I would give zero stars if I could. The before sales and after sales experience were completely different. Make sure you get everything in writing as to what they are promising to do and verify it with a manager so that you have two people verifying their service.

Bought a $2000 Flexsteel chair during Covid. Disabled Hubby had issues reaching the power recliner button. Spoke with the owner, Shari after not returning messages. (Search Yelp reviews under not relevant due to lack of posting there.) She was RUDE, mean and unprofessional. Finally found a fix and charged $150 for a $30 part on Amazon. Chair has since fallen apart in less than a year.

Still waiting on warranty repairs. Sent letters and emails requesting help. NO REPLY! Absolutely awful after sale service and this is standard operating procedure (see Yelp) if you after problems after the sale.

If I could give Donna's a negative rating I would. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE! I purchased a "leather couch" from Donna's and I specifically said I wanted a leather couch. After two years of minimal use the leather "bonding" started to peel off. I asked Donna's to replace the couch but the only thing they would do is order a replacement piece which is still not leather and I have to pay someone to install it.

I even went back to Donna's to get resolution but she cowered into the back and sent some big dude out to deal with us. He wasn't going to budge, and when showing him pictures of the couch and asked if he would want that in his living room? he said "No I wouldn't". What kind of customer service is that?

Donna's has a terrific selection of quality furniture and wonderful customer service to go along with it. We went looking for a specific item; the staff listened to our needs and were very patient with us until we found exactly what we wanted. It's our first choice for furniture, hands down.

We were very impressed by the customer service at Donna's. Their first concern was our comfort in their furniture allowing us to return product that wound up not working for us and finding something that did. They had great selection with great pricing. Also we were able to have our lift recliners delivered the next week.

Although it takes a bit of time to get your order(s), the attention to detail (i.e. color choices, etc. from Lori) is worth the wait. Scott is also helpful with arranging deliveries to fit into your schedule. I had major surgery and was not able to be home for the delivery - he adjusted the timetable to accommodate my return home. So very appreciated.

Geoffrey and I were looking to replace our 16 year old recliners that, though still serviceable, were beginning to unambiguously deteriorate. We love to support locally owned businesses, so we dropped by Donna's Interiors to see what they had to offer. First impressions were good: the showroom is large and attractive, and the selection seemed extensive.

They were not busy - I believe we were the only customers browsing the store at the time. After about 5-10 minutes walking through the store, no one had spoken to us or offered to help. This surprised us both. We agreed to give them a few more minutes, when a twenty-something young man - not wearing a mask or any facial covering - emerged from the back of the store and walked to where the staff were seated near the front. We decided to look elsewhere for our new chairs at that point.

Good selection to choose from, but more importantly, knowledgeable people to work with. I definitely didn't want a recliner going in; but when I was told that the distance from floor to top of seat cushion was 19"-20", and the club chair I was replacing was only 16" and the taller height would make it so much easier to get out of, especially at my age, I was sold. I could still use an ottoman if I wished to maintain the look I wanted, I got one with a motorized foot rest lift and promptly fell asleep in it the first day

Two months ago I begin my search for a powered leather reclining couch; something that would match the clean modern lines of my newly reupholstered vintage mid century modern sectional and Knoll Barcelona chairs. As the selection here on the central coast leaves quite a bit to be desired, I frequently shopped vendors in Southern California while in the area on business.

I finally located a beautiful Flexsteel Cody unit that fit the bill perfectly in Agoura Hills. The couch was offered by a large chain at a phenomenal price but they did not have the color I needed, so I was going to have to order it and wait for an October delivery date, then arrange for my own truck and driver as they don't deliver to the central coast.

I had noticed Donna's Interiors was a flex steel dealer, but made the incorrect assumption Donna's was an interior design firm only and did not actually carry furniture in-house. Luckily I thought to call them and see if they could simply order the unit so it wouldn't cost me an additional $300 to $400 to have it delivered. Not only do they carry an extensive line of beautiful, well-made furniture, but they actually had the exact unit, in the correct color on the floor; it had literally been delivered and set up in their showroom that day!

I made arrangements to have the unit held and quickly drove back to Arroyo Grande from SoCal to pay for it. The sales lady was excellent, unfortunately I don't remember her name. I will say that I was boggled at the great selection of high-quality furniture they carry, and the prices were just as competitive as the large high quality chains down south.

The couch was delivered at no cost a few days later, and the delivery team not only moved the old heavy unit out to my garage, but also disassembled it for easy transport when we donated it to a family in need. I have two bedrooms and the dining room is like to re furnish and you can bet Donna's will be the first place I shop!

I Helped my grandma do a return. She's elderly and couldn't do it until she had some help. The item was purchased in December 2019 and they kindly refunded the item today August 5, 2020. Good service and kind people. I took a look around while I waited and the items were nicely priced for the quality of furniture there. Thanks for being kind of us especially at this moment.

I moved from the Bay area and was trying to furnish my new home. Met with Lori on paint colors.good eye for color. Stopped in at the store, . Nice selection. Lori is patient, very friendly and helped with furniture selection. Good pricing; purchased 3 Lexington pieces and after struggling to find a desk I liked anywhere, Lori suggested a b custom desk, hutch and credenza by Stuart David.

Wood choices and finishes were plentiful. The company prides themselves on being Artisans and everything is Made in America. Quite a selection presented from a catalog loaded with options. Just got delivery! Love it. Everything was handled carefully, making sure not to mark up my walls. Piece showed up with some glazing issues on the desk, (it happens), and immediately Lori offered to take it back to get it fixed.

No hassle. Really appreciated that. My experience has only been pleasant, friendly and professional from the people in the store to Geoff the delivery person. I will continue to support this family business whenever I can. Check them out you won't regret it.

Very pleased with the sofa I purchased. Kimberly was extremely helpful. She presented all my options and then walked away letting me decide on my own what I wanted. Always greeted me with a smile every time I came into the store. Her professionalism, personable approach and openness to answer my many questions played a big part in my purchase from Donna's Interiors.

When they finally said my chairs were in, I drove my mini van over to pick them up. I could only fit one in at a time, and came back with my son for the second chair. Scott loaded it up for me and started to say there was a balance due, then, mid sentence, said that Donna's owed us money ( around $100 was what Scott said) I told him I'd deal with a credit the next day. later that same evening, I get a call from some woman at the store. didn't catch her name as I had company over and the noise level was high.

The woman started to scream at me that I hadn't paid for the chairs. she was dialed to #11 and continued hysterically that Scott told me that I owed money. I went in the next morning to pay and go get the apology I'd asked for while on the phone with her. I still have not received that apology even though I told Karen that I wanted a call back. I'm still waiting.

I have never written a Yelp review before, and I hope to never post another one. I went into Donna's Interiors and worked with the owner's daughter, I believe. She was great! I picked out a couch, but had not made up my mind as to which of two couches I would purchase. I was also looking for a bed. I found the bed I liked at a big brand company, but wanted to give my business to a local company.

I went back to Donna's and ended up with a different salesperson than the original lady. This salesperson told me she had ordered a certain bed for her daughter. I told her the price and she said she could meet that price. When the bed was set up, it had a gap, as shown in the picture. To avoid bumping into the footboard, I have to push the mattress all of the way to the end of the footboard and stuff pillows at the top.

I called the salesperson, she requested a picture, which I sent her. Her response was, "Oh, my, they would take care of it." She said they would order me the headboard and take back one footboard. After waiting months for the bed and then months for the headboard, they called to deliver the headboard and take back the footboard. I was then told I would owe another $359.00 for the headboard.

I never would have ordered this bed without the headboard had I been told how much of a gap would be at the end of my bed, and I would have gone with the sale at Pottery Barn had I known this bed that has a gap without a headboard would cost me $359.00 more than the other bed. She told me she did order the bed for her daughter and there is only a five-inch gap, which most people wouldn't complain about.

After I had already ordered the bed but went back before the bed had arrived, I was going to order a couch. That couch was on sale, which I had taken a picture of it in the past. When I asked this same salesperson the price now, she said she was going to give me a great deal. She deducted $100 from the couch and added $100 to the recliner price. Perhaps my problem is really just with this particular salesperson and the owner would have stood behind her product and been honest in our dealings.

We have been buying furniture at Donna's for years. We have never had an issue or problem. Just the opposite. Everyone is always friendly and professional. No one has ever been pushy with us and they never give us that "Sales Pitch" that so often is used in other furniture stores. They have nice well-made furniture and a large selection for every type of style; it's often hard to choose. Donna's sales are wonderful if you can't afford full price.

When we inquired about some of the negative reviews on-line we were told that they stand by what they sell and resolve any complaints or problems people have. People often forget to remove their review once everything is resolved. We bought our new furniture from Kimberly who went out of her way to make sure we got what we wanted at a great price! Thank you Kimberly and Donna's!

Bought a $4000 couch and love seat. Delivered 11-2016. I person in the home. 4-2018 noticed material coming unstiched. Was told 1 yr warranty on material and stiching. So much for quality furniture.

Our experience at Donna's was excellent. My wife is very particular, coming from a family of interior designers, and she knows quality when seeing it. Donna was very helpful showing us many different styles and manufacturers. Once my wife decided on a couch, Donna took the time to show us all the different fabrics, accent pillows and finishes available.

We never felt rushed or pressured. From the moment we walked in till the friendly delivery guys installed the couch, all was perfect. We could not be happier. The couch is exactly what we ordered. I like to support local businesses and would recommend Donna's to everyone.

It has been years since we made our purchase of our sofa set from Donna's. it started out bad upon delivery when one of the cushions was like 2 thinner than the rest of the cushions. The quality of the furniture was 0 and it broke down like real fast. It was a big mistake on my part doing business with this co.

We drove all the way from Huntington Beach to Arroyo Grande to purchase a flexsteel sofa/love seat set. This store had the most flexsteel sofas out on the floor that I have seen. There was an extensive wall of fabrics to go through. Kimberly did an AMAZING job of helping us choose between different frames and then assisted us in our search of just the right shade for the couch as well as complementing pillow colors. Overall, we had a great experience at Donna's Interiors and we are very excited to get our new couch in 10 weeks!

I was a bit reluctant to shop at Donna's due to some of the reviews, but ended up buying a beautiful piece to use as a TV console. I purchased it on Thursday and their truck was full for Friday deliveries. When I explained that I would be out of town for an extended period of time, they readily accommodated me by adding my large console to their busy delivery schedule. The sales team, Donna and the delivery team were all eager to please. It also feels good to support a small, family owned, local business!

Extremely disappointed that after one year, the surface of our leather chair was peeling off with white material beneath the color of the 'genuine high grade leather' seat. Donna offered to give me the name of a leather repair person where I could have it fixed. Do you think I would ever buy another piece of furniture from this store? The leather seat in my car or other leather furniture have never done this. They are selling poor quality leather under the guise of high quality leather.

I can't believe I have never been in this store until now! My partner and I have been furniture-shopping for a few months, and I have had a really hard time making a decision on a sofa/loveseat/fancychair set-up. There were so many beautiful, comfy, built-to-last pieces but I can get so overwhelmed making large purchases! Thankfully the associate, Kristi, was so personable and knowledgable, providing the highest level of customer service I have received at any of the furniture shops in the 805, I felt relaxed and more confident and aware of my options at Donna's. Donna herself was there, and she was also very kind and knowledgable. We left without making the purchase, but we'll be back soon. I'll keep you posted :
