The people here are amazing :) I was looking for a glass mini hen on a nest, and before I knew it, the staff (and a customer!) started searching for one throughout the store. While we didn't find the one I was looking for, there were so many neat finds and I decided on these two amazing items. Would highly recommend coming by. You can easily spend hours here, browsing their wide selection of high quality antiques.

Beautiful store, with friendly and professional services. I enjoyed my visit and lady in cashier was so nice and helpful she even gives us discount. Recommend it to visit.

My wife drags me in here every time we are in San Jose. Great store with lots of different booths and various merchandise. Great place to come and browse and find a whatever it might be to bring home.

Really cool place, worth a stop. Nice and big, definitely takes a while to get through! Multiple attentive and knowledgeable staff. Has good furniture, light fixture, carnival glass, and Halloween/Christmas selections. Slightly on the pricier side, but that varies between vendor as is normal. I still left with some perfectly reasonably priced pieces and wish I had bought more.

The people there are very friendly and there is sooooo much things to see. there are large furniture items, dishware, toys, jewelry and even down to those small little trinkets (that got you thinking what is that ). I really enjoyed being there! This definitely one of those places that will always stay in your mind to go back and visit!

That was my favorite store. Has gone there for years. Over 8 years. But now everything changed. If you have a old money and nor no credit cards, you will be treated like cheap or criminal. I wonder what causes that. (Maybe new owners?) They prefer white people to enter than another color people. (In past lot of colored people going there.) That made me sad.

I love that store a lot! They have all. Gorgeous. If you have to go there, Make sure you have a "Brand New" money as 2021 and or expensive credit cards. You'll be treated with respect. I want to visit the store again one day with respects.

This is another fun store to stroll through! The mid century furniture is worth it alone! The employees/stall owners are helpful and kind. There is literally something for everyone here, from carnival glass, furniture, sterling silver sets, clothing and more! I was fortunate enough to find a beautiful pair of ruby studs that have screw backs for a great price! Have an afternoon to shop? Stop here.

Not a fun experience. Cashier rude and unfriendly. He has graying hair slicked back. He thinks it is high end dealer. Store is boring. I only went back because one of the vendor was super nice. This guy working the cashier did not make me feel welcome. Keep all your junk, with that kind of treatment! Feel sorry for the vendors paying rent. How do you get customers if you continue to be that way.

I've been to hundreds of antique stores over the years and this collection of dealers is one of the most interesting and varied styles I;ve come across. The prices vary from expensive to bargain depending on the dealer. On this occasion, both dealers I bought from were willing to negotiate a discount. The staff were helpful, pleasant and practicing safe social distancing and cleanliness. It was fun to look thru the mid century stuff and I will be back soon to continue my search. I highly recommend this business.

Great place for Trump supporters and NRA enthusiasts to hang out. Items are overpriced.

OK, so if you like antiques and collectibles, you will find yourself immersed in this place. It has so much stuff that you can get lost in looking. Actually most of that area of the street is dedicated to antiques and thrifts. If you can't find a unique gift or even something you need for yourself, you probably are not looking hard enough. We enjoy Antiques Colony and its associated treasures. Check-it out.

Well-curated selection that's reasonably priced. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! I appreciate when i stumble upon local businesses with great people. Can't wait to go back! I purchased a mini credenza that's the perfect size for my entryway, as well as some other unique odds and ends.

This is a true antique and vintage store, not one of those stores loaded with 'collectibles' and new merchandise. It has everything from fine jewelry, precious cut to jade, to mid-century furniture to American, European, and Asian antiques. A collection of fabulous antique mall filled with everything and anything and more! Photos, dishes, linens, framed art, jewelry, knock knacks and so much more. The prices seemed appropriate for high quality things, at least in my area of interest. Though you can get a low prices if you negotiate.

This is the most rude store employees I hsve ever encountered they're prices are way too high and I purchased a beautiful sterling ring with a orange stone couple days ago paid a good amount for it and this morning stone fell out on the floor so I called them to see if I could return this or at least exchange it and I was rudely told to look at my receipt at bottom it states no refunds all sales final this is ridiculous I could understand if it were my fault but it was not at all and I'm never going to step foot in this store ever again very rude employees and this is just pathetic customer service And I would not recommend others shop here especially for jewelry and of you are not wearing Versace forget about getting respect or assistance in this store they will ignore you and follow you all around the store thinking you are going to steal something news flash what your wearing doesn't mean you don't mean you have no money to spend

Well-curated and competitively priced antique and vintage furniture, lamps and fixtures, objets d'art, toys, clothes, and more. Patient and accommodating staff who gladly let me place a hold on the piece I was interested in as I drove down from SF to see it in person. They have a really nice selection of midcentury modern furniture, priced with awareness of market rates but not exploitative. Could have stayed here treasure hunting for hours! My new go to spot for vintage furnishing and decor.

I upcycled all my late in laws stuff here! It was great stuff, just too much for us to hold onto. I am pleased all our treasures were graciously accepted, and hopefully another person will see (better exposure), and buy my donated treasures, and love them. No, I didn't charge vendors for this stuff. I hope you will consider upcycling your beloved treasures. (IRS only gives pennies on the dollar for Goodwill "donations" and you'll need documentation for value).

So much fun stuff. Lots within budget, but, alas not all. Nevermind, it's still worth a long look-see at Colony. The shop is spacious and filled with various vendors' goodies. I also really appreciated that Colony sells a solid selection of furniture-related cleaning products. Our haul included a Lane hope chest in fairly good nick, an old globe (an Xmas gift to my bro) & some old SF resto match books.

If I had more space in my apartment, I would have probably tried to buy more treasures. It's sort of good I don't need anything. Well, it's good for the pocketbook. Among Colony's sortiment are: mid-century furniture pieces, pyrex bowls, Danish cookware, vintage jewelry, lamps of all description, stained glass windows, wall art, shelving units, fun kitchen gadgets from yesteryear and more!

Great place - they seem pretty selective about what they let in, and careful about placing items thematically, which is great as you can avoid wasting time wading through knick-knacks and junk if you are there for the bigger and/or bigger ticket items. I've bought a couple hundred bucks worth of things from them, and I've been incredibly happy with everything I've gotten, and got an especially good deal on a large piece of Thai woodcarving.

Be aware that if you want to haggle, you'll not get far with the front desk. Don't expect to be able to get the price down much unless you're lucky enough that the item's consigner is around.

I was looking at the jewelry and had a woman open several cases for me. I picked out several pieces including one piece from the lady who helped me (Carol?). (It's a co-op with many different sellers.) I said, "I guess I've taken up enough of your time, " and she said "Yep!" RUDE. Also, if you're looking for things to resell, don't bother. Most things are overpriced here.

Very friendly people and a lot of dealer booths to peruse. Don't forget to look up because there's a lot of lovely vintage and period items that are hanging from the ceiling space as well. Nice selection of MCM furniture, cook/glassware, vintage jewellery, mantiques, oand dds & ends. Good place to find that unique gift for that hard to buy friend/spouse/coworker/relative.

Some booths are priced very reasonable. A small parking lot is available behind the building but the street leading to the lot is very packed with cars straddling both sides of the street so drive cautiously.

8/16.2017 I am very sad after many years of being a customer to learn buyer be ware. If you purchase an item you are responsible to authenticate it's quality and value. After I purchased a 30th anniversary ring, what I was told was a Platinum ring with 1.6 baguets, see pictures. About a month after purchase my wife informed me the ring changed color due common use and wear.

We took the ring to get to another location to be cleaned and checked and was informed it was copper not Platinum, see readings. The owner at Antinques Colony stated it can't be our ring. Will keep everyone informed on this journey of dispute.

This would be a great place to spend a rainy day - all kinds of stuff to look at -- Furniture, jewelry, lighting, Steiff stuffed animals, tons and tons of stuff. My friend Maria would go ape shit will all the stuff here - I am putting it on the list for the next time she visits. We only popped in for a few minutes because i am looking for a period chandelier for my 1929 condo.

This review is strictly for Craig at Antique's Colony. I have yet to visit the store. I want to give Craig a High 5 (or 5 stars.) He spent a lot of his time with me on the phone on two separate occasions, answering questions and pointing me in the right direction on how to get started selling my late mother's antiques. I do not know a lot about auction houses, estate sales, consignments or how to go about private party sales. Craig graciously made suggestions and guided me on the "how-tos" of auction houses. I'm not a big fan of antiques.

I am much more of a minimalist, but Craig's conversation actually piqued my interest in it. I am beginning to appreciate this "old junk." Who knows? Maybe I will actually get into selling this stuff (and buying) for a fun hobby. And a shout out to Joe, who answered the phone today. Very pleasant and easy to talk to. I might have to stop by for a visit.

Great collective of dealers. You can find all sorts of cool stuff in here. Everything from furniture, to clothing, records and some of the coolest antique toys I have seen at any local antique store. Staff is very friendly and the layout is excellent. A good pace to come shop for some nifty gift ideas or for yourself. Prices are all rather reasonable, which isn't always the case with most other antique shops.

"Portobello Road, Portobello Road Street where the riches of ages are stowed. Anything and everything a chap can unload Is sold off the barrow in Portobello road. You'll find what you want in the Portobello road." Anyone who gets that song reference get's extra points. Also an apt description of Antiques Colony. I could literally spend days in that place!

And thousands upon thousands of dollars. If I ever decide to go on a shopping spree. it will be here or a place just like it. So many different vendors ( means a lot of different pricing). That's the only qualm I have with the place. Some consigners are much more reasonable then others. But you can truly find such a huge and wide variety. it's just remarkable.

I got an old Folgers Coffee Tin, a couple of old advertisements, and an antique pressed glass drawer pull. A very very fun visit. I just explored and explored. The women who worked there were so nice! They tried to help me find some boy scout memorabilia. One found an old Boy Scout manual, unfortunately- it was one that I already had. I have like 5 out of around 90. so of course that would happen to me.

In any event - if you're in San Jose and love antiques- you must make your way to this store. Hey! Even if you don't, you'll become inspired, you must come to this store.
