Furniture Design Gallery is Central Florida's premier manufacturer for custom entertainment centers, home theaters and home office suites. Modern production techniques, the experience of our craftsmen and our tradition of quality assures our customers that careful attention is given to every detail of construction.
The best way to start the process is to provide us with some information on your project. We look for a picture of the area, dimensions of the area, and if possible some kind of inspiration picture that helps illustrate style and functionality. Based on this information we can provide a budget range for your project.
This three piece wall unit is made out of cherry, stained to complement the dry bar in the room. The doors are a mitered door, not showing any end grain. Behind the TV and the side cabinet shelves are made with our 100 year old reclaimed wood! What you see behind the TV is the natural color of the lumber we got from old planks once making up the exterior of a barn in the northeast. This three piece entertainment center features our paintable speaker fabric in all the doors. It also has four glass shelves with a wood front.

Furniture Design Gallery of Sanford Florida surpassed our highest expectations for the construction and installation of a custom-built entertainment center. The design which is absolutely perfect for our home skillfully blended our ideas with those of design specialist, Daniel. FDG is to be highly commended and recognized for their customer centered communication.
Throughout the entire project FDG owner, Daniel, was consistently and readily available to speak with us and to answer all questions in a prompt and honest manner. Based on our experience, we completely trust FDG and it's employees because they do exactly what they promise according to schedule. We have found that FDG's quality of craftsmanship is exceptionally good.
The installers were highly skilled and they completed our project just as though they were working in their own home! We are just beyond completely satisfied and sincerely thank FDG for all that they have done to dramatically improve our home.

Three other bids were obtained before we chose FDG as our TV Wall installer. The reason we didn't go first to FDG was because we thought it would be the most expensive due to the quality and elaborate images we viewed in a magazine. However, we visited this showroom last and they were by far the cheapest and best designer with top quality furniture.
Amazing job and the owner is such a delight to work with. They even threw in some extra handles for the kitchen cabinet remodel (a job performed by other contractors). When you go to get your design layed out, you will leave with a detailed graph of the work. Beautiful job. I will use them in the future for other remodel projects for sure!

Wife and I visited Furniture Design and chose a beautiful wall unit with book shelves, fireplace and place for a large 60* inch TV! Staff and Abe was very professional and helpful. Delivery and setup was promised within 4-5 weeks. Got a call three days in advance scheduling a delivery time on January 7, 2021 and we accepted, ahead of time. Delivery staff was very professional adhering to COVID-19 policy, installing complete unit, testing and explaining use of Fireplace controls and everything! Left everything clean, well organized! Furniture Design Gallery is a hidden gem, it's just that simple. Extremely passionate owner who is an expert at his craft and who has driven this company to be the epitome of excellence, in both customer service and production. I am a repeat customer and it's unfortunate that eventually I will no longer have any other projects to have this company build.
I am proud of our furniture pieces and honored that it was worked on under the direction of Abe and his talented team. This company can build any kind of furniture, ornate or modern, will do free estimates, and will sketch your project so you can visualize it. I had a large custom home theater wall unit built for my home. Everyone that comes over gives us compliments on how nice it turned out. Abe was really easy to work with and was able to sketch out my vision of the unit and give me a few other ideas I didn't think of. I would recommend them to any of my family or customers.

I am a raving fan of Furniture Design Gallery and Abe's craftsmanship and design. We ordered our first media center from them around 2006 and a Murphy bed wall unit in 2018. Abe went above and beyond to make sure the design was perfect for the space each time. The time between design and installation was fast (about a month), installation was easy and flawless (thanks, Dustin), and I could not be happier with the look and quality.
Our 2018 order is painted wood with a simple, modern design, so rest assured they will expertly craft anything you need, from ornate and traditional to clean and contemporary, from stained to painted finishes.

Unlike other companies, they do not come to you for a free consultation. You have to drive all the way to Sanford AND make an appt which are ONLY available on Saturday with a designer. Needless to say, the appt was made for a week away. I showed them the designs that I liked and inquired about timeframe. They said no problem with before Christmas as long as I picked everything out on my end, which I did.
They wanted me to use the Floor & Tile place by them because of their "relationship". I stopped by and picked out tile. They wanted to charge over $1,000 for an electric fireplace and I refused stating I'd provide my own as I'd seen tons for $400-500. They tried to get me to get theirs in the $400 range but without heat which I then declined as the ones online provide heat in that range.
They stressed that it had to be front blowing, which the ones I found were as they were made to be recessed in a wall. I emailed them the link so they could see dimensions as requested. I called to make sure they'd received it which I was told they had. The lady I spoke with said she had to "research" more about it to make sure it was ok. Never heard from her again and it's been almost 2 weeks. Wouldn't recommend as it seems that unless you want to use all of their materials, they won't work with you.
