Furniture Direct is an independently owned Hilton Head company buying direct from the furniture manufacturers, cutting out any middle distribution levels. This enables us to pass on direct cost savings to our customers. We are a full service furniture store and only sell new furniture at everyday low discounted prices. Our services include retail sales from our showroom, special orders from our manufacturers, and a complete home or villa design and furnishing service that includes furniture, bedding, art and accessories, electronics, window treatments, floor covering, wallpaper, paint, and kitchen (housewares) setup.

We recently purchased a single-family home in Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island. We wanted to decorate and furnish the home in a style that reflected our personal taste but that also would work well on the rental market. We met with Dennis Dove and his team at Furniture Direct and they took the time to listen to us describe our ideas and learn a little about us. They also met with a representative from our property management company. We gave them a budget to work with and later revised that budget down.

I recently worked with Dennis and his team to help me complete a warranty replacement of my Breezesta Outdoor furniture. He was super accommodating and worked with the manufacturer to completely resolve and rectify the issue. The team there has always been very polite, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Tony helped me select a sleeper sofa that would accommodate both our pocket book and our living space. The delivery men were timely, personable and worked quickly and efficiently to set up our room to our specifications. Jennifer, who schedules deliveries, called promptly and graciously rescheduled our delivery, per our request, with no issues. Thanks to all!

Truly professional staff all the way around! Was able to completely customize my own sofa exactly to my specifications. With COVID going on, I was told there may be some delays with manufacturing due to plant shut downs, but the staff did a great job of keeping me in the loop. Delivery was exactly when they said it would be and the drivers were very professional installing the new piece and cleaning up. Would recommend for any of your needs!

Run, do not buy here. You will wait months only to receive damaged furniture. All they seem to care about is getting your money. They do not update you on the status of your order unless you call them. Owner obviously has no clue as to how his business is being run. Ended up buying elsewhere and got in a week, better quality and not damaged. Interesting to see your reply.
Amazing how quickly you responded to a bad review, but yet you never responded to two emails that were forwarded to you by Glenn, who was our salesman. Before even posting this review, we allowed you almost a month and a half to respond. When no response was forthcoming, we posted the review. We understood that due to the worldwide pandemic there were issues with obtaining items and deliveries.
We waited almost 5 months. We were okay with that. However, what we were not okay with was when the first dresser was delivered damaged, and Vaughn Basset and Furniture Direct didn't want to even address that, we waited another month for the "replacement dresser". We were willing to accept the damaged first dresser for a concession of $300. No one wanted to let go of the almighty dollar.
When the "replacement dresser" arrived at your premises, we were ASSURED by Glenn that the dresser was inspected upon receipt and prior to loading onto your truck to deliver it to us. When it arrived at our premises, there was an area of paint on the top that was not even painted, the backing was falling off and when the men took it out of the truck, a piece literally fell off.
It was patently obvious it was NOT inspected prior to sending it out for delivery! So, by all means, take your position of being right on top of everything. We will add that Glenn was always the professional and seemed to have his hands tied. All we will say is buyer beware.

The entire process of furniture shopping at Furniture Direct was great. From the time we walked in the staff was very friendly and applied ZERO pressure. Glen helped us out and was very nice and helpful. Plus, he has some really funny stories. We decided to return a couple items because they didn't fit well in our small condo bedroom. The owner answered the phone was so nice to my wife and took the items back with no restock fees. We will never shop anywhere else!

I have been working with Furniture Direct for eight years and have always been extremely happy with their products and services. They were very easy to work with while furnishing my entire house, (including patio furniture) all within budget (which was not large) and on time. Their product knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail are excellent.
In addition to furniture, I also purchased artwork, lamps, mattresses, bedding, rugs and window treatments at Furniture Direct HH. I was very pleased with the variety of things that they offer, including types of furniture and fabrics. I am not always easy to please and they exceeded my expectations. While I purchased most of my things at one time, I have continued to add pieces at least yearly through them.
I should also add that the furniture and fabrics are very durable and have held up to many years of renters. I visited their showroom recently and can see that they continue to offer wonderful items that can please a variety of decorative tastes at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend them. I have worked worked mostly with Dennis and Glen, but everyone there is very helpful.

Just want to give a shoutout to Dennis and his staff at Furniture Direct. We just purchased these reclining couches and words can't begin to describe how amazing they are! Dennis was a huge help in figuring out exactly what we wanted for comfort and style. The couches came in promptly and the delivery process was well communicated and right on time. They also had the most competitive price as well. If you need anything for your home this is the place!

The Whole Process was a dream! I initially came to Furniture Direct as I was looking for could be a 'one stop shop' and needed to stay within a reasonable budget. I started out a little overwhelmed and not sure of exactly what I wanted for my living room space. Their design team was wonderful and helped guide and entice me until we ultimately came to a design I absolutely love!
I NEVER could have gotten this look on my own. A recent visitor told me that it was like walking into a magazine! Budget was very important to me and the team was able to suggest high quality pieces at great prices for a look that looks far from cheap! I highly recommend Furniture Direct based on my experience and will be returning for all my future home design needs.
