We buy our products directly from the shops of the Ohio and Indiana Amish based on quality and value.

The idea of starting this business was formed over several years of prayer, contemplation and experience. In 1999, Tim and Shelby went shopping in Madison, Wisconsin for a bedroom set with Tim's parents. Tim grew up in southern Wisconsin and was aware of the Amish and their reputation of quality workmanship and modest cost of production.

We bought a dining table, chairs, and counter stools from Amish Furniture Haus and we love them! They are so sturdy and well-made compared to the big box furniture stores we bought things from in the past. We LOVE our pieces and are excited to order more furniture from Amish Furniture Haus in the future. We didn't really know what to expect from an Amish furniture place, and we were pleasantly surprised at the wide range of furniture styles as well as wood and stain types. The customer service was great too!

We've purchased MANY pieces of wonderful Amish Furniture over the years; both indoor & outdoor. It is made with such care. Its quality, beauty, comfort & practicality is like none other. Each piece is a definite heirloom. We've watched the owners' children grow & they're all so personable, helpful & knowledgeable on the family business. The Amish Furniture Haus has been a favorite place to shop & visit for many years!

I ordered a Marshfield loveseat and 'chair and a half' from Amish Furniture Haus. A very kind and attentive young man, Josef, gave me lots of his time and help in selecting fabric. The furniture was delivered yesterday. I love it! I can feel the quality when I sit on them. solidly made. And the fabric selection looks even better than I anticipated!
The delivery folks were kind and careful. left no messy wrappings for me. and they arrived right when they were expected. This was a great experience, and I will return! Thank you!

My wife and I are very disappointed on our last order we purchased through Amish Furniture Haus. We ordered a custom bed frame and we were disappointed when we brought the bed frame home and noticed the stain color we requested was not the stain color that was put on the bed frame. We requested a stain color of Sierra CF7134. Which is one of the standard stain colors use by the Amish community.
We've brought several pieces of furniture through Amish Furniture Haus and several other Amish stores in Minnesota and always requested the Sierra CF7134 stain and never had a issue with the stain color until now. My wife called Tim and complained that the stain color was not correct. Tim said that there is a tolerance range that made this color acceptable on the bed frame.
We sent Tim a picture of the bed frame next to some other of our furniture to show him that the stain was a lot darker then our other pieces. Tim called the finisher and they agree to redo the stain on the bed frame. Since we live in the twin cities area, we are 165 miles away, which is a 3 hour drive to Amish Furniture Haus. Tim said the only way we can have the stain redone is if we bring the bed frame back up to their store and pick it up after it is redone.
My wife told him that this is not right that we have to bring it back up to him, especially when it was their mistake and that they make deliveries to the twin cities and they can easily pick up the bed frame and deliver it when it is done. It is not fair that we have to take on the cost of gas and our valuable time to deliver the bed frame to them when it was their mistake. This is very poor service and any other business would treat their customers better, especially when it is the fault of the business.

I enjoyed buying my Amish table and chairs from Amish Furniture Haus--everything from shopping to delivery. They have a good selection (and online catalogs), they were very helpful throughout my shopping, the custom made table was ready ahead of schedule and delivered and set up right on my dining room rug.
