Ed Massey's Furniture Barn

They apparently "fixed" this piece of furniture 3 times. It comes back broken every time. I asked for a replacement and haven't heard back from them. Do yourself a favor, and get some higher quality furniture elsewhere.

My husband and I have shopped at Massey's for our furniture needs since moving to NY. We've had phenomenal customer service every time. Scott, who helped us, is great. He answered all of our questions and he did his best to get us the best deal possible.

I have been to Masseys a total of 3 times. The first time I went they got over on the price with me regarding a king bed but I chalked it up to my lack of research. The second time I went to purchase a mattress after calling about the online price. They tried to charge me $200 more but receded when I showed them their own online pricing. These shopping trips took place in 2021.

I recently went today for a dresser to add to my room that matched my bed and the salesman first misspoke regarding the price stating it would be $99 cheaper without the mirror but when I went to purchase it was priced at $529. He then gave the military discount from $529 bringing it to $476. The issue here is the website states that the price of the dresser is $476.

So the military discount should have been applied to the $476 like they did when I purchased the mattress last time and needed to correct the price. We purchased it because he claimed they simply do not do this and went to our truck to which I found that they are up pricing their items than what Ashley furniture actually sells it for. 5 minutes later I went to return it and Carl was getting red and being very rude whilst the return process was happening.

He left the store and sped away claiming he paid for the shipping from the warehouse even though we did not even leave the store yet and the item was supposedly on hand. Needless to say, if you want a deal, go straight to Ashley and skip Massey's trying to change their policy's each shopping trip. I enjoy supporting local businesses every where I go but not when the difference in cost for the same item from the manufacturer would have costed me $125 more. I hope they can correct this as I am seeing now with multiple items their "compare" prices are not in fact true.

Our sales rep was fantastic, personal, and friendly. He made choosing the right couch easy. He never pressured us but led us around to the ones he thought we'd like until we found the one we loved.

The store manager, Rich Starr was very helpful and worked with my ideas, needs and budget. What's more, they stored it free while I was waiting on an apt to be ready.then had it delivered free as well. At every point we had very professional, excellent service.

This was my first time shopping in this business and I was impressed with the prices and also the material was just as good if not better. I was shocked because I now know how overpriced the competion is for the same products. I also know the importance of being self employed how important it is for the owner to be present and it was a pleasure to see and talk to him. The sales reps were also very good! Great job!

Salesperson Rob O. was great! He greeted us after we walked in the door and let us look around without being pushy. He gave us the information we needed on what we were interested in and we made our purchase. Reasonable prices, great customer customer service.

Scott was helpful in letting us choose what we needed. He let us browse without hovering but was available when we had questions. Easy checkout process, what we were looking for was in stock, which was convenient for us. Synchrony Home card was accepted without any issues, delivery tentatively scheduled for the following week. At the current time, Massey's isn't able to remove furniture from the home and take it with them to discard, which is disappointing, but they were up front with that so I'm aware I need to handle that issue personally, which is appreciated. Scott was great in helping with purchasing our new furniture. He made sure to let us know honestly when it would be available to us as it was not in stock yet. And he didn't hover which was amazing but he was there when we needed him for help an questioning. I definitely recommend him an massey's if your looking for furniture. We looked everywhere the are the best priced and an have the best selection!

Just ordered a lift recliner chair from Collin. We were unable to come into the store so he face timed us! I had called another local store earlier who did not call back as promised. Collin took fantastic care of us and set the delivery up for next week.
