Ralph Jordan, founder, started making fine cherry and walnut furniture in 1947. Antiques were mostly refinished at the beginning, but soon Mr. Jordan was making furniture just like the antiques were made. Some 62 years later, Mr. Jordan and his son and daughter plus 16 craftsmen now manufacture a comprehensive line of solid cherry and solid walnut furniture.

One of the few great furniture stores left! Everything is 100% real gorgeous cherry or walnut, handmade, and true heirloom quality. After getting one piece from Colonial House, the rest of your furniture seems so inferior because this stuff is the real deal. Wow.
