I would rather not give them 0 stars because they are the biggest rip off company that I have ever dealt with. The furniture stores sell their warranties and when you go in and try and file a claim. They do everything to drag it on or so they don't have to fix any problems you may have from the product. They have e-mailed me twice trying to get the claim number which I did on their website. They have had my claim since 3/2022, and here it is 5/2022. They never fix what they promise. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IF YOUR SMART

I have an open claim since October 2021, ( today date May 15,2022) They keep postponing the date replacement part will arrive and can't provide a tracking number.

A Claim was made for Furniture cracking and peeling as per contract this is covered however when we filled a case we were not sure what caused it and have stated that as an honest answer, however such furniture will not starting peeling or cracking without an incident which is understandable to anyone. Guardsman instead of honoring their contract and dealing with this, decided that since client didn't specifically what have caused the cracking and peeling then it is not approved claim. their response was that such peeling and cracking could be not because of incident or accident. my question then what? lol Stay away from this company - biggest crooks

If I could I would give 0 to this company. Very rude staff. They just trap you saying everything is covered. But when it comes to support they say not covered. They also ask for filling up the form online and but funny that don't accept the signed documents by email! I had to send the documents to the USA address, with in 30 days, the documents have to reach to their address which will cost another Xtra money to track the mail. My sofa's skin started to peel off, they don't even offer to repair! Worst insurance! Please don't go with this company!

This place does not even deserve one star or me taking the time to use caps! i am so put out with them, i filed a simple claim for a new remote for my split king adjustable bed on 9.28.21 & still no results. all they tell me is 'its in the resolution department' cmon! give me another or tell me where i can get one! they sent a tech out all the way to my house to say 'yup, its not working' & still nothing! puuulease! just get me a remote.

Critical:Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value This company is a total scam. It should be reported to the consumer protection and needs to be held accountable. When you call them you are on hold for like 30-40 minutes. Then they will make all sorts of excuses how not to cover the damage to the furniture. Don't get this policy, it is just total waste of your money

This company is a complete scam and the feds need to investigate or a class action needs to be open. I sent in my claim in a timely manner. I called weeks later for a status and they said they never received my claim and the 30 day period has passed. Bull. send me a refund for this scam. The 1.2 star rating is right for sure. Furniture companies need to look at these reviews and think twice before selling this scam to their customers.

I submitted a claim on 2/1/21 for an issue that happened on 1/1/21 or there abouts. My claim was denied because they said it was 31 days not 30. I find that very unfair and just an excuse not to pay or help me out. The claim definitely qualifies. It appears this company exists to try and find a way not to pay. I would love to know the number of claims submitted and number denied. I am willing to bet it favors them and not the customer. Sick of these companies. I will not be purchasing anymore Guardsman plans. What a con.

Total and complete scam, would give 0 stars if I could. Bought an outdoor wicker furniture set from Overstock and since the quality didn't look great, purchased the warranty. unbeknownst to me, serviced by the horror that is Guardsman. The process for submitting claims is intentionally onerous and not intuitive, you have to fill out, print and mail a claim for each individual piece of furniture (8 separate ones in my case).

Then they told me that I'm required to submit my claims within 5 days of noticing damage and since the date I put on the form for when I noticed damage was greater than 5 days from submitting the claim, my damage is not covered. So you buy a warranty that covers damage for 5 years but if you don't immediately report it, it's useless. This is what all my outdoor furniture looks like and this is not covered by the $100 warranty I bought. Congratulations on making money the scummy way!

Complete SCAM! FRAUD! I had this protection plan on my sectional, Had stains from dropping salsa accidentally. Call'd in for claim, They sent a technician who cleaned and left with out any notice or conclusion. I call'd them again and complained about the stains still being there and now the sofa is all wet with the chemical they used. After 3weeks they send a email that its not covered, SINCE it accumulation of stain.

The stain accumulated because they took 3 weeks to get it cleaned and 2 more weeks to dry, and instead of lifting the stain they spread it all around. I am logging a complaint with Department of Justice consumer affairs. DONT PAY EXPECTING ITS A WARRANTY OR PROTECTION ITS COMPLETE SCAM
