Firstly, I thought the selection was quite limited. Secondly, the individual at the front desk was polite, but not useful. We had to go up and ask questions, he never offred to help. When we ask steel frame couches, he point to a row of couches and said, "there might be one on that group". He then went back to his phone. He did not tell us anything about how we would know which couch was metal framed.

Store associate Kyle answered all my questions, was very flexible with purchasing options and helped me select a nice recliner. He was very professional and courteous, if your looking for a furniture store that offers great customer service this is your store in Bloomington!

Steve took excellent care of me while looking for a new pullout couch. I keep returning for the customer service, but the furniture is a nice addition. They even delivered it! You won't be disappointed if you shop at the Furniture Exchange!

Now that I've finally moved out Bloomington, I wanted to give a candid review about my selling experiences with Furniture Exchange. I sold two very nice end tables there and a nearly brand new couch. Both occasions, they said they would send a check in the mail for what we negotiated the price to be. Both times I had to call the store multiple times asking when the payment was going to be sent because it had been over a month.

Both times, I had to end up going to the store in-person to demand my money for the furniture they promptly picked up. They must swindle so many college students who sell furniture by thinking, "Well, they're going to leave town anyway so we're just going to say we're going to give them the money but we won't actually do it because they'll never follow up." When I confronted them at the store both times, they played dumb like they weren't sure why the check wasn't mailed and I had to stand there to watch them write it and hand to me. NICE TRY, STEVE. I would not sell furniture with them if I had alternative choices.

Checked out the funiture there today, selection was decent, but the prices are high for what I was comparing to from multiple sources online which I can forgive due to being a small funiture store and possibly getting what I need now. BUT, the sales person today forced me to leave this 1 star review, complete disrespect for my questions as he talked down to me as a child, unable to answer basic questions about available colors, lack of professionalism, and total loss of salesmanship.

I was ready to buy TODAY, but the salesman completely turned the sale in the opposite direction. Again, price is not a issue by obtaining what you need at that point of time but lack of professionalism and respect made me change my mind spending my money there. Will never step foot in there again. Be warned that you will be insulted and belittled IF you received the sales person I got today. Funiture and price was honestly not the issue today. Bought a nicer selectional at a competitor at a cheaper cost with excellent customer service. This place will be lucky to stay open with what customer service I received today. I recommend going to make your own judgements, this is just my opinion/review.

Unfortunately I have noticed in this store that customer service is hit and miss and if you're there when the owner isn't you can bet you won't be spoken to or might not even see anyone the whole time you tour their store. If you aren't sure what you want and need help I suggest Ikea or Longs Landing. If you dont need help order on Wayfair and let Steve get his nap in. Think about it, it's showing up in a few days from a truck either way.

I bought a couch from them last year and one day after the warranty was up needed repair. FE worked with me and went above the call for me and my family. I will only buy my future furniture needs from them. Thanks so much guys.

I talked to Steve about the style of sectional I was looking for and the first picture he showed me was exactly what I was envisioning! We live in Nashville, IN and delivery was 49 bucks and they are going to set everything up. It couldn't have been a better experience. Their prices are unbeatable.

We went to get a dresser for my sister, and we ended up leaving with one super quick! Plus, we made a really affordable, and great payment plan for the matching dresser! The employees were super nice and extremely helpful! They had a great selection, and it was extremely affordable! I reccomend going here anytime you need furniture in the future!

We were there for about an hour looking for a sectional and walked out with not only a sectional but with a diningroom table as well. The owners are very warm and welcoming! They made us feel right at home without over crowding us while we looked around. We will definitely go back when we are ready to purchase a bedroom suite.

This is perfect for you if you want to be taken advantage of and treated like less than a person. Management is unprofessional and doesn't clearly communicate with customers. Ask a question and expect not to get an answer. They love blindfolding students into overpaying for low-quality furniture, you can go several other places to find what you're looking for, from more friendly associates. I do not recommend this place by any means; you can find better furniture and a more respectable business practice somewhere else.

We shopped at Furniture Exchange for furniture for my son's IU apartment and LOVED it! There is a great selection of furniture and mattresses at a variety of price points, all very reasonable! The staff are great--helpful, friendly, etc. Special shout out to Kyle who is a great help and fun on top of it!

Don't do it! Save yourself a trip and go ANYWHERE else! Literally no one offered to assist us and when I finally found someone to ask a question he was so RUDE! Go to Longs Landing in Bloomington instead!

Great store, great customer service. Steve was extremely helpful. Very good selection of new and used furniture. We couldn't find the couch we wanted, but Steve directed us to their sister store on Liberty Drive (Distinctive Furniture) where we were able to make the purchases we wanted. Would definitely recommend Furniture Exchange.

This is one of my favorite furniture stores because he pretty much sells the furniture at rock-bottom prices frequently that we had some interesting used furniture that I've purchased which I couldn't find anywhere else.

I've shopped here for various pieces for several years now. After shopping around Indianapolis (even at the outlets) Furniture Exchange always offered the best price-- for the exact same pieces. Their staff is always friendly, and very helpful. FE also takes used furniture to sell. I've gotten pretty good prices for bed frames, chairs, tables and other pieces.

It has an old warehouse feel to it. There are two stories- the first with more of the new items in front, used items in the back. The second floor has mattresses and children's pieces. I highly recommend them for any of your furniture needs.

I've got a house full of various pieces of furniture purchased at Furniture Exchange. Steve and his staff do a wonderful job directing folks to either affordable new furniture or quality used pieces. The other perk of dealing with Steve, when you buy a piece off of him and later have need to upgrade or trade for something different he gives fair and generous trade-in value.

If you happen to be looking for a rare piece or find something in a magazine or catalog, Steve will work diligently to locate exactly what you're seeking. Pricing across the board is very competitive if not the lowest in the Bloomington/Monroe County area. Delivery services are outstanding. Go see Steve, you'll be glad you did.
