Services
We have over 30 years of experience in the rug business and have owned and run an antique furniture and rug shop in Central Pennsylvania for over 20 years. We hand select antique furniture, rugs, and decorative items from all over the Northeast U.S. from private estates and the homes of collectors throughout the country.
If you're looking for antique bookcases from the Arts & Crafts or the Mission Period, or an authentic Gustav Stickley, look no further than Joe Nevo, the leading Pennsylvania based seller of antique mission furniture. If you are a voracious book reader, you will want to have a classy antique bookcase to showcase your outstanding book collection.
Shopping for arts & crafts antiques metalwares is a rewarding experience for anyone with an interest in antique metalware, which include items such as antique trays, antique pots and pans, antique bronze sculptures, or even an antique hammered copper dish by Gustav Stickley. The following are 3 important things you should keep in mind the next time you are shopping for antique metalware pieces. There is no single metal used in antique metalware. Instead, there are four: brass, bronze, pewter, and copper.
One of the earliest antique furniture ever documented was from about 1650. Some of the most popular antique furniture such as Art Deco or Mid-century modern are not really antiques at all as an antique by definition is something that is at least 100 years old or older. Younger than this would be considered vintage or a collectible.

Awesome variety of first-class Arts & Crafts era furniture and decor, with personable service every time. I go out of my way, and from out of state to shop here.

Open by appointment only. Amazing selection of arts and crafts furniture. Joe has a great eye for great pieces. Check out his listings on eBay and Rubylane, but definitely worth the trip out from Pittsburgh to visit his shop!

I just purchased a wonderful Arts & Crafts bookcase from Joe. I found it on his web site. He had it delivered for me 2.5 hours away -- I never had to leave my house! Overall, a very satisfying experience, and one that I would recommend. Joe is very experienced and knowledgeable in the Arts & Crafts field. I trust his assessments. The bookcase I purchased was just as he described, and I couldn't be happier. I need to make a trip out to Shamokin Dam to visit and see his offerings in person real soon.
