Services
Here at Larry's custom Furniture, we love to restore the life back into fine furniture and antiques. We help revamp the glory of the piece by adding new foam padding throughout the piece and replacing or retying the springs as well as reinforcing the wood structure. We also provide the option of restoring the wood by stripping and refinishing the piece to ensure the integrity of your prized antique.
No, you don't have to provide your own fabric. Choose from one of the thousands of fabric books we have to find the perfect match for your piece. If you choose a fabric from our choices we will provide up to 20% off of the fabric price. Although if you already have a fabric, feel free to bring it in and we will work with whatever material provided with.

AMAZING! Larry did a beautiful job building and installing custom wood valences to conceal motorized blinds for our home in Santa Monica. I gave Larry a sample and for a reasonable price he crafted 2 exact copies, including flawless paint application. He also did a perfect no-hassle installation which completed the finished look in our living room, kitchen and master bedroom.
I was unable to find anyone else who even wanted to do this job. I now can't imagine trusting anyone other than Larry with my quality home projects. Do yourself a favor and hire Larry immediately!

Larry's Custom Furniture did not disappoint. Westfield Fashion Square mall has worked with Larry's a few times and will continue to do so. They offer swatches for us to approve before committing to anything. They were always helpful in every way which allowed us to successfully get our desired look on our furniture reupholstery. I found Larry's upholstery online and after speaking with him and seeing some of his work, decided to move forward with my upholstery project for the formal and dinning room. I would like to give a five star on the upholstery job by Larry. He placed white pleated leathers on my 8 Italian dinning chairs. The work was very detailed and performed with care and precision.
Also my two sofas were upholstered with white leather and detailed stitching. It all turned brand new and beautiful. We have received so many compliments and love it. I would recommend him to anyone specially those with particular taste and Standards of quality.

Larry's did reupholstery and slipcovers for me on higher end used furniture I purchased in lieu of lower quality modern stuff I had no interest in. This was a Baker sofa, and 3 armchairs, along with my new dining room chairs that had the springs replaced and were slipcovered. The shop offers quality workmanship, attention to detail, and answered all my questions with no upsell or pressure and made specific price quotes. Larry explained what might work best for my needs, since I had just adopted a CAT (!) and was clueless about what type of fabric would be best for slipcovers that were washable and would last.
I myself did a deep dive into research, and shopped for my own fabric, knowing Larry's also had access to wholesale and designer fabrics at competitive prices. I must've asked Larry about five million questions. He was ever patient and taught me so much about furniture and what it takes to revamp your own pieces to suit your life and needs. He was highly recommended on my neighborhood Nextdoor website and I could not be happier to have his work in my home.
He does get busy and tries to deal with requests that can bombard him at times. So if you are not a patient person or are on a tight deadline, it's best to ask up front what the turnaround might be. He does a wide range of work for designers, longtime customers, realtors, celebs, and builds custom furniture as well. His prices are very fair and worth the quality you receive. There's a reason this family-owned business has a great reputation for stellar work and many returning customers.

Larry was recommended to my son by our custom furniture maker, Javier Campos. Larry and his team upholstered 10 Louis VI dining room chairs. I was impressed with the work--the chairs look amazing! We needed our family room sofas and asked Larry to bring us various samples. He gave us prices based on various grades. We like his work so much we didn't look elsewhere.
My wife and I went by to check on the work. The sofas were striped to the bare frame, so they could reconstruct (raise) the sofas--raising the frames 3 and adding new legs to show the sofas without skirts. Larry designed the sofas with double rows of nails, replaced the down cushions and made the sofas look like now! He has great taste in designing upholstered furniture. We have always had fine furniture. He ranks at the top of our list for quality and design! No one would go wrong with Larry doing the upholstery! He is the Best!
