Modern Modular Installation

Came in looking for some office chairs. I had no idea what I was looking for. Joe and Rachel were great help in finding me what would fit best.

This place is great! If your looking for a great deal and great customer service I would recommend coming here. The owner is very helpful, they have a wide variety of office furniture and I got the best price I could find by hundreds of dollars after diligently looking for 2 weeks. No pushy sales people and not a showroom like atmosphere. If you don't see what you want ask! They will help you in whatever way they can. -AirTelligence

I was looking for a used Herman Miller Mirra 2 through OfferUp and having a hard time coordinating with another seller. There were postings for Mirras from Modern Modular and they have a used furniture warehouse. I like to look over possible purchases. Misty Morgan (very pleasant and helpful) showed me a Mirra 2 and adjusted it so I could decide if it would work for me, but it was a no pressure visit.

Any questions were answered, and I was free to look around the merchandise and mull things over, a mandatory part of my decision making process. The chair condition is seriously showroom new, and I am picky. Arm rests are perfect, base has no scuff marks. Someone must have cancelled an order. I got the chair for $300. For the same config, on Herman Miller's site, list was over $1300 list. And a six week wait. MM requires cash for used chairs, and the sign says no returns, but for me that is a worthwhile tradeoff.

The young lady over the phone was extremely helpful to get us started. Once we got to the "warehouse"/ junkyard. The older over weight man seemed to not want our business with our custom order that we were asked to set up once we visit their warehouse. The old man got upset because we didn't want his dusty furniture he buys off of offer up and Craigslist. Overall the lady was just as surprised as we were with his reaction so we decided to leave. Just a heads up.

I bought office furniture from Modern Modular for our expansion into the El Paso, Texas office, which included five offices, reception area, and a conference room. I paid an excellent price, the price included the delivery from Phoenix to El Paso and the installation. The delivery and installation was completed in one day. The cost of the furniture, the delivery, and the installation was excellent! I saved much $$$$! The quality of the furniture was excellent! For your office furniture needs, I highly recommend Modern Modular!

I've been told I'm a "demanding customer" on quite a few occasions - and Joe and his staff delivered! Everything was on time (actually it was available early) and the installation went smoothly. I would definitely use them for future furniture needs!

Great selection and prices of used and refurbished office furniture. They helped me find everything I needed for a new start-up office space. They were able to paint and create custom desks and cabinets to suit our needs and style.

Catherine was incredibly kind and helpful during my search for office furniture. She was amazingly willing to find what worked best for me not just try to sell me whatever they needed to get rid of (has happened in other liquidator places). She listened to my concerns and what my needs were before offering solutions that matched. The pricing was comparable but will go back due to the service provided. Would rather do business with someone who I like and cares than someone who I know could care less about what I really need.

Absolutely not! The people here are so rude! You don't just swear at new customers and expect them to buy your "high quality" furniture. Came here for new desks but they are completely outdated and my current desk now is of better quality. Never shopping here!

I was shopping for a Steelcase Leap office chair and almost paid a LOT more for retail when I found that this place had a ton of them in stock (used). I wouldn't normally buy an office chair used, but I was easily able to find one at Modern Modular that looked & felt new for less than 1/3 the price of the new one. They had all been steam cleaned and the cushions were wrapped in plastic.

After finding one I liked, they unwrapped it for me. I dealt with a girl there, I don't remember her name, but she was patient while I inspected and tried out the chair. She was knowledgeable about the furniture and easy to deal with. I waited a few months to post this after the purchase in case anything went wrong with the chair, but it's still working perfectly!

The 5th star would've been if the place was a little more tidy. I'm sure it's on par (or better) with a lot of the used office furniture places in south PHX in that respect and the price was right. Thanks!

Very helpful and creative staff. Modern Modular helped design and layout our 10 cubes. Providing suggestions and examples along the way. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again if we had a need for quality used furniture at a fair price.
