Been shopping here for many years but had a really bad experience today. I bought a $300 peg Perego high chair 2 weeks ago and the letters peeled off. Went in to Liapela to return the chair and they accused me of having peeled it myself and told me I had to deal directly with Peg Perego. Won't buy again at this place.

Had a terrible experience with customer service here. Ladies ignored my husband and I. I had visited the store previously and loved the yoyo stroller. I brought him so he could have a look and possibly purchase. Ladies turned lights off before 6pm as if we were a nuisance to their Sunday afternoon. Will never visit again.

First off this store is beautiful with so many wonderful brands! We got our Clek carseat and YoYo stroller here when I was still pregnant. They have wonderful customer service and we really love to support local, family owned businesses with our dollars. We next got an Oeuf bed and dresser for our son and we are so happy with what we have, that I said I would write a review =. Thank you Liapela!

My friend and I are two young teenage girls that are interested in all sorts of baby gear and products. We do this for fun. We went to Liapela (Merrick Park) because of their wide selection of baby gear and products. We wandered in and asked one of the employees if we could try out one of the strollers. She said we could but she seemed bothered and she stared at us for a while.

She then went to her coworker and began to laugh and make fun of us in Spanish, unfortunately my friend and I who speak Spanish were able to hear their mockery. My friend and I felt extremely uncomfortable and slightly offended. Mind you, my friend and I were doing no harm to these products, we were extremely careful. We fully understood the value of these products so we had no intention of ruining their products.

Then the other worker came up to us to see if we needed help. She then proceeded to ask if one of us was pregnant. After we told her we weren't she started laughing and saying we were too young. Overall, they have a great variety of products, it was the service that was disheartening.

Decent, well-curated store for high-end baby products. Friendly customer service. Just wish they had a bigger selection of items. The store is somewhat small and products limited.

New guy working was very nice but lacked the overall training needed to answer questions on strollers. Older hispanic woman who works there couldn't have been any less friendly. I feel like these types of stores are only patronized by people looking so great customer service vs shopping online or at a big box. Was very underwhelmed with their level of service.

This place has very cool items. Everything is very organized. I give it 3 stars because first when you walk on their greeting is not inviting is more like a what are you doing here. They stereotype and follow you around the store. I'll save the harassment and go to Amazon, It has the same items better priced.

Customer service here was definitely lacking. Then I was unnecessarily inconvenienced and had to call the Hallandale Beach location just to get someone who cared enough to help me resolve an issue that wasn't even my fault. The fact that I did leave with the Doona stroller and bag I've been adoring online and that the owner personally reached out to me with a sincere apology makes up for some of it. For that reason and their good selection of products I'd come back and give them another chance.

Wonderful staff, they were very helpful finding an animal head I need it fornmy new nursery and delivered it directly to my home. Great experience defenetly coming back!

Ordered a car seat online where it clearly said the item was in stock! Liapela called the next day saying it wasn't in stock and I'd have to wait a week. Finally a week later was called to be told they didn't have the color but another store did. They then E-mailed me to tell me it was a mistake instead of calling, which is beyond unprofessional. Wasted a week and a half for the product to have to order the car seat elsewhere and wait some more.

All while I have no car seat for my daughter, guess we're stuck at home! Clearly, they have no clue what items they have in stock or available or what they are even doing. hopefully they cancel my order like I requested!

Although they offer a grand variety of products, service is average, and less than you would expect for a Baby store. Returning an item was a hassle.

I had been to this story once before BUT LEFT RIGHT WAY do to lack custom services. Just like the review below R.S. I had bad experience with the sale team. However, I gave it other try as many of my friends told me they have great products. This time thank God BEATRIZ (older lady was working). She was extremely amazing, kind and knowledgeable with the items in the store.

I finally purchased I got stroller made Italy, unique baby hamper and beautiful rocking chair made Canada. And to my surprise prices were standard. Even got 10% off due to the stroller was the last one and was on the floor. They even have guy to help you put everything in your car. I will be coming back to support local store!

It is very sad to see that they have such a nice store at a great location but everything turns sour when you ask for help from a unknowledgeable, unwilling sales person. It is this latin speaking old man that did nothing but have a sxxt face. It is our first child and we don't know much about anything. So its natural to want to try the strollers, and get a feel.

He just stood there watching us struggle to operate the strollers and almost pushed us aside to put it back because he was afraid we would break it. Not to mention his comment about how indecisive we were because we kept looking at the different ones. It was the most uncomfortable shopping experience I've ever had. I became a yelper because I feel compelled to share my experience. Good luck with your business if you treat your customers like some type of disease. Go to genius jones instead. You'll be much better off.
