We purchased a new couch on Sunday afternoon and it was delivered today (Friday). Tim, who sold us the couch and a bedroom set, was very courteous and made the buying process easy. The two gentlemen who delivered the couch were friendly and professional as well. They placed the new couch where we wanted it to go, even lined it up with the end tables.

Then they took the old, huge leather sofa out with them. It was a challenge getting that beast out of the house, but they did it. Now we can't wait for the bedroom set to be delivered in a couple weeks. We'll also return for one more piece of furniture before we're done - and we'll probably never purchase furniture anywhere else again! Shop local. Buy local. Go to Happy Harry's. You'll be very happy yourself!

I always try to support smaller businesses, so when I needed a new couch I had went to Happy Harry's furniture. I purchased a reclining sofa from them. Within not even a year of owning it one of the reclining leg rests broke. Not long after the other side broke. When I had called them about it they were completely unprofessional. He tried to blame it on my grandson and a dog that we didn't even own yet at the time it broke.

The one side broke while I was just sitting still watching a movie. You can tell by looking at the metal bar in that area that it was due to either cheap parts or defective manufacturing. When I explained i was simply sitting watching a movie when the one side broke the employee i was talking to said I was lying and blamed it on my dog. I didn't have the dog at the time it broke.

The first side that broke they blamed my grandson. If you look up reviews on the manufacturers site for the couch purchased there are countless negative reviews complaining about poor quality of the furniture and issues exactly I was having. Basically Happy Harry's sold me low quality furniture and when it broke they refuse to stand behind their product and instead shift the blame to the customer so that they don't have to deal with it.

This is not a wise business practice for a place who wants to stay open in today's world. I have a close friend who works with Slumberland furniture come out and take a look at it and they confirmed that even if what Happys Harry's said was true it would not of caused the damage or problems that are present. I have bought a lot of furniture from Happy Harry's over the last 25 years.

After this experience I can say I will never buy another piece of furniture from this place again. They have really gone downhill over the years. I do not recommend this business to anyone. Save your money and support a business that stands behind their products and carries higher standards for customer service.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. I WAS YELLED AT AFTER A TECH SHOWED UP LATER THEN I WAS TOLD. WHEN I TRIED TO RESCHEDULE I WAS SCOLLED FOR HOW MUCH IT HAD COST THEM AND THAT HE WASN'T GOINT TO FIX IT. HERE ARE THE DETAILS: I purchased 2 electric recliner couches for around $3000. We have had them for about 2 years now and they have had to come out and replace the seats one of the couches.

When I purchased them I was very impressed how personable the sales man Tim was. I recently had scheduled a service tech to come out and repair a stitch on one of the couches. I was told the tech would be out in the morning. I mentioned I needed to leave for work at 12:30 pm. I called at 10:30 am they said he was on his way. OI left for work at 12:30 pm to go to work.

The tech showed up right after I had left. When I called to reschedule I was chewed out and told how much money it cost him to send a tech out. And he wasn't going to fix it and it was my fault I wasn't there.one of thew owners Tim.

Update: Just purchased some more furniture from HH and the entire experience was excellent. The delivery drivers who setup the furniture did an outstanding job! First time purchasing from Happy Harry's. No pressure sales staff, great sense of humor! I had my new furniture delivered and setup only 4 days after purchasing. If you are looking for new furniture you absolutely need to check them out.

Great experience from start to finish! We walked in looking for a bedroom set, and the salesman working was super helpful and informative without ever being pushy, and he gave us plenty of time by ourselves to chat in private too. We ordered a set, it ended up coming in much quicker than we thought which was a nice surprise. The two guys that took away our old furniture and brought in the new stuff (for free!) were very friendly, quick, and professional. I will only be buying furniture here from now on!

Great service, we are repeat customers. They helped us pick out the right recliners for us. They had the best materials and colors for us to choose from. They made us feel welcome and at home. Can't wait to have them deliver for free our new chairs.

I read all these reviews as well as recommendations from friends so I went to HH. The in-store experience was excellent. I picked out my piece, ordered and paid in full. They said it would be 4-6 weeks. I called during week 6 for a status (assuming a delay due to COVID), and they said it was now 6-8 weeks. I called again at week 8, and they said it was arriving at their shop the next week and I would get a call for delivery the following week. Now, here we are 10 weeks post placing my order.

They have never called me with status or to schedule a delivery. All the outreach has been on me. I loved their selection, I loved the in-store service and they are clearly differentiated on free delivery AND removal of old furniture. But, especially in the era of COVID, more communication about order status would be helpful. I'm disappointed.

You need to go to a big furniture store that works on commission to really see how much better Happy Harry's is. We went to Happy Harry's for a dining table and just to compare prices, went to other places after. At one place, the sales person followed about 7 feet behind us for almost 15 minutes and it was one of the most awkward experiences I've ever had.

Even when I whispered to my husband, he heard us and responded. We had 0 privacy to discuss our choices. At another place we were basically told $xxx price listed isn't the actually price. It's on sale. You have to take 50% off the manufacture price and take another 20% off that price. You have to do a lot of math just to get to the price and in the end it was still a higher price than at Happy Harry's AND there was $119.99 delivery fee.

I really like that they simply introduce themselves and then let you explore on your own and they are very accommodating with delivery. We made a purchase Sunday and delivery is the next day.

A great experience all around. They helped us get exactly the pieces we were looking for, at an excellent price. And best of all, the custom pieces were ready in half the time promised, which was already pretty quick! Add free delivery and set up, plus haul away of the old pieces and you've got the whole package. We will definitely shop here again and I'm telling all my friends and families too.
