We bought a new mattress and base. Our salesman was very nice and knowledgeable. The delivery was two days later and the deliverymen were so very nice and helpful. Five stars for Ivan Smith Furniture.

The knowledge that the sales staff had with beds was incredible. If you have a question or concern they were able to explain it so you could understand it clearly. We were showed all the beds from the economy versions to the high end mattresses. They have a wide selection that will fit any budget. I highly recommend using this store for your bed needs.

The salesman was friendly and knowledgeable. He greeted me when I walked in door and gave me his card if I need help with anything. He listened and answered my questions. The process of buying furniture was easy because of help you receive.

IAN, was very helpful. He wasn't pushy, just allowed me to take my time. He remembered me by name from when I initially looked the Ciao Belle bed. Gave me the discount run down on whts the best offer. Located a dining set that I wanted and offered a protection plan to cover all if it. Office area staff was exceptional as well, Thank you.

It was great to have a manager on site to approve the sale of the display cocktail table I wanted. That particular table was on backorder for months! Ken was a great salesman and the man who wrapped the table for transport did it quickly and completely. Overall, it was a pleasant and productive visit.

Amber was great helped me find the perfect table and a matching cabinet. Set up delivery they were on time and the delivery men were very nice and were very careful not to hit walls or other furniture when bringing the items in. All and all a great experience.

My attendant was extremely helpful, and immediately walked over to assist me in finding furniture the moment I walked in the door. She was nice, the atmosphere of the building was wonderful, and the building was incredibly nice to walk around in. All of the furniture was clear and easy to see out on the floor in sets, you could sit on any of the furniture to feel it before buying it, and the furniture appeared to be very nice.

I'm no expert, but the price for the quality of furniture seemed very acceptable. I not only found something in my price range, but it feels incredibly sturdy and nothing was broken or damaged. The entire transaction went as smooth as it could have and I was in and out of the store.

I had a fabulous experience buying a glider/recliner chair for my library. The salesman was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. I selected my fabric and placed my order. The salesman told me that it would take fourteen weeks to receive my order. It came on time and was delivered right away. It is exactly what I wanted, and I am extremely happy with the whole experience.

After a bad experience in another furniture location, we found friendly, knowledgeable people at the Bert Kouns store. We received our custom ordered chair in less than the time we were told it would take, and the chair is more beautiful than we could have imagined. We love our purchase, and will go back to this store, and salesperson, for our future furniture needs.

Ivan smith was awesome! Timely professional delivery! I got a great deal on furniture I love! I couldn't believe how fast they got my furniture to me! One piece was on back order but they told me that when I placed my order and they went on and delivered the most important pieces of my order that were available and they will deliver the other piece as soon as it comes in at no extra charge to me. It was literally hassle free delivery.

Was told due to the pandemic stuff get broken easily. Luckily the bed never made it in the house as soon as it came out of the box it was broken. They came to my house 4times and was told the only thing they can do is set up unlimited appointments and see when I get a undamaged furniture. I finally decided they could just take all their broken pieces home since they were just dropping it off at the house and get reimburse.

My brother bought a table a month ago and is already falling into pieces. And the bed set was 4K and the table was 2k so we weren't being cheap. Shelby the lady who emailed me said she will take away the delivery fee but it never was taken off. The delivery guys told me the only thing is for me to go up to the store and pick up the bed even though I paid extra for it it be delivered. I can go on and on. After attempting to pass off regular size twin mattresses on us as twin XL mattresses TWICE, we realized this is a sales scam where they charge you for the XL price but deliver a regular size twin. After all, who actually measures mattresses for those 5 extra inches? We do. Not to mention the actual mattress was clearly marked twin but the warehouse bag it was shipped in was marked twin XL.

We tried to get this fixed but after 3 weeks of waiting, we're done. The store manager, Bruce, was supposed to deliver the correct mattresses today and I called at 10am to verify that. When he didnt show by 3pm, I called again only to be told the mattresses are wrong again and he's been waiting for 4 hours for the manufacturer to call him. So, he knew 4 hours in advance the delivery was not going to happen and instead of calling to notify us, he let us sit and wait all day anticipating a delivery that would never come.

I purchased/financed a couch here in March from Mary Lou- I struggled with her because she likes to do all the talking, but she was knowledgeable, I will give her that. Still, it wasn't a pleasant experience to start with. I purchased a dual recliner with console. Very shortly afterward, I noticed that where my feet rest on the recliner was discolored.

So I called and asked for how to clean the couch, since no fabric instructions were included up on delivery, nor in box. The rep I spoke with (nice lady, not Mary Lou) said that it sounded like it was a defect and set up for service to come inspect. The service person did that, concurred that it appeared defective and they would get back to me after contacting manufacturer.

After several follow ups on my part, they finally said that they couldn't replace the couch, so they would have to exchange it- but of course they didn't have anything that was comparable without extra expense on my part (recliners with no console, lesser fabrics, etc). I didn't want to spend more, so it was negotiated with Mary Lou that I would receive a $200.00 discount off the financed price of the couch if I paid it off that day.

I said I would but I wanted the paid receipt. I was told it would be sent later that day. I paid the rest of the amount owed on the couch ($356.72) and now, nine days later and numerous calls, they refuse to give me my paid receipt. The discussion and payment happened in the morning, I called late afternoon and was sent a receipt showing I still owed the money (so they didn't take off the 200.00 agreed on) I brought this to their attention and they then said Mary Lou would have to take care of it, and she was gone.

I called back the next day and Mary Lou said my manager will have to take care of it, and he is gone.but i'll make a note of it. The next day it was.he's on vacation, he'll be back Tues. Tues came and went, and I called today, and Mary Lou's story today is "i'm just a salesperson" I can't do it.and any objection that I made was talked over, and I was not allowed to get word in edge wise.

I called to corporate, and was told that they don't have a customer service complaint department. These people are the worst kinds of sales people; I have been in sales my entire life- I have worked for furniture stores, car lots, printer sales and shutters.some of the hardest products to sell. Ivan Smith employs the kind of practices and people that give the profession a stigma for being sharks. Be aware of what you are in for should a problem arise.

Great customer service. Our salesman, Michael, didn't follow us around but gave us all the time in the world for us to look over the entire store. We loved this. He helped us find the exact color swatches we wanted and loved for our custom Mayo couches. We ordered two couches from him, and we also bought a couch and chair off the showroom floor for an amazing price as well as some decor for our home.

He was able to get us a fantastic deal since it was a couple days before their Memorial Day sale would officially begin. Yay for this! And Yay for Michael! We received our custom sofas about a month later and everything is beautiful but they messed up on our pillow fabrics. Michael went above and beyond and ordered us extra pillows, at no additional cost, so we will get exactly what we want/wanted as well as a couple extra pillows!

I plan on going back very soon to order custom Mayo chairs, a dining room set, and hopefully a guest bedroom suite too! I simply wish IS had more of a selection when it comes to dining room sets and breakfast nook tables. We are ready to receive our new pillows soon.

This is for the Tyler location since they do not appear on YELP. We were in need of a new recliner. Ivan Smith (Tyler) was our first stop. We were greeted promptly by a nice salesperson. However, once she discovered we wanted an inexpensive recliner (less than $200, they were having a sale) she brushed us off and on top of that she touched my wife in a manner I found inappropriate.

My wife is recovering from a stroke and triple bypass surgery. Her breathing is labored at best. My wife started having a breathing attack and the female salesperson grabbed her by the shoulders and told her to breath. Needless to say we had to leave because of my wife's issue and the issue we had with this salesperson. We will never set foot in this Ivan Smith store again if this is the example of their sales staff. Pretty sure if we were going to spend $300-500 or more we would have been treated differently. We eventually went to another store (Blake) to make our purchase.
