Services
In 1933, W. Ray Jackson founded Jackson Furniture in the midst of the Great Depression. We opened our doors the day the banks closed theirs. Since then our family has continued to create furniture, right here in the USA. We have seen decades of American prosperity, challange, war and mind-blowing advancements in science and technology.
Born in 1903, Mr. W. Ray Jackson left very humble beginnings in Cleveland, TN at age 16 to set out on his own. After working for several years in an auto assembly plant in Ohio, he returned back South to Tennessee to try the chair upholstery business. After quickly learning the upholstery craft, he took the $30 in his pocket - ALL he had left after the banks closed during the Great Depression - and started Jackson Furniture Company. The business grew and grew with expanded factories and more people hired and put to work.

Jackson/Catnapper currently does not have a program that will allow "factory direct" transactions. Our products may only be purchased by way of our 2,500 authorized retailers. Jackson/Catnapper does not establish retail prices for our products. The local retailer, based upon his trading area and comparison of other competitive products determines any advertised, quoted or printed pricing.

Glider on recliner has squeaked since almost new. Dealer sent "factory repair guy" multiple times with no relief. Base now fails as well. As a courtesy, they are replacing the base but the squeak continues as the "Lifetime Warranty on the mechanism" does not include the glider portion of the chair. Make sure you take such things in consideration before you let the base 1 year warranty expire. Make the store take it back. Will not buy any more Jackson furniture. The chair is very comfortable at least if you are deaf.

Critical:Professionalism This company did the responsible thing, they repaired the damaged ottoman ( rebuilt it) and now it's like new. Thank goodness!

SCAM COMPANY.We purchased a Catnapper Sofa and Loveseat for $3000. After one month they had to come and replace one cushion that had lost its resiliency. After 3 months they had to come and re-stuff arm rests and backs of sofa due to compression of cheap stuffing. Once again, they came a third time to re-stuff our sofas due to compression. Next, the seams started to come loose and returned again to sew our sofa up.

This went on for a few months. (why would we ever trust their store product again?) After 1 year and 6 or 7 visits to re-stuff our sofa and loveseat they informed us we needed to call "Safeware" which is the $250 Furniture Protection Plan we purchased. This company argued with us and would not repair our sofa or return our phone calls. Long story short, we lost our $250 furniture protection plan money as a scam and $3000 for horrible quality furniture. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Law Suit Pending.

Don't use this store or company. They support Russia. I picked up a load of own plywood board from port in Jacksonville Fl. It was from Russia and looks almost like recycled material.

We ordered "in stock" furniture on August 7, 2021. In September we were contacted to inform us that our items were on backorder, and that they would be delivered in late November. They didn't come, but the backorder date magically updated to February 3rd, 2022. On February 5th, 2022, the date changed again to June 9th 2022. These items continue to be listed on websites as "in stock". IF the latest date is correct, and history would say that it won't be, they will have had our money over ten months without delivering any furniture.

Bought this sofa from our local Bernie and phylls furniture store was told that this sofa was made from the highest quality materials. So for $3000 this is what we got after a short while told the store about it and was basically told that we are on our own because our warranty ran out? Based on all of the photos on this site i would highly recommend not purchasing any of their products obviously they use cheap materials!

Really, really disappointed in our sectional from Jackson Furniture. We paid thousands for our furniture and warranty and it is already peeling and flaking. We bought the extended warranty, but of course this isn't included. Several employees of the company are adding positive reviews here, but if you search around, you will find a lot of unhappy people, especially on the Better Business Bureau website. It's really sad that they are selling poor quality material. Buyer beware. UPDATE: We were never contacted by the company.

I wish we had read the reviews of this furniture before we bought. In fact, I wish I could give them zero stars. We've had our furniture for 5 years, and yes we expect it not to stay in perfect condition. However, it's just the two of us, no dogs or kids have been on our couch and recliners. But this real leather is a joke. It's all flaked off and the furniture looks hideous.

Way too expensive to have the "real" leather come off in flakes. Contacted customer service and they emailed me back a canned response about a not having a one year warranty. Cheap, cheap furniture that's way too expensive!
