I bought a pelletstove at the Best Fire store in Brunswick NY. Great, knowledgeable and friendly sales person, but the customer service after the sale was basically non existent.

The pilot light was out due to power outages. Anthony restarted it and checked everything to be sure all was working well. He added new "embers", and cleaned the glass. He was friendly, courteous, explained what he was doing. He had nothing but good things to say about working for Best Fire!

We bought a bestfire 22kw boiler fire around 6 years ago serial number 149 35019 it has just developed a large hole in the water boiler sending very hot ash filled water all under the floor of my boat, 6 years is a rediculusly short lifespan for a cast iron stove, 1cannot recommend this fire! that's the end of the Fire. the Doors also never fitted properly so it cost us probably thousands in extra fuel!

Oh and they sent me the wrong fire in the first place i wanted a single door and they sent a double door but as i had struggled half a mile with it to my boat i left it there, not good quality at all.

Grace and I are over the moon happy with the work Best Fire provided at our home. Keith and the rest of the installers were true professionals. All aspects of the job were completed as expected and for the price as quoted. The stone work came out splendid. The Gas Fireplace insert works like a charm but the pellet stove is the most impressive. Because of the technology that Harmon provides our pellet consumption is way down. In addition our home is now warmer than ever and with far less maintenance. Could not be happier. All around great experience. Good work Best Fire Team!

We visited the Albany location a few times to look for outdoor furniture and a fire pit table. The staff has always been helpful. When we were there in March we started to work with Craig. He was excellent! He took the time to work with us, show us different options and he even set up a fire pit table so we can see how it worked and what the fire would look like. He answered all our emails the same day. He has been a pleasure to work with and we're looking forward to getting everything this summer.

These guys were great. We started from scratch. They had to go through the wall and build inside and out. Done in half the time they had allotted. That was 2 years ago and we've had no issues at all.

We had a great experience with our fireplace install. We had a very explicited very detailed bill, which we didn't get with a local dealer. We had a appointment with our local company and they had us meet with and installer that couldn't answer any of our questions (thanks for nothing). Craig called us often to make sure of our progress on our end of refacing our fireplace.

Good people to do business with and go out of their way to work out any and all problems. Great prices, everyone there treated us very friendly and had answers for every question we had. Well worth going to, give them an A+ for all their helpfulness and making everything easy going.

The Best Fire guys were very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions about the weber propane grills I was interested in. They even took me on a VIDEO CHAT showing me the different grills I was interested in since we have to do social distancing now. We were able to do the entire purchase over the phone and the grill was delivered assembled to my driveway. Got a call 10 minutes before they arrived w/the delivery saying they'd be there in 10 minutes. Gotta go - steak on!

We had visited and left a deposit on an Absoulte 43 at another area business. The stove never arrived and we're fighting for our deposit. By phone, I called Jason at Best Fire, made the entire deal over the phone. He advised the stove would arrive the following Wednesday which it did. He said they'd test fire it which they did. They said they'd call on Wednesday which they did.

They said the stove and all needed parts would be ready for me to pickup on Saturday morning at 9:00 AM and it was. The point I'm trying to make here is they tell you what's going to happen then deliver on that. I picked the stove and all parts up Saturday morning and installed it on Sunday. Best Fire gave us the Best Experience. From the sales floor, to reception and even the warehouse folks were simply the best. They couldn't have been more helpful. I strongly encourage you to do business with Best Fire!

Unsure what these other bad reviews here are all about. The Yelp accounts they're under seem suspect. Anyway, if I could give these 10 stars I would. The whole experience with Best Fire Service Department was simply tremendous. My story: the previous homeowner installed a new propane fireplace from Best Fire in 2015. In 2018, I began to have a soot issue. Had no idea where to start, so called Best. Talked to Vic in the service department.

He looked up the old sale to verify make and model of the fireplace. He couldn't schedule someone to come take a look at the unit for a few weeks, but stated if anyone canceled, perhaps I could be bumped up. Trying to get a quicker appointment I called around to other places and every other place was roughly $100 MORE just to come take a look (Best was $175 for a service call).

While waiting for my service appointment, I inspected my fireplace and it turned out I had a few broken ceramic logs. Called Vic again to discuss options. Vic said he could help me take care of the warranty and get new logs - simply send him some pics. This conversation was on Monday morning, and by Monday afternoon Vic had already started my warranty order.

Day of the appointment, service tech looked at my unit, installed the new logs, did a air / gas check, and fixed the snap-plate that was apparently not working correctly (I had no idea). All I paid for was the price of a service call. All in all, an amazing, friendly and helpful experience. It's something sometimes hard to experience in the service industry today. Vic and company really went the extra mile. A really positive experience overall. Professionalism all around!

Asked if they price matched and they said yes but had to be verified. So I showed them my phone with the stores web site up and then they told me that I would have to bring in something on the other stores letterhead! Really, a store is going to go and get me a letterhead and write down the price so I can go to another store to buy it? And I'm going to do that?

So I guess the real answer is no they don't price match. They'll just had on more hurdles! But they'll say anything to get a customer inside? Btw, the same exact item was a whole lot more at best fire. So my advice is to shop elsewhere for stuff.
