Founded in 1926 by John Stanley as Foam Rubber Products, BuyFoam.com was originally a family-owned upholstery shop. What began as an upholstery business by Stanley eventually grew to become a wholesale business that sold foam products to other upholstery shops. Then, after World War II, the Stanley brothers made the move to sell latex foam rubber, selling foam rubber and foam for cushions to shops and manufacturers around the country.
All of our high-quality foam products are made in the U.S., and, with proper use and care, can last up to 10 years from the date of purchase. It is important to note, however, that some types of foam are better suited to regular or heavy use than others and that extreme weights or use may damage foam cushions and foam padding for beds, diminishing their lifespan.

Excellent service & quality. I was looking for replacement foam for my RV dinette. I first called them with questions as I was quite nervous about sizing, type, etc. The gentleman who answered was so helpful even stating that I could send them a template and they'd handle it. I then saw their instruction videos on their website and learned exactly what to do.
I ordered the foam and had my covers sewn. The quality is amazing. Even my sewer said this is excellent quality foam. I bought the recommended XL-38, their most popular, for high use furniture.

The product is perfect and the price more than fair. Shipping and delivery need work. Ordered Nov 14 and received in early January after two phone calls. I hope this company can fix their delivery problem because the product is really good.measurement and thickness are perfect. Delivery.not so much. The man who took my 2nd phone call got right on it and was very competent. An email might be helpful but I liked speaking to a live person.

We bought feather cushion modular living room furniture and at the time it seemed like an awesome idea. But after a year and a half of daily very labor intensive fluffing. Seriously, fluffing the cushions was a work out. I contacted this company. They did an absolutely amazing job adding foam to the cushions. They look and feel so awesome! Their attention to detail is wonderful, they knife edged everything beautifully. I know this project wasn't easy because my cushions are huge like 4040 and they are bulky. Thanks guys! You did a great job, we are very happy!

I purchased three foam cushions for our sagging coach on Nov. 17th, thinking we should have them within a week or two at the most. We got an email receipt the same day, and it said we would be notified by email once the package is shipped. That sounded good. By Dec. 11th, I had heard nothing so I tried to respond to the original email, but it turns out one cannot communicate with the business via email, only by telephone, so I had to wait until a weekday during business hours.
I called as soon as I could (I think it was a Tuesday the 17th), and spoke to someone who said our order would go out ASAP and would arrive by Friday. I got a shipping notification but it wasn't for Friday the 20th. It was for the 28th! The package ended up actually arriving on the 24th. The product is great, but it took 37 days to receive it! So. high marks for the product but zero for customer service! They have to do better than 37 days! Buyers beware of extremely slow service.

I purchased several pieces of foam through the BuyFoam.com web site. The ordering experience was okay, and I promptly received an emailed transaction confirmation/invoice. The pieces arrived within a week and were packaged well. The characteristics of the foam matched the description on the web site. I let the pieces "breathe" for 48 hours before beginning to work with them.
My disappointment came when I measured them. Only one of the pieces was cut to the correct dimensions. The others were either too long, too wide, or both, and none of them was square. Trimming the foam to the correct dimensions was not difficult, but it was tedious. Considering how much foam costs, it's not too much to expect that it be cut correctly.

Absolutely HORRIBLE! I placed and paid for an order. I never received shipping info. I finally reached them and was told I'd get it "tomorrow." After 3 days I called to cancel and they just said "OK." (Not seeming to care.) I was told they would issue a refund. They never did so I called my credit card company for the refund. Today I get a notice from UPS that the package is coming. I will refuse delivery. What a joke of a company!

I have a C5 Corvette and the stock seats are not very supportive. I saw a how-to video to address this, but it requires dense foam that is about 4 thick. I found them online (BuyFoam.com) and realized that they were local so I could go to their location and get what I needed today. I'm sure that they do a great job shipping, but this is a weekend project so that was a bonus for me.
The owners were great. The took to time to show me different types of foam, told me what they recommended, and cut the pieces I needed while I waited. I never knew there were so many types of foam, or that there are so many uses. The prices were very reasonable and I got exactly what I needed. My wife wants to replace our mattress this summer and this is going to be the first place I check. I love the idea of being able to have the mattress exactly the way I want it. I also like the fact that this is a family owned business. They are highly recommended!

This is a review of my experience using the company's website BuyFoam in Feb 2015 to purchase a top for an Ottoman I decided to reupholster myself. I live in Seattle, and called 3 local upholstery stores for quotes. The quotes ranged from $75 to $165 (for a 25 by 44 3-inch high density foam). Each location told me it would take 7 to 10 days to get my order. BuyFoam offered the same product for $53.
I received an email with a PDF of the order confirmation. But the $$ was not immediately withdrawn from my account. After hearing nothing for 4 or 5 business days I called the company on a Thursday or Friday to inquire about the status of my order. The person I spoke with was courteous, and informed me that the order would ship the following Monday or Tuesday, and I would receive an email confirmation.
As promised I received an email directly from FedEx informing me that the item shipped. It arrived 4 or 5 days later. What I learned from this experience is that A) custom foam is expensive, and B) unless you want to pay a lot of money don't expect to get it overnight. This particular company appears to have an older e-commerce system (the website looks like it was designed in 1999).
But the truth is I am extremely happy with the product and I feel like I got a deal that arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Finally, I ordered the very high density foam -- and it barely registers weight when I sit on it. I am quite confident it will hold it's shape for years if not decades to come.

Foam Rubber Products is the only place in town where you can get a custom piece of foam with a density and color of your choice. The place is really cool and old fashioned. They'll get you exactly what you need at a really reasonable price. I got new foam lining for a old keyboard road case for about 20$. One thing to note, they may not cut it right away for you so you might have to put your order in and pick it up a week later. Also! Double check your dimensions!. 5 stars guys.

Family owned, the proprietors were very friendly and helpful. They cut me a mattress to my specifications right there while I waited, and I love it: it's not all that thick, but is has the perfect squishiness level. They're also more portable than most mattresses, and they packed it up to a reasonable size for easy transportation from the store.
