If you need a futon you should 100% get one from this store. we needed one for our game room/office and found the best one ever built in my opinion. It is a family-owned and operated place from what I can tell and the entire time I was there I felt like I was with family. she took care of us better than any mainstream brand name store would. you don't feel like a number on a board in this store. plus you can help out a small business owner rather than helping greedy corporate America money. I'm very happy with our purchase of an amazing futon. we bought a clickity-clack (as she called it) one from amazon for 350 dollars that felt like I was sitting on a bench made of brick. we weren't happy so we came into this store and we walked out about 30 mins with a new wooden frame very comfortable memory foam mattress for exactly 800 dollars. she even threw in a free cover and a pad to help the mattress not slide on the frame. great store and even better person. Leslee was amazing and she didn't bullshit us at all! thank you so much!

This store is open by appointment- need a futon? give them a call! I had been considering a futon as my primary couch and sometimes guest bed for months. I had questions! I made an appointment and Leslee was terrific, knowledgeable and really can help you figure out what you need! She had a terrific team to call to arrange delivery and set up and they couldn't be nicer and more efficient if they tried! From start to finish, I felt well taken care of and I love my futon! So do my cats!

Lesle is AWESOME! She has an encyclopedic knowledge of the futon industry. If you are wondering if a futon might be a good choice for you, go see her. She will help you, even if it turns out that a futon would not be the best choice for you. She has impecable ethics and would rather not make a sale than sell you something that you will later regret.

The owner was so nice! She was able to direct me to everything I needed right away. Futon delivered and assembled within hours after I left the store.

Had an overall awesome experience here today. My husband and I needed a futon for our guest room and Leslee helped us pick the perfect one. We ended up going with the Ontario queen frame in antique walnut with a very comfortable memory foam mattress. We showed her a picture of our furniture and she helped us pick the right color frame and a beautiful bluish green cover to match everything. Oh, and the best part - same day delivery! I just love this place! I bought my very first piece of furniture here 20 years ago when I moved to San Diego from Ohio! A queen twilight futon! Leslee the owner is so great! Go get a futon that you can actually see in real life and not on a computer screen.

What can we say that others have not. Leslee was great to work with, very friendly and knowledgeable. The store has a great selection of futon frames and futons. Today Michael came and assembled our futon and did a great job. Very cautious as to not damage anything and made sure it was nice and clean when he was done. Very happy with our purchase and already thinking about another one.

It took me a while to finally purchase my futon and I did some thorough shopping. All research pointed back to Creative Futons. They have the best selection and Michael and Leslee are great to work with. Michael's knowledge of all of their futons was extensive. He was able to answer all of my complex questions and help me make the right decision.

I have a small studio so the particulars are important. I ended up buying a full size Rockewell futon and memory foam mattress. Its a wallhugger so its so easy to just open and place back. Its perfect in my studio, I may go back for the matching ottoman but we'll see. Best in San Diego I think and they're priced right.

We purchased a cool gel mattress, cover, frame and the coolest fuzzy pillows. We had the pleasure of being helped by Michael. He was very knowledgeable about the products and has one of the warmest calming personalities I have come across in a very long time. We look forward to coming back again in the future. Great store that only sells Futons. Prices are high but so is quality. The futon I bought actually feels nicer than my $900 mattress.

Stopped in to support local business rather than buying online. Offered to pay all in cash so she wouldn't face credit card fees. She generously offered to waive the delivery and set-up fee. Paying $1400 for a new futon and mattress was a bit out of the range we were looking to spend, so we put half down and returned several days later to settle the remaining.

Upon our return, we opted to go with the less than greatest mattress, at which point she attempted to hit us with a restocking fee. Can't charge a restocking fee if I haven't bought it or taken it yet. She was very upset at the change in mattress and after our payment she declined to further waive the delivery and set up fee. Would've been nice to hear that before we paid, and looking back we should've just bought the same model online for $900.

Upon our own assembly of the futon, we discovered that the futon cover which we also purchased was too big and the wrong size. Called Leslie back and she was confused at why it wouldn't fit as she gave us the right one. She told us to bring the cover back and we could wait until replacement came in. Her attitude and frustrations blew the whole deal. It's was easier for us to just move along and never be bothered with their service again. Now every time I sit down to relax, I can't help but think of our rude, overpriced encounter. Buyers beware.

My first time in store I was greeted by the owner leslee, she was very unpleasant and unprofessional. as she was telling me about a futon she would stop to yell at an employee who argued back to her, in front of me. As the sale was coming to a close she became more and more hostile. I ended up leaving and not buying anything. I could have dealt with adequate service but this was ridiculous. take your money somewhere else.

This isn't so much for the shop now as it is for the mattress they sold me back in 2009. The mattress is now in Grapevine Texas and made the move well. It's lying on my futon now.calling my name.begging me to come visit again. Alas poor mattress - you have to wait until tonight. Thank you Creative Futons for selling me one awesome mattress!

Great experience ordering from Creative Futons over the phone. I ordered the same day and they delivered and set up at my place pretty quickly. They have a great selection of futon frames; different styles for you to choose. I ordered the Dillon wall hugger frame because it's armless and looks like a platform bed frame when folded down. It is also much easier to fold down and fold back up from the front than other types which you need to fold from the side.

I wanted to replace an old wire type frame that I bought secondhand. I used to get terrible backaches for quite some time and would get massages for it but after sleeping on my innerspring futon on my new frame I woke up with no aches. Pretty comfortable in both the sofa and sleep position. Definitely check this place out.

I think it's well written and deserves to be posted. She's probably right. Her futons are probably better than the ones I think are so lame. Small business owners rock! I must be doing something right if almost all of my 24 futons on the showroom floor didn't resemble 'those lame futons'. I have spent the last 20 years making sure I didn't sell the Wallmart crap because I agree with you- those futons are not worth having. I even have 'memory foam' futons. We have 12 types of futon mattresses.

None are the rotten cotton style that have given futons their bad reputation. I would like to invite you back to my store and let you test drive my favorite and see if futons still seem lame to you. I am there every Saturday and my name is Leslee. Please come in as soon as possible because I would really appreciate a fair review based on my products.
