Custom Furniture Works - St. Charles County - O'Fallon

Just had our families antique roll top desk and chair refinished. Did not recognize them when I received them back what a great job! We have used them before but the work simply speaks for itself I could recommend no one else in the city.

We used custom furniture Works years ago and we're very happy with the work they did. So fast forward, a gazillion years later, we needed some more furniture upholstered. And calling custom was the smartest thing we did. They did an amazing job, they were pleasant to be around, professional, and willing to make you happy. You can't beat it. Love them.

I highly recommend Custom Furniture Works. We had a family heirloom nightstand and dresser that had seen better days and then the dresser was broken during our move into our new house. Custom Furniture Works fixed and restored the dresser and nightstand to pristine condition, better than I could have hoped. The owners are incredibly kind as well.

I had several pieces of furniture that were in need of serious attention. Customs Furniture Works eliminated scratches and scars that had accumulated scratched over nearly 6 decades. The work was phenomenal. The staff are professional and personable. I am pleased beyond measure with their work.

CFW was a great experience from start to finish. Customer service was excellent, website for quotes is straight forward&fair price considering the skill & talent these upholsterers have. My chair turned out beautiful, they allowed me to bring in my own fabric, they always answered all my questions prior to job via email, phone and in person. I appreciate the time they took explaining the process of how the chair will be repaired and what it needed and what it didn't need - Love supporting this small business, I respect the craft of the workers and enjoyed talking to everyone who works there. All around, an incredible experience. I bought this chair on consignment and it was still stuffed with horsehair and hay. They knew when it was made (1880s) and who made it. They came in on the lower end of the price quote (which was great to begin with) and finished earlier than expected. True experts in craft and knowledge. How friendly they were was just icing on the cake.

I have used Custom Furniture Works for several projects over the past five years. They restored my 100 + year old roll top desk, reupholstered 3 chairs and 1 ottoman (which was destroyed by 2 dogs), refinished 90 + year old bedroom suite (even enlarged the headboard/footboard from double to queen size) and the final project was refinishing the dining room set which included adding legs to the china cabinet and adding cushions to the hard wooden chairs. I can not say enough good praises to Jeff, Dawn and crew who took my visions and transformed into a reality. It has truly been worth the wait. Some photos below

These guys are the best in town. You will pay top dollar but you will be extremely pleased with the result. I had a family rocker from the 1800's that I almost threw away it was in such bad shape. But I just could not do it. I have no before shot but I now have a piece that will go for another couple generations.
