Established in 1866 - one year after peace between the North and the South was restored - America held a wealth of natural resources, a burgeoning free-trade market, and a massive Western Frontier waiting to be developed. The Colies' opened a paper factory in the bustling Great Lakes port city of Buffalo, NY.

Our ability to custom build any piece of furniture is rooted in our principles of: vision, service, craftsmanship and sustainability. We are able to custom build any piece of furniture whether it is a new design inspired by you or an adaptation of a piece in our catalog. It all begins with a sketch on a piece of paper and a discussion with your designer or our factory.
Part of the Kittinger experience is working with your designer to customize your pieces to your exact needs. We take great pride in focusing on the details that matter to you and make every piece unique. Here are just some of the details you pick. Our finishes reflect pride and quality that has been passed from craftsman to craftsman for over 150 years.
Although you are able to order directly through the factory, we highly recommend you use a design professional due to the custom nature of our pieces. Below are the current showrooms we are present in. If you are not located near a showroom or working with a design professional please contact as us we are able to assist you directly.
We have had the honor of helping recreate the Oval Office and Cabinet Room several times over with our commissions for several Presidential Libraries. Through an eBay seller, we purchased a reproduction Colonial Williamsburg Table [CW 65-66 W 2 Leaves] that was manufactured by Kittinger decades ago. The table and leaves were in good, but not great shape, and the edge treatment ('distressed') was not our style. We contacted Kittinger and inquired as to their willingness to refinish the table and the leaves.

They offered to do this work at a very reasonable price, so I rented a trailer and brought the pieces to them from Ohio. [Ray Bialkowski, the owner, met me on a holiday weekend and gave me a tour of the factory!] The work was completed within four weeks and the results were amazing! Every scratch and gouge was gone, the finish looked like it just came out of the factory brand new, and the responsiveness of the entire staff was all one could ask for. If you love Kittinger furniture and have a high-value piece that you would like to restore to showroom condition - I recommend that you give Ray and his team a call!

I worked recently with the Kittinger Furniture Company to restore and reupholster two chairs Kittinger crafted several decades ago. I was very impressed and pleased with the finished result. Both chairs were expertly restored to my exact specifications. From my initial contact with the company to obtain a quote for restoration to the delivery men---everything about the transaction was problem-free and professional. I would recommend this company with no reservations.

Had a great experience at the factory floor sample sale this morning. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful as I made my purchase. My family and I will enjoy having a nice Kittinger dining table for the holidays. Will definitely go back in the future!
