We can't thank Cole's Appliance and Kevin Krasney enough the amazing customer service, product suggestions, pricing, and all around care for us. He supplied us with 2 refrigerators, 1 range, 1 microwave/oven combo, 1 dishwasher, 2 beverage centers and 1 wine fridge. Kevin was able to satisfy our needs as quickly as humanly possible, even with, and especially despite COVID.

That's not to say we weren't delayed with our final piece, BUT they got us our items faster than anyone could believe and when others couldn't get theirs. This speaks volumes not only about their problem solving skills, but their positive relationships with vendors. They made us feel like we were their only customers. Kevin was ALWAYS available via phone or email.

He gave us complete honest answers and stood by his word. Their staff was also a pleasure to work with and seem genuinely happy; another testament to the quality company Kevin runs.

I was recommended to the store by a friend who has a large office and furnished primarily through them. I was further sold when I found out that the business is family run and has along history in Chicago. The furniture is high quality and the staff is great. We had one snafu for a couch that too big for my building freight elevator. The staff handled the problem professionally. Ultimately, I got a smaller sofa which is so comfortable that I can melt in to it! Thank you Charlie (one of the managers) and to Time and Jose and Jose (delivery) for really excellent, professional service and a great product!

If You are in need of fabulous, unique furniture at prices that are fair and outstanding, above and beyond service, then I highly recommend you shop at Coles! They have a fabulous creative and talented in staff designer that has an eye for creating the space you want to come home to every day! I love the furniture that I purchased and I am so appreciative of the no pressure attitude to purchase until I was ready.

You will be treated as a friend and will enjoy the lay out of the store and the history of the building. I am now a loyal customer and will purchase my appliances when needed at Coles! Family run, caring, thoughtful and honest. What a gem!

I'm very happy to have found Cole's Appliances and Furniture. I wanted to order a retro Refrigerator for a new office at work. Since my first call/contact with Cole's (Gary) Appliance, they were very helpful, they gave me all the details I needed and time frame to receive the item. Honestly very upfront/direct on all of the info., great service and very pleasant to work with.

Everything went through as planned, very carefully delivered and arrived perfect! It is rare to find stores like this today. I would strongly recommend Cole's Appliance - honest group of people who care about their business and service, and I will be happy to shop there in the future. Thank you to Cole's!

Cole's was easy to work with as I was shopping a new refrigerator. Kevin responded promptly to my email questions. Gary was helpful onsite when I went to the store to see the floor models. Because stock is limited for all appliance sources I knew I could consider the ones in-stock or wait & wait for stock to become available. Delivery men Tim, Jose and Orlando were wonderful!

They were friendly, knowledgeable and very respectful of my home and property. Tim was the lead and addressed my concerns. Cole's was able to deliver the fridge I selected the next day because they carry stock and have an experienced delivery team. Price was competitive to big box stores. I wanted a top freezer GE or Frigidaire, slightly smaller than my former side-by-side. I wish I could give 6 stars. Due to a broken part, we were without a clothes dryer from mid-July until late October. Because of parts shortages, there was no timetable for when we'd get the part. One estimate was December. Cole's supplied appliances to the new building we moved into. They didn't do the installation, nor were they obligated to provide product support. Yet, when I called to ask if they could help expedite the part, Shawn jumped right in.

When it became apparent the part wasn't going to arrive anytime soon, she insisted to the manufacturer that they give us a new dryer, even though delivery of new appliances are months out. Well, we got our new dryer because of Cole's persistence. In addition, Cole's installed the new dryer, which they were not obliged to do. Needless to say, I'll be buying my appliances from Cole's from now on.

These guys are great. Why use them? Because they will be Abt's prices, and have much more personal customer service where you can actually talk to a live person. We bought an induction stovetop and oven from them, they beat Abt's price, they were familiar with the electric voltage requirement details for the appliance, and were very supportive with answers to questions.

Two months later, my dishwasher broke, which I had bought from Abt. Abt said they would send a repair person in 3 weeks for $181. I called Kevin at Cole's, he asked what was wrong, talked me through it so I was able to easily fix it myself. Why would a rational human drive all the way up to Abt?

Purchase: full kitchen (range/oven, microwave/hood, dishwasher, refrigerator) I can't say enough positive things about Cole's! I decided in early August to replace my kitchen appliances (20+ years old) and called Cole's to get a quote. Kevin got back to me within 2 days, and we were able to schedule a delivery window for the following week. The delivery team was prompt and professional on one of the hottest days of the year, and they hauled out my old appliances (2.5 flights of back porch stairs in Chicago) and brought the new ones in. Oscar (the installer) was in my kitchen for most of the day hooking up all of the new appliances, even going so far as making a side trip to pick up a part he needed to get the dishwasher installed correctly. Cole's is a great local business, I'd recommend them to anyone.

Cole's to the rescue! What to do when your refrigerator full of food goes out right before a busy 4th of July weekend? The big box stores and the other large local appliance dealer were all quoting at least 7-10 days to deliver a new one. Enter local neighborhood store Cole's! Gary was was able to get me a new fridge at the same price as the big guys, and Kevin reworked his schedule and delivered on time the next day! Great store, great people, and a personal touch. Definitely recommend.

I recently bought a new apartment and its basically empty and I needed to shop for some furniture, appliances and stuffs. My friend recommended Cole's Appliance and Furniture because they also bought their things in here so I decided to buy in here as well. The staff in the store is very nice and knowledgeable while explaining the functions and descriptions of every furniture and appliances.

It is great that they have a variety of fabrics for every furniture where I had a lot of choices to which I am comfortable at. After almost an hour of shopping I decided to buy the set of furniture for the living room and few appliances such as television, refrigerator and an oven. I only bought a few and what I think is I needed the moat as of the moment.

They delivered everything to my unit perfectly. Everything was good and I am happy for my purchase and I got it all for a fairly price. I still have a lot to buy and will definitely choose them again.

Very poor service. The product and pricing were mediocre. The service was repulsive. The installation guy damaged my product and kitchen cabinets and no compensation was offered. He was also very rude and aggressive in regards to the situation. His partner said his name was Tim. Would not recommend this business to anyone else. Better off just going to ABT or Loews.

They stand behind the products they sell. I had some issues with the manufacturer and really stepped up to make sure my issues were fixed. I highly recommend using them.

Absolutely love this place! I've bought living room furniture in custom upholstery in the past and love it. You can't beat their prices and all of their furniture is incredibly well made with a huge variety of fabrics to choose from. Most recently, I bought a dishwasher from Coles and am thrilled so far. Kevin is so helpful and amazing with customer service.

I had many questions that kept coming up on my recent dishwasher purchase and he was immediately responsive to emails and phone calls and really informative in helping me choose my dishwasher within the price range we wanted. I got a Bosch and Oscar installed it. He was great! I got The dishwasher the day after my purchase too! This is not typical but I got lucky. I prefer Coles to big box stores because they can match or beat any price and the customer service they provide can't be beat.

Caveat emptor - no returns! I bought a nice appliance package for my new kitchen. Cole's was recommended to me by my contractor. Gary was our salesman. They were slightly less expensive than Abt (about 3%), and close to home, so I went with them. Everything went well. About 8 months later I needed to replace my washer/dryer. I live in a condo, and the stacked W/D was in a closet.

I called Gary, we measured the closet, and he assured me that the new GE front-loader washer and dryer (stackable, not single unit stacked) would fit in my closet. The installers came, and "installed" the washer. It was about 1/2" too deep to put the closet door back on, but I have a thick door and thought I could replace it. They installed the dryer on top of it.

I wasn't watching them, as I am WFH (Covid) and had a conference call. As my call finished, they were getting ready to leave. Now is when the installers show me that 1) they had to pull the washer out to install the dryer, and now it is 4" further out, no way is any door going on; and 2) NOW they show me that the washer is not plugged in because it is 110 and my closet only has 220.

They left in a hurry. I called Gary the next day, and asked about replacing it. I was even willing to pay a restocking fee. He informed me that they do not take returns; once it's installed it is yours. He gave me a nice speech about how they are in the solutions business, and he would help me. When I called back to follow up, he told me that his electrician was booked for the next 10-12 weeks, so he simply couldn't give me a referral. Upshot: I gave the brand new W/D to my husband's brother, and we bought a stacked W/D at Abt. Guess what - Abt takes back appliances for any reason within 30 days. Now I know where I will be shopping going forward, and it won't be Cole's!

Bought a washer/dryer combo, works great. The tape/exhaust hose for the dryer came loose and even though we were out of the initial warranty period, I called to see if anything could be done, and Cole's sent someone out! The connected the hose back up to the exhaust/wall with screws, so it won't come loose again. Excellent service from sale to installation and afterward, highly recommend!

Late this summer we needed a new washing machine and found very low inventory across this city. Major appliance stores were telling me it would be a three week wait, at least. I remembered buying a refrigerator from Coles years ago and called them just to see if they would have anything. They did! Within a few days they delivered a Speed Queen and I have been so happy with it.

This is an industrial washer.not magazine pretty, but so efficient and tough. I would recommend Speed Queen to anyone with teenage boys or heavy duty laundry needs. Recently we had some problems with our old connection hoses to the machine. Coles was incredible. They came out during a major snowstorm and put in new hoses, etc. The communication was great and very professional. Thank you!

Buying new kitchen appliances shouldn't be this easy or, dare I say, enjoyable. My contractor recommended Cole's and I've never been happier that I took someone's advice. I'd been looking at an appliance bundle at ABT and found the same bundle with newer models for less money at Cole's. Shopping during Covid is never easy but I made an appointment to go into the showroom and, aside from my spectacular salesman Gary, I was the only person there. Gary was knowledgeable and friendly and made everything easy- and he was great to chat to as well. Even when my kitchen job got delayed they were flexible and held onto my order as long as I needed them to. Would definitely buy from them again!

Save your time and go to a better dealer. They gave us a good price but they installed it unlevel with scratches and damaged our cabinets. I've emailed them over 4 times across 6 months and every time they say they are about to fix it. I wish they had saved all our time and just admitted they would not be doing that. Even if I had to pay more I would go to abt for my next purchase.

Delivery was excellent. Two guys, Tim and Valentin, were friendly, professional and were very careful in delivering our refrigerator which was extremely heavy and bulky. Both guys wore face masks and were careful in our home. They also delivered washer and dryer previously with same high level of customer service and care. We definitely recommend Cole's for appliance needs.

Think you have to drive to a suburb that starts with Glen to get your appliances, high end or otherwise? Not so much. I bought a chest freezer here and Gary happily price matched Home Depot. Shop local and support great neighborhood businesses like Cole's!

We recently replaced all of the appliances in our household. We wanted to support a local business so we decided to go with Cole's instead of the usual big box stores. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful (Special shout outs to Shawn and Oscar). We had an idea of what we wanted and worked with Shawn to see what was available. She reviewed our list and provided different brands/models for us to choose from that were actually better than the ones we selected. Oscar and his crew came out to our home (really appreciate the fact that he and his crew came in with masks etc) to take all the measurements to ensure that everything we ordered would fit correctly.

The installation was painless and everything is working flawlessly. The best part? Everything came out to about 300 dollars less than if we had went to ABT to make the same purchase. and everything was delivered and installed within a week. With ABT the majority of the appliances were back ordered until the end of October!

From ordering to delivery, my experience with Cole's was amazing. Kevin was great about giving options in different price ranges and made selecting my appliances streamlined. Once the appliances arrived, I was very lucky that all of my appliances (even a substitute that had to be made last minute due to our error) were able to be delivered complete and on time. Even the team that delivered the appliances was professional and friendly. Kevin worked with us through everything and we are so grateful. Can't recommend them enough!

Being in the sales business customer service is so important. Kevin nails it out of the park. He provides a great service at great prices and I love it's small and local. You can not go wrong if you pick Coles for appliances or furniture. Thank you for assisting me and providing a great service!

My wife and I recently renovated our kitchen and had a great experience with Gary at Cole's. He walked us through options and educated us about the products available to us. He was very quick with information for our cabinet maker and with all communication. We will definitely return for any future appliance needs!

Cole's Appliance comes through again. A little over 12 years ago we bought our first couch from Cole's. We had an excellent experience and got a quality product. Recently our family decided to remodel our entire first floor including our kitchen. We initially went to home depot to get our appliances and before we made the purchase, we decided to take a look at Cole's. AND I am so glad we did! Gary spent nearly 2 hours with me on the first visit.

He listened to our family's needs and truly helped us make an informes decision. From deciding on the appliance make and style, writing up the order, and finally the delivery (with Tim the delivery guy and his team), everything has been outstanding! Thank you, Gary! We won't buy appliances anywhere else!

I have bought appliances from Coles since 1990 and always a pleasure. today I had a problem with a Samsung refrigerator and Coles worked extensively to help get a credit and purchase a new one. Coles has always helped with making sure that all products work great and assisting in replacement. Both Barry and Kevin are very knowledgeable and I always recommend that all of my friends and family buy from them and they also have great furniture too.

I have bought numerous appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and washers and dryers. Always an easy experience. And also the backoffice is always there too.

Loved the appliances we bought from them for the kitchen and the washer/dryer. The prices were great too, across the board significantly less than other places we looked from and better selection too. The installation went great, thanks to Jason and his partner who did everything - very professional and friendly. Overall, Kevin and his team are fantastic! We'll definitely buy from them again and highly recommend!

I recently bought a Bosch dishwasher from Cole's after our old one failed. Gary helped me with my purchase. Gary was great -- super knowledgeable and honest, and not at all pushy. And Cole's gave me a better price and better personal service than any of the big boys. Most importantly, Cole's was able to order and install the dishwasher within 3 days.

Given that we had no working dishwasher (and three kids who create a lot of dirty dishes) we we're really hoping for a quick turnaround. Gary and Cole's made it happen. In short, skip the big boys (Home Depot, Lowe's, Abt, etc.) and go straight to Cole's. Not only are they a family-owned business that cares about their customers, they are better and cheaper than anyone else out there. Going forward, I will only buy appliances from them.

I highly recommend Cole's. I needed to buy a good quality couch for a new office in a short period of time. I spent a long time shopping around and came across Cole's. They are a family owned business (which I always like to support). The staff are very friendly and helpful. They know the products inside and out, but aren't pushy at all about selling.

It is a very relaxed environment. I bought a beautiful couch that I absolutely love. I've been getting pretty much non stop compliments. Cole's sells affordable, great looking, comfortable, and quality furniture.

I definitely want to give a loud shout out to Cole's. We first shopped with them about ten years ago when we bought a lovely red Rowe couch upon which I am perched as I write this review. Yep, that's right. We still have it and it even looks good because 1) We take pretty awesome care of our things, and 2) Cole's sells quality products.

When we needed a couch, we chose Cole's because the price was fair and the service was great. We were in the neighborhood today and decided to stop by. My kids had a blast trying out the different pieces of furniture, peering through the vents on the second floor and opening up the fridges. And you know what? We didn't even get a side eye.

This is a family business, you guys, and they GET kids. They even have bowls of free candy all over the place, which you could view as a positive or negative, I suppose, but it's a thoughtful gesture. Today's visit proved that Cole's prices are still great and the service is as friendly as it gets. When we're ready to part with our beloved red couch, we'll be sure to buy our next one at Cole's.

It's been several years since my last review and I've become an even bigger fan of Cole's. After my refrigerator purchase, I used Cole's to replace a broken dishwasher and two through-the-wall air conditioners. When my parents moved into a condo and wanted to upgrade their appliances, I enthusiastically recommended Cole's.

After shopping around, they were happiest with Cole's prices and friendliness and ordered from them. When I sold my condo and opted to rent for a while, I thought my days of needing Cole's might be coming to an end. Lo and behold Cole's not only does appliances, they do furniture too. In need of a new couch, I did my research and came up with a few well reviewed brands.

I checked out the brand at a few other local furniture stores and decided to pop into Cole's to see what they had to offer. Not only did they carry Rowe, the brand I wanted, they had the exact sofa I wanted on display *and* offered the best price for it. The hardest part of the whole process at Cole's was picking a fabric - so.many.choices.

Per usual, the delivery guys were friendly and efficient. Yes, there are some bigger, family-run operations out there *cough* *cough* ABT *cough* *cough* and they may be fine, but I don't think they can match the personal touch you'll get with Cole's.
