We went here on the chance they would have some unfinished bookcases we needed. They had the cases and much more! We found a desk and a beautiful entertainment center. Their price for the entertainment unit, including painting, was HALF what we were quoted by custom builders and about the same as ones we saw in furniture stores that were made of compressed wood. Ours is solid mahogany And the pieces sized to order. I would absolutely recommend them without hesitation.

Love this place! We purchased 3 bedroom sets, a dining room set, book shelves, coffee table and an amazing office desk. The quality is amazing and the service is even better. So great to see a family owned and run business that truly cares about quality and service. I'm never going to a big box store again!

I ordered a dining set in January, finally received it at the end of JUNE. It is the wrong color (its black/espresso-not what I picked), which I told them immediately. The store blew me off and told me it was a variation in the stain and there was nothing they could do, after talking with them multiple times. I went to the store today to show them what I had discovered at Christmas, which is the back of the insert.

It is closer to the correct color I chose. They refused to stand by their mistake, only offering to paint the bottom white, and lighten the top. I do not want a two tone table, I want the color I chose! Obviously the stain person made a mistake, tried to cover it with multiple coats, hence the dark espresso color. And the lady in the store said they let the stain person go!

Now I am stuck with a black table in my beach themed house, a major eyesore. Very disappointed. I do NOT recommend this business. Go to Hudson's, you will be better off.

Don't let the name fool you! I was so surprised at the selection of bedroom sets they had in the store! Quality, well-made REAL wood furniture that you can finish yourself or they can do it for you. They also have pre-finished furniture you can order from different manufacturers and collections. The couple that own the store are helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products. So much to choose from! I highly recommend this store!

I love the selections at this outlet. The husband and wife team provides excellent service. They are committed to ensuring customers are happy. The solid wood furniture is high quality. The prices are good too. I expect my furniture to last many, many years. I highly recommend Barewood Outlet in Clearwater.

Excellent selection of real wood furniture. We have purchased several pieces from the store and all have been very high quality. In a world where press board throw away furniture is the norm, this store shines!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience ordering a desk from Nick and Jen. My desk arrived less than a week after ordering and was waiting by the door with Nick ready to help load when I arrived. Nick also took the time to go over DIY videos and tips for completing the project at home. I highly encourage anyone looking for furniture to shop here!

I've been meaning to write a review for the folks at Barewood Outlet - OMG are these guys amazing. My wife and I bought from them over a year ago. This included a table set, six padded chairs, an exquisite coffee table, side tables, multiple shelves, and a lot more. I would consider that we have very unique taste where we won't buy just anything. We were very hesitant as we were making a significant investment.

Our concerns we are rapidly put to rest with their amazing customer service and delivery of products, not to mention their incredible customer service. We continue to buy all our furniture from Barewood Outlet as they are literally the best in town. Their show room is always packed with innovative furniture ideas to fit all our needs. They fit every single checkbox known to man.

They can deliver light wood, darkwood, stained along with any kind of furniture, including padded seats, swivel seats, tables, bed frames, etc. everything you can possibly think of and need. You want custom, take a moment to visit these guys. We will continue to shop with Barewood Outlook - I highly recommend Barewood Outlet with 5+ plus plus plus stars!

09/30/20 Update - Nick called me the day after I posted the above. He agreed to deliver my cabinet today and I agreed to "fix" my post so, here we go. First, if a store owner/manager is willing to deliver a product on his own time and in his personal vehicle, that shows character and wanting to do the right thing to make a customer happy and the whole transaction right. That's why I bumped the "star rating" from 1 to 4. Kudos to you, Nick. 4 stars is for customer service.

See ya tomorrow with the brushed nickel pull knob. Now, the cabinet itself. Has the finish I want and looks great. It was stained inside and out as requested. Well built with one exception. It wobbles. I'm working on finding adjustable leveling feet to correct. That, currently, is my only disappointment. Would I buy from Barewood again? I'd make it a stop in my travels to see if they have what would fit my needs.

Nick is amazing! He was able to clean and restain a chair that got some mold on it. He did a great job! Plus he was extremely helpful and nice. Always nice to work with someone who loves what they do.

I happened upon this store last year and was interested in a table with 2 chairs. When I went back a month later to purchase, new owners had taken over. I went ahead and ordered the items. They had limited fabric samples and nothing bright and tropical as I had envisioned for the chair pads. They helped me select something more to my liking online, and that's what we ordered. Unfortunately, when they came in, they were less 'melon and pink' and more orange.

When I realized I could not live with that (after about 6 months) I asked for help to recover. They gave me instructions on how to find fabric elsewhere that suited my purposes better and how to measure the amount needed. I purchased the fabric and brought the chairs in for recovering. We went on COVID lockdown, so I just picked them up (3 months later).

They look amazing! And they did not even charge me for the recovering.saying they just want to make it right. Also they said they have improved their selections of finishes and fabrics greatly since last year. Love dealing with a store like this!

Such courteous and knowledgeable sales people. I am very happy with a lovely chest that I bought. Jen and her counterpart were so helpful in getting the right piece for me as size was a big issue. This small jelly cabinet has great storage room and is perfect for my needs.

They have a lot of well-constructed furniture - solid wood rather than wood shavings mixed with glue and then covered with a thin layer of laminate. The store was pretty much devoid of any junk furniture. Overall, higher quality furniture at a moderate price. My only beef is the delivery service. They contract this out, which results in the delivery people referring you to the store, and the store referring you to the delivery people.

The delivery contractor blew off the first two scheduled deliveries, and then got around to us on the 3rd promise. If you take your own furniture home, I would say 4-5 stars.
