This volume grew rapidly and Golden Oak started successfully designing and producing huge quantities of furniture for Price Club and Sam's Club.

I ordered a bathroom vanity from this company at Home Depot and it was supposed to be light oak as shown on the pictures and as written on my order. As you can see on the photo, the vanity is far from being light oak. Been trying to contact them for a week and I spoke to three Home Depot representatives so far. Everyone tells me that I'll be called back and it hasn't happened yet. Really not satisfied and very poor customer service

My following review is for the division of Bayside Furnishings. Made an general inquiry about a product that i own and i got an unexpected response from their customer support. Will endorse the brand in the future, also they will retain me as a customer, excellent customer service.

I would call the customer service horrible, but it doesn't exist. Notice most the calls is their biggest complaint. Imagine them selling you something faulty and then your just stuck with because they dont answer their phones, respond to parts request on their website, or return emails. If you want to buy something that is an essential tool of your life like a work desk, and then not be able to use it, then waste your valuable time waiting on hold destroying your productivity, Whalen is the company to buy from for all your furniture needs.

You want a horrible experience this company has one waiting for you. I was going to buy the same desk again to hold me off until my replacement part came, but I couldnt even speak to a rep. I would throw my money over a bridge befor I give them another dime. I'll be shopping with Sauder Village from here on out.

I just want to mention about the fantastic service that I received from Whalen. I bought a new desk and hutch from Staples in Dartmouth Nova Scotia, Canada. I took it home to assemble and it took awhile. However I encountered a problem with the runners for the rettractable keyboard tray. I called Whallen and spoke with a gentleman in California. This gentleman couldn't have been any more helpful, polite and knowledgeable.

He completely understood my problem and sent me an entire new try assemply. I received it in about 5 days and it worked great. I even invited the gentleman at customer service up to Nova Scotia for a visit. Thank you sooo much Whalen - Great company.

I bought a desk and lost the assembly instructions. Contacted Whalen on Sunday via the online contact form. On Monday, 8:39AM I received an email with instructions attached. After reading the manual, realized I am missing couple of parts. Contacted on Tuesday at 3:53PM, sent them an email with description what is missing. Same day at 4:42PM, less than an hour later I got their reply with shipping information, parts are on the way and will be here in 7-10 days. 6 days later parts arrived, free of charge.

In my experience, they stand behind their products, customer service is great, respond in timely manner. Positive experience and will not hesitate to buy another product from them.

Kitchen table chair broke with reasonable use in less than a year (legs all splintered off), cleary low quality. Dealing with customer service has been even worse. From experience, do not expect a call back as prompted by the automated system, or told by a human being. The final straw was tonight, my wife was on hold for almost three hours. When it finally appeared to be her time, the automated system said that they were experiencing problems and disconnected her. We have no resolution on this problem for over two weeks. Stay away from this company.
