We needed furniture quickly and the staff here worked hard to help us get exactly what we needed. Everyone was so incredibly helpful and did all they could to make it work. Highly recommend.

I ordered items in April with an expected delivery date in September. I understood the long wait time due to the pandemic. When my items finally arrived two weeks later than what I was first told, it appeared that someone made a mistake and ordered the wrong item. They first attempted to push the blame on me, the customer, saying that I ordered the wrong item.

After I showed my order and verified that what I ordered and what they ordered were different. They, then found they had my initial order in stock. I believe due to their mistakes, it caused me to wait even longer for my items. On previous phone calls to coordinate delivery, they mentioned having to special order one piece and that was the piece that was holding up the entire order. Therefore, my delivery was set until September, even though it appears they had all the items in stock.

Fast forward to today, I received an incomplete delivery, and now I will wait all the way into October to receive my items. Avoid ordering from this location at all costs. It shouldn't take 6 months to receive three couches that they obviously had in stocked the entire time. Update 9/27/2021: Owner's response below shows lack of concern to provide any kind of customer amends.

Instead of contacting me directly, he asks that I contact the same number again, which I've been doing for nearly 6 months. I have this number, I've talked to you all for far too long on so many separate days. He completely ignored the comment about his store INITIALLY BLAMING THE CUSTOMER FOR THEIR MISTAKE. This is the same thing I've heard for 6 months. What are you going to do to ensure this doesn't happen to others?

Joy's is my first destination when looking for a piece of furniture. There is a large selection of moderate priced furniture. The staff is helpful and will make suggestions of other places to investigate if they don't have what you are looking for.

Super disappointed in Joy's Furniture. Took 4 months just to get the furniture, then had two damaged pieces. Waited another 3 months to try and trade it out and then when we finally go to pick it up, was greated with rudeness and excuses why things were not ready. Would not recommend this place.

Was a very weird experience. Wasn't highly professional. The lady that was assisting me spoke badly about the owner and called the other employees lazy. We really wanted to try to buy our furniture locally to help buy local so we decided to look past the wonky sales lady. When we finally picked a dining table here we weren't allowed to buy just the table without also buying the ugly chairs they had with it.

We were told we would have to wait at least 8 weeks or more if we wanted to just purchase the table(obviously an upsale tactic.). So we left. Kind of silly to lose such an easy sale. I ended up researching the furniture they carry and found that American Furniture Warehouse sells the same stuff for almost half the cost.

Cat was so helpful. She took extra time just making sure everything we wanted was perfect. Even when we had to change the order at the last minute, she was so accommodating. Cat gave us just the right suggestions, no pressure, and made sure we left with the floor models because we couldn't wait for shipping. I'm really pleased. We got everything we needed. The only thing that would have made it a better experience, is if the employees wore masks. Thank you Cat!

Paid price upfront and 11 weeks later we got our couch, they leave our old couch outside and forget to haul it off. Call back and was told they are too slammed to come back for it. It has now been rained on and is ruined for anyone who could use it. I work during the hours the dump is open. Never felt like a priority after my money was spent, after the sale they simply don't treat you like a customer anymore.

Oh I was told 2-3 weeks. Their mentality is they got other customers so why take care of you? That mentality is fine while times are good. Hope they continue to do well, this is just a heads up of my 1 star experience. -Edit they followed up with a phone call and picked up our old couch they left, which saved my buddy a trip to the dump. Everything else stands but at least they followed through after seeing my negative review.

What a great place! We bought 2 recliners from them 5 years ago. One of the recliners recently broke. They looked at it and repaired it while we waited. Fabulous service and furniture selection at a fair price. We highly recommend them and we will be back.

Kathy is awesome! A few questions you need to ask yourself when buying a couch. Where am I using this couch? Theater room, living room, den, reading for long periods. Am I going to sit on it a lot? Do I want comfy-cozy, recliner rocker, Electric, manual, do I want leather or cloth. If I get it home and don't like it, do I want to pay the 20% restocking fee.

We got the Cave Warrior. I love the couch. I didn't ask myself 'all' those questions. The cave warrior is beautiful. It's not as comfy cozy soft to snuggle up in, with a partner, But it is an awesome TV watching couch. 24 hours later I'm still breaking it. I still need a pillow for my lumbar support. As this couch does not have enough lumbar support for me, to sit and read for long periods of time. No negatives about purchasing the couch, just some information.

Furniture is expensive! We have bought furniture there over the last 5-6 years. They always tell us to come back when they have sales but NEVER offer a good standing customer a deal. I asked to purchase a discontinued coffee table and end table set and they declined my offer and said come back on Labor Day. I shouldn't have to come back to get treated like a number and not a person.

I don't think I will go back there because I can certainly order and find everything I need online. I just wanted to help our community grow by keeping my business local but I can say from experience! I will not spend another dime in that store.
