These ppl have had my sectional almost a month & 1/2 and were supposed to be repairing it. They have attempted to return on 4 or 5 occasions UNREPAIRED. While I'm sure they go home and sit on their furniture, I have been left almost a month & 1/2 sitting on the floor. I have spoken to Steve and another store manager whose name starts with R at the Wilmington area store and they haven't followed up with the service department or returned phone calls to me as they said they would.

I have spoken with Jessica at the Jacksonville store where repairs are made and she was extremely rude. She also claimed she repaired my sectional and even went as far as to call me a liar. I think I would know my furniture better than her. She spoke in completely disrespectful tone and clearly feels her job is secure no matter how she treats customers because according to her, she's been the service department mgr for the last 10 years.

These ppl are completely incompetent and furniture fair's reviews solidify such. I still don't have my sectional nor has it been replaced. They were suppose yo call me yesterday with an update but guess what. I haven't heard from them. I Purchased a warranty that was supposed to be good for 5 years, and although it's not even been 1/2 of that time period, Jessica made it clear that they didn't even hv to do what they didn't do because my warranty is up, which is a lie.

This company does not stant behind their word & in this world, if you don't have your word, you have nothing. I will NEVER do business with them again & will never send family or friends here ever again. This has been by far the worst experience with any business I've ever experienced. If you've thought about checking them out, do yourself a favor and DON'T.

Don't waste your money on a Stearns and Foster mattress. I spent $1500 on a Stearns and Foster mattress I thought with the last 10 years. It was firm when I bought it so firm I needed to get a mattress topper which was OK with me. A little over a year later it would sink 3 to 4 inches when I would lie on it. I weigh 160 pounds So it's not like my weight should've impacted the mattress greatly.

I even moved to the other side and the same thing happened within months. Store associates came out but the only thing they said the warranty would cover would be if it had a dip in inches without anyone lying on it. So unless you have $1500 to waste on a mattress that's not going to last you a little over a year not to mention chiropractic and doctor visits to adjust your spine neck back shoulders and hips due to the poor support don't waste your money.

I couldn't believe a high end furniture store would sell crap. I've had $200 mattresses that lasted longer. If you don't believe me read the reviews on Stearns and Foster I wish I had I wouldn't be out $1500 plus still need to go buy another mattress.

I went there 5 months ago looking for a dresser. They said the one I picked would be delivered in July. With the pandemic and al I thought would be ok. July came nothing, agost came nothing. I called the girl that sold it to me and she said there are back order from January. Well she didn't say that before. She had no idea when it would come and unfortunately she wouldn't be able to help me because she was sick from covid, second time.

In fact they couldn't even have their weekly meeting because everyone that was supposed to be in that meeting was sick. I said want a refund and cancel my order she said i would have to go to the store to present my receipt and card. I did i had my mask on. No one had mask in there. No one! The manager that spoke to me said they were having a lot of problems because of covid and I was thinking "this man is talking very close to me".

I went there Tuesday and Wednesday I woke up congested and everything went down from there I was positive for delta I am fully vaccinated so symptoms were mild I had everything but fever. I still have problems to breath and everything physical that I do tired me out but my doctor said I am ok and I should recover completely in 2 months. I have no doubt in my mind was from that place.

I give just one star for The disregard for people's life. That's why we are on this mess. They could ask the costumers to wear mask. THEY could wear mask. they don't care. But they are pretty fast to blame on covid if your product doesn't arrive. If you bought something there and is not on stock better sit down is gonna take up to a year.

I purchased a bedroom set at the Bellfork Rd. Furniture Fair in Jacksonville in October and was told the bed would get to me in 4-6 weeks. I called about a month later, and was told it was late because of the pandemic. The girl was so rude. I was called a month after that and was told that it would be arriving in a few weeks, and I would be 1st in line for the bed.

I never heard back after that, so I called to follow up and was told that someone else got the bed because I was actually 2nd in line. It ended up being well over 12 weeks, with no bed. I asked for a discount on delivery, and I was turned down. The only offer I got was to cancel the bed for a refund. I already had 2 matching dressers at home, so why would I want to go out and get a bed that doesn't match the rest of my furniture?

I reached out to another Furniture Fair in Wilmington to ask if the bed was in stock there, and they told me they share the same warehouse with this one, and it had been in stock for weeks! So my bed had just been sitting there for who knows how long. Nobody in customer service cared at all - they just kept repeating "there's a pandemic, hun." I finally picked the bed up, and walked in to hear the manager cussing and trash-talking a customer with another employee. I will never ever shop here or recommend this place again. If you MUST visit Furniture Fair, go to Wilmington! Their customer service was way better.

This place is a joke! We bought a dining room table and chairs, had them for 3 days before the table collapsed friday out of no where! We have been trying to get it replaced since and keep getting the run around and "someone will call you" with no calls back! My husband keeps calling and they say we will get a call back! I do not recommend this place!

The place is clean and seems to have some okay deals but one of the salesmen was very rude to my husband when we came in to price a washer, he commented on the fact that my husband is an E3 and insinuated we didn't have a lot of money since we asked to see the clearance section. When we asked questions he gave snippy answers idk if he was having a bad day but he wasn't very nice

Bought a living set from Jacksonville Hwy 24 location. The assistance manager helped us. Was very specific about order, items and discounted amounts. Was told the Table Ottoman we wanted would have to be special ordered and would take about 4 weeks. It has been almost 3 months and FF has delivered the wrong ottoman not once, twice, but three times. Today, the store manager calls and tells me they have located the proper ottoman, but it will be 6-8 weeks special order.

Here we go again and it will an additional $179.00. I have been patience, but this is too much. I was very specific about the item I wanted which was on the showroom floor. That is what I paid for. Told him lets have someone pick all the furniture up and I will go somewhere else and buy.

Did not bother buying anything here but the staff here is very attentive and very willing to do whatever it took to try to help us find what we were looking for. We were able however to find and test out the mattresses that we were looking to buy there and end up finding them cheaper on Amazon so that was helpful.

Yesterday my husband and I went, again, to Furniture Fair on Bell Fork to look at furniture. The previous time we went we encountered men talking amongst themselves.and one fella coming and asking us what we were looking for. Within 5 minutes he was gone back to talking to his fellow employees and never returned. We did encounter a nice woman saleslady who helped us later on. Men do not like these jobs it appears and the women, as usual, do a better job!

Ok that said. My husband and I went again yesterday. Now, we went down the street to buy two chairs and a mattress at the other, been there forever, furniture store. But after purchasing the other items, my husband wanted another couch/loveseat. We went back. The gentleman that ignored us the first time we visited came and stayed with us the whole time to assist us.

Which was a nice surprise. We looked at all kinds of loveseats and found one after about an hour. The loveseat was a fold out bed also. It was also pretty steep for a loveseat. But we bought it and it was delivered today. We are very happy with the whole transaction. I lowered it down from a 5 star due to the first visit.

If I could give 0 I would! Terrible customer service, cheap furniture! Been through 2 living room sets in 3 months and still having issues! The VP disrespected me. But yes they are fixing it once again but how many times do you have to go through this.my time is valuable.

Today we casually went into look at furniture. We were greeted by a gentleman named Joe. Joe wasn't super aggressive and actually listened to our needs and helped us find what we we were looking for. While most sales people are commission, Joe did not come across that way.there was multiple times Joe suggested different options because it benefited us.

We had an absolute amazing experience and would recommend this store to any friends and family. Great prices and excellent top notch customer service set them apart from other stores. A+++ Will definitely do business again.

Best furniture store in Jacksonville, I cannot recommend this place enough! I worked with the sales manager Jim. He was was the nicest, least pushy salesman I've ever encountered. He made my experience quick and painless, and financed me with nearly nothing down! Not to mention pulled a few strings and was able to have my furniture delivered an hour after I bought it so I could surprise my husband! Great furniture for a great price and they ALWAYS have some kind of sale going on.

This store is huge but filled with mostly lower quality items. It is extremely over priced for the quality. I've done my research as I was looking to spend around 6k to furnish my new home. Furniture would be ok for a bachelor pad, but they wouldn't be able to pay the sky high prices.

In my adult life, the only place that I have ever purchased furniture has been Furniture Fair on Bell Fork. Every time that I have purchased furniture, I have also purchased the extended protection plan. Over the years, my purchases have been claimed by ex wives, broken due to my own negligence in executing military orders, damage to the finish due to miscellaneous incidents, etc.

I never contacted Furniture Fair due to any of these losses. On this specific occasion, I purchased a bedroom set a little more than a year ago. The furniture successfully survived a military PCS with limited damage to the finish, but this week, while moving it 6 inches to access a power outlet, part of the headboard broke which supports the side rails.

I immediately found my receipt and contacted Furniture Fair. To my surprise, the extended protection plan does NOT cover that. "The Extended Protection Plan only covers accidental damage to the finish, " stated the furniture service department. "Like if your spouse leaves perfume on the dresser and it leaks. Then when you wipe it up, there is a mark from the perfume." Imagine my surprise to learn that the hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars that I have spent on extended protection plans has been a waste.

The furniture service department did suggest a local furniture repair service that I could pay for. Of course, I'm military like most of the customers in Jacksonville, NC so I no longer live in the area. When I do return to Jacksonville, I have no intention of returning to Furniture Fair due to the overwhelming disappointment I have experienced from this unjust service.

I have never been so frustrated as a customer, I purchased furniture over 7 weeks ago. I was told my furniture would be in by the end of the month so approximately 3 weeks. 4 weeks later, no one knows when my furniture will be in. The rep who sold me the furniture doesn't call to give us updates. Apparently, they just have random shipments of furniture arriving to the store and they won't know if the furniture is there until it shows up. That's sounds ridiculous. I would not recommend this store. Stay far away!

Just one of the many places we shopped at while looking to furnish our new home. I can sum up my experience in one word. OVERPRICED. I am very frugal and went to EVERY store in Jacksonville looking for the most "bang for my buck".after I found out that Furniture fair owns MOST of the stores in town, it all made sense.basically its a big monopoly between them and boomtown, majors, highpoint, and most other store in the area.

Same stuff in every store and still priced higher than what I got it for! Make sure you shop around before buying ANYTHING here. Pros: Sales reps were "nice" but very pushy.guy actually followed us out to our car asking us if we were sure we diddnt want to buy.

We have been buying furniture here since 2003 when we got stationed here and bought our first house. And ironically, we've used the same salesperson the entire time--you cannot go wrong with Jon (I'm not sure if there's another Jon there but he's English). He's the nicest, most helpful, least pushy salesperson ever and we're so glad he's been there each and every time.

In fact, on our most recent visit last week, we hadn't been to the store in about three or four years (due to a PCS move out of state) but he saw us walking in the parking lot, recognized us, and postponed his errand to come in and help us. We have bought everything from a washer and dryer to a garbage disposal to a dining room set to bedroom sets to living room sets. We've had deliveries, store financing, warranty issues, returns, and exchanges--all handled wonderfully by all of the staff.

They have a huge assortment of items in the showroom--and unfortunately for us, we can't go "just to look" because we always end up buying something.so now we ONLY go when we definitively need something. I cannot say enough good things about this store--and especially our sales guy Jon.
