciated. I am very satisfied with the customer care service, the quality and appearance of the L-shape Peninsula Workstation! There is ample storage and drawer space! I received two pallets of boxes with components and wished the manufacturer included assembly instructions. Installation requires more than two experienced adults to assemble components. Once completed, it is a great workstation.
